Blundo Busters I found your cache Train Spotter - Manorhouse on 13/10/2024, 4:45pm. This is my find 7139 and find # 13 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Another find to keep my streak going. Two nearby DNFs tonight so nice to be 3rd time positive. A nice discovery somewhere new, TFTC
Found It!No trains here today but there were some workmen repairing the track. So I waited for a bit and eventually they moved on and I was able to find the cache!TFTC
I can be so inconsistant with logging caches. I will go out and find them, and then never get around to logging them online. So this is me catching up. I need to get out of this bad habit. TFTC!
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Hoping to collect some previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some Adventure Labs, and accumulate enough cache finds for this month’s "Wheel of Challenges" easy & hard souvenir chase. Photos will be uploaded to some (most) logs on our return to home base.
Today (day 1) we travelled out to Vineyard, going via the M2 Motorway from Delhi Road North Ryde to Old Windsor Road Seven Hills, then through Parklea, Quakers Hill, Schofields and Riverstone to reach the accommodation. Collected numerous Traditional caches, some previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, and one MultiCache, that we passed along the route. This was the 6th of 20 finds for the day (day 1), and 6th find of the holiday.
After suffering a painful DNF at the nearby Douglas Siding Train Spotter cache, this Train Spotter cache was next, and thankfully it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. And we did spot a train passing by GZ. TFTC Blundo Busters.

It looks like it came out of its usual hiding spot as we found it on the ground just in arms reach. Hopefully someone can place it in its original position.

Out caching with the geo-dog in the Schofield and Quaker Hill area.
Not sure why the parking coordinate is so far away. There are plenty of parking opportunities much closer to the cache.
The Oppy Reserve was a pleasant area to walk and find the Train Spotter caches. And geo-dog was very happy to run around off-leash!
The cache was quickly found and name added. TFTC.

Made couple of quick stops in this part of town. A few years since I've found a trainspotter. Thanks Blundo Busters .
Sydney Feb 21 Trip. Day 2. I joined Fitzy_1965, MinnieK and Tankengine for a weekend trip to Sydney to attend a few Community events and do as much caching as possible. We started with a puzzle series at Quaker's hill in light drizzle. There was then mixed caching and the first event at the Ponds. We headed into town after that and caught up with a bigger contingent of Canberra caches for dinner and a lap of Darling Harbour for caches there. It all got a bit late but it was a great day.
The next batch of caches were along the railway. The one op the stairs was a challenge, and I am pretty sure out of its original hiding spot.
Thanks for the cache Blundo Busters

Headed up to Sydney with fitzy_1965, albida33 and Tankengine for the weekend attending some Community Celebration events and caching inbetween.
Solved any puzzles before heading away. Signed as MK, F65, TE & A33 to save space and all finds were quick and easy unless otherwise stated.

23,687. Found with minniek, Tankengine and albida33 during a Sydney weekend run attending some Community Celebration Events and generally having a caching good time.
We headed up the Hume this morning with the Quakers Star series in our sights before attending the first of three Community Celebration Events over the weekend. My thanks to my caching companions which made it a memorable trip. After finishing the Star we continued along cherry picking caches until the event was due. This was the next stop of the day. This was a nice quick find once we got through the long grass at GZ. Signed the log (mostly F65 MK TE and A33 to save space), replaced the cache as found, then headed on to the next one on the list.
Thanks Blundo Busters !!

Threw away an old container, which is not the cache.
Original cache and it's log is still in place.

I was hiking in Quakers park and looked for this cache.
Thank you

TFTCM, took awhile to find under this sweltering heat. Did my duties and replaced as found.

Headed west for a few caches today
Well that took way longer than it should have.....I blame the heat

Headed out west to get my numbers up and close in on an average of 4 finds per day for 2019.
Took way too long as pin drop had us further away. Then I checked a place I should have checked before. TFTC

I think this may have been muggled, came with gusph, he looked after I told him I couldn't find it and its defo not where he found it back in Feb.
Quick park and grab, log is damp.Take hand sanitizer as tick tacks have made it stinky and smelly TFTC
Nice sheltered location. Logs a bit sticky. Nice walk here, lots of trains! TFTC!
Our 27th and final cache for the day. It’s starting to get dark!
We found this one completely uncovered. Tried to cover up as best we could in the same location.

I continued walking along the path beside the rail line in the park. As I walked I wondered about the name of the street, was there an old original manorhouse on one of the original estates here?
Once near GZ it was a short detour off the path to GZ. Not your usual tricky Blundo Busters hide so the cache was a quick find. Not a train in sight as I'd walked from Douglas Siding to here, actually no one, nothing in sight, not even a bird. As I signed the logsheet I wondered if the muggles in the nearby house realised there was this treasure so close!
Visited some TBs then I walked along the path to Manorhouse Boulevarde and back to the geomobile which was much closer than I expected!

Found... As previously mentioned in the activities log it was inside the rail corridor by about a metre, but with some perseverance and a long stick I got it back...
Not sure where the original placement should be, but Its back down on the fence line with some camouflage that was around GZ

Found. Unfortunately unaccessable. Will come back to grab it with a grabber asap.
Technically I found the container, I just have not signed the log. The container is about a metre inside the rail corridor, and I did not have my reacher to grab the container and sign the log.
I will return this week and make the grab when I get the opportunity unless BB rectifies it in the meantime

Cache #3 for the day. Unfortunately a DNF. A hint suggested it was similar to other Blundo Busters caches, but I didn't see anything that even remotely looked right.
My GPS was showing it to be on private property, not sure if that is correct.

The hottest day ever I think that we have headed out caching - even the bison tubes were piping hot We tried to choose the cooler parts of the day but it did not quite work. This was one we were able to find. Thanks to Blundo Busters for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
WaywardWoman and I had done a nearby cache and wanting a walk headed along the path. Over to GZ and WW soon had cache in hand. Signed log and returned as found then a train went past. Definitely a "Train Spotter".
#4369- Out for a morning caching with thomo31 as a train came past. I am certain I have been here before, but most train spotters look the same. Found immediately then off for more of a walk. Thanks
