Camo & wet bag, paper too wet. I needed 30 cache finds today and tomorrow to hit a certain unofficial Milestone by Friday. For years I have intended to cache my way 'up the Windsor Road'. I decided this afternoon to do as much as I could. All was going well until the rain started, and even though I persevered in it for a while, my innings was called off due to ran. TFTC Morley196
I checked every tree 18m on one side of GZ and 10m (to driveway) on the other. In hindsight I may have concentrated on the rear of the tree. I will keep watch on this.
OCW marg+1 around Kellyville, Bella Vista, and King's Langley today.
We found trads and multis and had some dnf's but best of all we had a great day out and I would like to thank the various CO's for providing the caches.

Found today on a bike trip with geofriends. This was 1 of 32 finds. Watch out for the angry alpaca on the cycleway!
TFTCM, quick n easy find after having a detour while doing the Rouse Hill Regional Park caches.
Out for a geocaching trip with the geo-sister (huntale) while down on holidays. Managed half what we wanted to do on the bikes will do the other half on another trip. Tftc
Today I headed out to Dural for the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road and, after a fun filled morning of HAM radio junk scrounging and a nice BBQ lunch with lots of friendly chit chat, it was time to get caching and collect enough caches to enable us to complete the Mystery at the Museum cache challenge with the collected jewels safely returned to the vault. I had packed the folding bike into the geomobile and planned a "ride & grab" caching raid along the Windsor Road cache trail, and maybe a few extras around the Rouse Hill area, to give us the needed minimum of 23 finds. This was the 27th of 27 finds, and 4 DNF's, for the day.
And finally I came to my last cache for the day, parking the geomobile at the end of Hassett Place, then ducking down the pedestrian access pathway and across busy Windsor Road to GZ. Quickly uncovered the hide and had CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found.
Thanks Morley196 for this cache, and for all of the many caches of yours that I have found today along the Windsor Road cache trail.

Just picking up another few caches along this trail to keep the streak going. The selected ones were not hard to find and the paper left to add to the log was signed before being replaced as found. TFTC.
WE go for a cache search. Is beautiful, the sun burns. Thanks for this cache. The loggbook is full.
Greetings from Czech Republic.
Greetings from Czech Republic.
On a really hot 40-degree afternoon I set out from McGraths Hill, and walked the Windsor Road series from that point all the way to Rouse Hill Town Centre, picking up every cache in range that I could get my hands on.
It took four-ish hours, and I consumed about two liters of liquids (a combination of water and electrolytes), then proceeded to sweat it all out.
Thanks heaps for placing the caches along this trail - as sweltering as it was, t’was a nice glimpse into the relatively quiet northwest before it all falls into the inevitable suburban sprawl. The sun was amazing despite being hot and I had some proper Aztec Camera vibes going the distance as the sun made its way to the horizon.
Three successive false starts and I eventually found the cache when the GPS decided to cooperate! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I’m very tired.

A great day for a bike ride in western Sydney with my granddaughter. Thanks to the COs for all the caches... and to those who helped maintain them.
We left early this morning to get as many caches as we could along this trail. Ended up getting just over 80 so it was a very good day. Thanks for all the caches.
Always love caching with this group, a fun day out on this trail chasing planets. Thanks to all COs for the caches.
Out with the gang collecting caches along Windsor and Richmond roads. It was a medium long pedal but a great day. Disappointingly we had to replace a few containers along the way but no biggie either since the effort should breath some life back into the trail. TFTC.
Out on a bicycle caching run with geobuddies along both the Richmond and Windsor Rd trails and also grabbing any other caches in-between.
Overall our day was a whooping 10hrs on the bikes and we all enjoyed every pedel of the way.
We found a total of 87 caches today so I apologise for my repeated logs,
Thanks to all the cache owners for providing us with a great day out.

I’ve been keen to start on this Power trail for some time now.
Today I set off on a two hour public transport journey to reach the southern end of the trail.
I arrived a little later than I’d hoped due to life getting in the way of caching this morning.
Great history along this trail and a nice walk.
Nice marker fir this one

Out for a bike ride with SeeMyShell this morning.. The track took a while because we got distracted by the two pubs along the way, and probably spent more time in there than riding the bikes ...It is Christmas time after all Most caches were found in good order with 52 finds and 6 DNFs for me today.. Thanks for the caches and adventure!

Been wondering how many a solo cacher could reasonably find in daylight hours. Made an attempt today to celebrate a major life milestone. Started near the South end of the Old Windsor Road 'power trial' and cycle-cached my way North.
The initial target was to make 40 but managed to complete that before noon. So continued on to Windsor. 50 finds came up just before Windsor with still a few hours left before needing to get back to the Eastern Suburbs for an engagement. So picked off a few more caches on either side on the ride back to the car.
Tally for the day (in 7 hours 45 minutes): 63 finds and 7 DNFs.
A big thank you to Morley196 for making this outing possible.

