Today the geocaching plan for Taurus Six and I was to meander our way to the International Geocaching Day event in a Toodjay. We have both taken the day off work to give us more time to get there and of course more time for geocaching . Our route was to come up the South West Highway and collect a few caches along the way, specifically between Serpentine and Byford. Brunch at Byford before heading to Armadale to pick up a couple of Adventure Labs . The next stop was a couple of caches in the Kalamunda LGA , because we have not yet got that one yet. Before hitting the Toodjay Road from Midland . The weather was overcast and a little cold in the morning and then the sun came out in the afternoon, however it was perfect for geocaching. All in all a great day of meandering, exploring and geocaching .This was our third cache find of the day along this very busy stretch of the South West Highway . We always like to clear up a few of these SWH caches whenever we are driving by , this was one of them today. Thanks for the cache find .
Clearing up a few of the SWH series this afternoon on my drive back home from Donnybrook. This was a quick park and grab. The logbook will need replacing soon, only one space left. Tftc
Heading home after a few days camping in Dwellingup. My drive back is also an opportunity to make a dent in the SWH caches along this stretch - happily another 10 were turned yellow, along with a few extras along the way This was one that I stopped off at. Another nice easy find on the way through. No problems here today - TFTC
Caching around Perth and the west coast for a few weeks. TFTC. Nice quick driveby grab.
Down for the weekend in Quindanning to knock off the Boddington LGA series with a number of Perth cachers. This was one of my stops for the weekend. Apologies for the generic logs. Signed as Team BODS11. Cheers Keego_and_Chil!
Heading south for a caching weekend around Boddington. Grabbing some caches on the way down to base camp, signing as MICKS (Meme28, I C Nothing, Cirrus_WA, Kapelula, Sir Fancy).
On our way down south on our three day trip with the BODS11 team. Cache found and logged. Cheers K&C
Friday evening down to bidding tonight for the team BODS11 team.

This is my 1947 find.
Thank you Keego_and_Chil for placing and maintaining this cache.

A weekend long in the planning and finally here.
Heading down to Boddington to complete the LGA series.
Finished up at work early and teamed up with other members of Bods11 (the combined team for the weekend) on the drive down collecting caches along the way.
With light fading and a pub feed calling we called it a day with 16 finds and 1 DNF.

My last cache for the day. Multis and SWH caches were the plan and I gave it a good nudge.

Of course a bus comes when I'm searching. After a short wait the bus was gone and I found the cache.
Out grabbing some caches and thought we would stop and grab this one to knock off one more off the SWH series before heading home. We parked near gz and were greeted by 2 nearby mugglehounds, one friendly and one not so friendly. Luckily enough we made a nice quick find and signed your log just as the rain started coming down. We returned your cache and hit the road again. TFTC Keego_and_Chil
Out with axell33 and the geopups, caching in this wonderful winter weather just having a really nice day. Stopped and grabbed this one. Another SWH smilie on my map! Not sure this series will end, but that's ok! Thanks for the cache and greetings from Baldivis.
Found 6-10-2019 The kids had fun doing this bevore breaky. It was their 1st micro.
Off on another day hunting with Ebenie & Geotrakka. At least the sun is shining today after a very wet day yesterday. A very busy day today. Thanks
Nice park and grab on our SWH weekend. Thanks for adding a smilie to my collection
Having been thwarted by nearby gardeners a few weeks ago when I tried to grab this, I took the opportunity today. Found with no issues .
Looked for a couple of caches after finishing the Serpintine Falls Trail Race. Quick find TFTH
We headed out to collect some more smilies around and along the SWH today, we are happy to say that we came up trumps here, most of today's finds were quick, we loved the variety of caches that we came across, thanks to all CO's that placed these caches for us to find TFTC
Such a nice day that I thought that I would try and knock off some more of the SWH caches and a few others on the way. Most were found quite easily although a few took a little longer. It was so green down here with lots of fat cows and some beautiful wildflowers to look at. Only a couple of DNFs so a good day Tftc
On our way down to Burekup so we decided to find some geocaches on the way down!
Been here a few times preciously but never found it. Today we did not have our heads in the clouds and spotted the cache from the car!
Thanks for this cool hide.

Headed out on this nice Saturday arvo with the hubby to pick up some caches a bit further away from home to help us close in on a milestone soon. Quick find and replaced as found. Tftc
Day Eleven of our holiday in Western Oz.
Bettyboo3747 and I have spent the morning on the South West Highway between Jarrahdale and Pinjarra, and the afternoon trying to find a cache that still exists on the way back to Rockingham.
I always think a bus is about to come along when I search places like this.
Fortunately, this one was very clean, and there were obvious hiding spots.
Thanks, Robmc.

