Too far for me to drive at the moment and as there is a string of DNF's on this one now and the hide is not difficult I have made the choice to say goodbye to this one.
On our way home from camping at Elanda Point for the werkend, we visited this area to find a few caches. Managed to find a park for car and camper across from GZ but couldn't find it. Searched all likely hides but no cache was found. CO may need to check if still there.

We have never come up this way and decided to visit for afternoon tea. There were Australian sailing championships on the lake to add to our experience.
A quick park and grab. All good, signed the log, visited trackables.

Visiting this area, picking up some geocachers. Quick find, Log wet needs new log and plastic bag (didn't have any with us), signed log and replaced. Thanks to youngoldfellow.
Out this morning needed to be in noosa about 0900 so leave early and grab a couple of caches

A very quick find here today, although I wasn't as quick as Wombles and Co, who saw it as she and Nyssa drove past. As I got out of my car I looked in the usual spot to Wombles telling me otherwise.

Thanks for placing this - we've had lots of fun caching by mountain bike today.
We are over here from Kapiti NZ escaping our winter and seeking some sunshine - we have not been disappointed. This cache was a quick find. Thanks for placing a cache here.
Had to come to the lake today to replace at least one log sheet so I checked on this one and discovered that the log sheet was full to overflowing. New log sheets in placed and I fixed the container. All good.
Not stumped today because it's been replaced, thanks oldyoungfella. The novice1 mobile really had a clutch problem here but it was temporarily overcome and we headed for homebase.
Out and about with barbbowman and Just a Trifle to celebrate multi milestones for JaT.

Well the day has finally arrived for us to celebrate our 10th geo-birthday and we had decided to make it a very memorable day indeed [^] We had a specific target cache in the area to celebrate the occasion plus another milestone or two 
but before we could do that one, we needed just a few more cache finds 
FastEd59 and barbbowman came with us for our outing and to our surprise, today would also be a milestone day for FastEd59
Now what better place could we go to than the Boreen Point / Noosa area Today's caching reminded us of just how beautiful the Noosa River, Lake Cootharaba and surrounds really is ... if only we could live here all the time 
It didn't take us too long to locate the cache and once we added our names to the logbook, we headed back to the car and continued on our way.
Thank you youngoldfella for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Geofemale saw a glimpse of the container from a distance. When up close something big was protecting it Thanks to geomale who came to the rescue.
With the email popping up of a new souveneir to collect my amazing geoparter KaleidoscopeCass and I planned to chase it down! Unfortunately, we forgot all about it until that afternoon.... luckily, we live 2kms from Boreen Point... so we headed to town at 4:30pm in the arvo to collect a few smileys... and make sure we got it... thanks for the cache!!

Last day of the Cachup for Newbies 2016 event, and I decided to tag along with Liz and Bruce, Brother Colin and wassap for some caches around Boreen Point.
I parked so close to the GZ that Colin could of reached out and grabbed it.

On a caching run from the 2016 Cachup for Newbies at Traveston with Spotalot. Well this one didn't stump us! TFTC.
Up this way for Xmas and New Year ... and to attend the week-end event.
Today, I teamed up Sphir3, Liz&Bruce and Wassup and headed out to find a few caches out towards Boreen Point.
A short walk from where we parked the car before making a quick find and moving onto the next one. [^]

Many years have past since we have visited this area so it was a welcome return to do a few caches with oher teams camped at Traveston for the Newbies event. Nice location and we had fun getting this cache. Thanks to youngoldfella for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the location.
I spent the morning with Makenasmum to grab the caches around Boreen Point.
This was the first cache of the day.
We pulled up not very far away from GZ and it was not very long before the cache was in hand.
The log was signed and the cache was returned as found.

Hardly stumped, this was a lightning park n grab after a morning on the lake. Nicely tucked away, plenty of log paper left, TFTC
Found after returning to retrieve our tents from the caravan park. We are in the area for the weekend supervising a venturer hike TFTC.
cache find #3217. Found the cache just as the heavens opened up. Signed and replaced as found. TFTC.
I am spending a few days camping at Elanda Point to do some paddling, mountain biking and of course caching.
After setting the campsite up there was still an hour of daylight left. Enough time to hunt some local caches hopefully. This was my first stop on the way back to Boreen Point. This one was well covered up. I had to use the hint to help find it.

We were coming to Gympie today to find the new ones there I needed and then on to Boreen Point to maintain our hides there. This one is not in need of any intervention this time. All good. Have fun.

Travelled to Pomona, and set up the caravan at the showgrounds for a couple of days.
Drove out to Boreen Point in the afternoon, and picked up some caches along the way.
We found a good variety of hides, which made the drive more enjoyable.

I know it is frowned upon for a CO to log a find on their hides. Need something to power me on and needed to check on this one and re confirm its presence where I left it. Apologies.
Found this one yesterday with Blink on our Boreen Point run with no phone reception. Glad for the title of the cache

It's always fun to find caches in places where you then keep driving past them. All was in great condition though those ants certainly aren't leaving any time soon. TFTC!
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 4:30pm. Staying in the park by the water we drove to this cache, got covered in formic acid from the millions of ants and then headed on to Elanda Point for a look. TFTC