Our first time in this part of the country, and what a great way to see the area and learn about it. Always love a series we can do on our bikes.
Love the snapshots of history you are giving us as we seek out the caches in this series. We really appreciate the time and effort that goes in to creating and maintaining such a lot of hides.

OCW Coastblue Big day as we tackled the Windsor Power trail. Coastblue had already found a few so I got started early and caught up until she joined me. Overall I found 46 with 7 DNFs and a few we didn't go for as they'd been muggled. Great day out, we managed to avoid the rain and finish before sunset! Cache# 336 TFTC
OCW Rodney1210. I had previously completed some of this PT so Rodney did the catching up thing this morning and then we carried on together after that. We walked the track and completed most of it today bar a few DNFs and a few we ran out of time for.
My apologies for the same log over and over. I really appreciate the effort you have gone to create and maintain this PT. Given that we were chasing numbers today, these caches made for quick and easy finds. Thankfully the rain held out and we made it back to the car just as it began to fall.
I look forward to avenging the DNFs once they're active again and completing the last few caches and mystery final. TFTPT!

Parked in Rouse Hill Park and managed to find a way out through the fence to the road. Then walked towards Sydney to finish Morley 196's series. This was the second along this part of the trail. TFTC
Today we were in Richmond and Windsor so as always I try to grab another cache along Windsor Road as we drive out there.
I've looked at this one before but there's no where to park near it. Last time I looked and saw it was close to the drive into a property but no where to pull off the road.
Today I did a cheeky thing as we went by at about 7.30am.
I assumed no one would be out and about in the property and pulled into their driveway. From there it was a quick dash over to GZ where I spotted the camo concealing the cache. CIH and quickly signed the log, visited some TBs and replaced everything as found then it was back into the geomobile and a reverse out onto Windsor Road, no passing traffic at this time on a Sunday morning!
Getting closer to completing all these Windsor Road hides!

Well this is the day. I have been planned for a few weeks. I have borrowed a bike, helmet and puncher kit. But there is nothing I can do with my 52 year old leg that have not been on a bike for years. I have about 60 on the list for today a ride of about 28 km from Windsor to Rouse Hill and back. Thanks Morley196 for going to the trouble of placing all the cache with on the local history. Well done.
From all the caches I found I only found one clue for the mystery the was for the letter 5. I will need help to complete the mystery. TFTC.

Finally a day to finish off the Windsor Rd trail, started over a year ago now. We had a smallish section to do so decided to walk from Rouse House in both directions. A nice quick find, thanks Morley for this series.
This one was easy to spot and we made the quick grab between runs of traffic. The fun part of this series is how adept you get at making the grab in traffic breaks, although they go so fast we won't get more than a passing glance anyway. TFTC, all in good order.

About 1.5 weeks ago I was looking at the geocaching map of Sydney in search of a nice trail.
I noticed this trail and wanted to know more about it.
After a quick investigation I found out that it was possible to do the trail while walking.
The problem could be how to get there. Luckily the Opal travel app was of great help.
The best option was to start at the end of the trail near Castlebrook Memorial park, a 50 minute bus ride from Sydney. But only if I would not travel on Sunday as the way back from Windsor would take me more then 2.5 hours due to railway work.
So I decided to travel on Anzac Day.
The problem would be the bonus, because I planned to start at the last cache of the trail.
It turned out that the bonus puzzle coul be solved by looking at the cache descriptions of the caches along the trail. With the help of the offline viewing possibility of GSAk it was not difficult to solve the puzzle.
on Anzac Day I left my Appartment around 8:20 to catch the bus.
After arriving at the memorial park and a short walk I found my first cache around 09:30h and the last one around 15:30h. Some caches I cold not find because they were gone or were to well hidden.
2 caches I could not look for because people in the neighborhood were watching me.
1 cash I did not attempt due to a parked police car close to the cach location with the officer in the car.
The search of the first cach of this serie I had to abort because I had to catch the train back to be back around 6pm.
At the end of the day I had walked more than 20 km's and had found 52 caches.
Most caches could be found quite easily but some took more time.
Some caches took more time to log than usual due to issues with my pen.
Thanks for this trail,

Out with JJCC for an afternoon cache run in order to find our daily cache to keep our streak going.
Parking in nearby Rouse Road we walked back up to Windsor Road and along the path towards GZ. After a few minutes of looking, JJCC made a relatively quick find before the "got it" was heard. With the cache safely in hand, we both signed the log before replacing as found. The cache container and log are in good condition.

Decided to head north today for some finds, and make some I did - 15 in just over 3 hours. Sometimes it just all works, and good coordinates really help.
And with the Rouse Hill Regional Park hosting a number of the caches I grabbed, a nice long bush walk into the bargain.
For the second time, I decided to let my milestone fall where it may. 2200 caches - that's a few...

A second quick find once I got to GZ. The camo here was even more obvious than the last find.
Completed signing duties and turned around to... under Windsor Road to another cache.