#12677. Day 11 of our WA holiday and our 6th day based in Rockingham. Robmc and I decided to tackle the SWH Series between Jarrahdale and Pinjarra. We managed a nice run of 44 caches before lunch and then the wheels fell off somewhat as we made our way home via Mandurah. So many caches were not viable so we didn't feel like wasting time searching. It was hard to find some caches that were still in play.
What a cute little bus shelter. I was relieved that Rob had already got the nasty nano to hand by the time I locked the car and crossed the road. Added our names and now it is time to search for coffee.
Thanks Keego_and_Chil

A overcast but fine day to be out and about. Parked nearby and strolled to GZ... Whilst I don't know this team, I thank them for contributing so that we have another cache too find. Managed to grab 39 today with 2 DNF's I will be back to collect the remainder along the trail.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Keego_and_Chil. Appreciate your effort.

Log is full (or had one space left) so I dodgied up a new one as I had time to spare. It should do for a while, fingers crossed. Sorry I didn't have official logs with me!
Quickish find in the obvious place. For the CO, the log is full both sides and we didn't have our geobag with us on this day out so couldn't replace it. Sorry. Initially wrote off the location as not being suitable for a micro then realised the target was a nano.
Out and about bright and early grabbing some SWH caches. Thanks to the COs that have placed and maintain these for our caching pleasure.

After a couple of days of coastal caching, we headed inland and picked up quite a few caches as we explored the National Park area and learnt more about the Serpentine Dams. Heading back to base we were able to tick off a few more names on the SWH... list.
**FEEDBACK TO CO:** Not sure about the TR here!! Certainly not a TR1 - wheelchair friendly. Have a read here: [Ratings for difficulty and terrain (D/T)](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=82)
Thanks Keego_and_Chil for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Hi there Keego_and_Chil.
We found your cache **"SWH...snapper1head"** at 3:21:00 PM today. This cache makes our find count 14935.
Our plan for the day was to complete some of the SWH series, together with a few others that were also close to the highway. We thoroughly enjoyed our drive attempting caches to the left on our way north and picking up the ones we missed on the return trip. We found a variety of container types and sizes hidden along the way, and also managed to pick up a couple of trackables.
Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge if the container was large enough.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

I had some spare time today and I decided to try and tackle some of the South West Highway caches. All the caches were found fairly easily with the odd one taking a little longer than others. Thanks to all the cache owners who have placed a cache here. I loved the huge variety of caches - some very small, others very big. Many of them were very unique
In total, I found 15 caches today. All of the caches were found in a good condition, I signed the log books and replaced them as I found them. Thanks for the hide.

**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! The caches I am logging in this batch were ones I found during WA Goes Big 2016. In an interest to get completely caught up, I am logging my past finds in bulk. I still have work to do after this, as I need to locate my notes from all of my earthcaches, but once those are in, I should be very close to current. I appreciate all the effort you go through to create and place your hides and do not for one second take it for granted, I just need to get caught up so I can return to my once pleasant logs. Cheers!
The WA Goes Big 2016 event provided the perfect excuse for me to pack up the wife and travel across to get some caches in WA. I have previously cached WA in 2008 (Perth to Geraldton and back) and 2011 (Kunninara) so it was great to head south from Perth this time.
This series was close to where we stayed during the WA goes big event at Pinjarra.
It was great to have such a great range of quality caches close to the event. TFTC.

Catching up with some late logs, therefore this unfortunately is going to be one of 'those logs'. I apologize in advance for the generic log, A combination of limited time and too many to log dictates that a generic log is best. I have enjoyed the hunt and being outdoors in this great country of ours, partaking in a pastime that I thoroughly enjoy. I usually head out by myself, but I thank those that have had the misfortune of my company in some of these ventures.
Thanks Keego_and_Chil for placing this cache.

Found on a fun day caching with Micaparamedic and Ahomburg. We found almost all caches including a couple that had not been found for a while, and a couple of clever hides.

Travelling to Pinjarra for the WA Goes Big weekend after flying over from NSW on Wednesday. Searching for the SWH series plus a few extras. Most were found, interesting variety of caches containers appreciated, a few took a bit of searching to locate and there were a couple of DNFs. Also found was an ants nest, a bee hive and an emu!!! Thank you to all the COs for putting out these caches.
Found it but couldn't get the log out to sign and didn't want to risk damaging it so left it as it was. Nice sneaky hide. TFTC
Almost accosted by the neighbour who was curious about what we doing... Mind you, she sprang out of nowhere!!! TFTC

Running up the numbers today in readiness of my 3000th find in Albany next week. Had a go at some SWH caches down to Pinjarra and then some Greek Alphabets plus a few others on the way back.
A quick find here thanks to the hint. The nearby dogs were going ballistic though.

Drove up to the West OZ Geocaching Meeting in Gosnells and decided to leave early and find a few caches along the way. Unfortunately it started raining heavily with a thunderstorm arriving quickly. So geoP had to make a quick dash out of the car to find the cache. Cache spotted quickly, signed and rehidden. tftc sl tnln
