Where is it!!! Tracker said that I Was literally on top of it, thought it might be in the gutter but didn't find anything but water and sticks.
Staying at the Reserve for a couple of days and this hide was not far from where we are camped. TFTC
After staying in this rereation reserve last night we thought we should start the day with this cache, which was just metres from our camp spot. The cache was easily sighted and then the taller of our team had to retrieve it and even then had to use something that was of assistance that was available nearby. Log and container are all good and our name was soon on the list. Thank you Gotcha64 for putting this cache out there.
Stopped here for morning tea, opened the app and it was only 70 Meters away.
Thanks for the cache.

I was on leave so plans were made to head to the Beechworth area with My good Mate the Roostaman, The weather turned nasty over night and today was a rather wet day driving around between Myrtleford to Milawa. Thanks Gotcha64 for the cache.
**# 15146** Found on an absolutely excellent week long adventure with Rebel Acts.
A slightly wet day for another drive around from Myrtleford to Milawa.
Thanks for the cache Gotcha64,

Came here early in the morning while staying for the weekend in Milawa. There were some carvanners staying here, but they went back inside which left us to look. (I was with my mum who is 84 and only 5 foot tall - I think that she would have struggled with this). For me (at 6'4") this was a quick grab and easy return. I suggested that we should camp next time we came here - mum was not impressed with the idea. TFTC
Well the sun came out today which was great and made for a good arvo of caching. A quick find as there were no people here today. It was good to find a tool for extraction on hand and placing it back. A great area and will used by the horsey people. TFTC
Interesting spot to visit. Had to jump to reach the cache found with indianagleeson and shellumbus. Tftc.
Bit of a stretch!!

We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the Land Down Under" ...
Didn't take long to locate container, took a bit longer to get at it. Luckily the reserve was quiet today so didn't have to use stealth.
Thanks for the fun Gotcha64!

I think I may have played cricket here once as a youngster.. A vague memory!!
It is well used by caravaners, which is great to see.

TFTC. We had been here before, but there were campers close to GZ. Only one van here today but they were inside. Found cache with minimal fuss. Clue probably needs to be revised.

Quick and easy find, nobody around, could have fired a howitzer and hit nothing! Nice park.
Our plan today was to load the bikes onto the 4wd and head to some rail trails around Beechworth. Unfortunately, just as we were about to load the bikes a car reversed out of the drive way opposite ours and hit a power pole sending it to the ground and leaving lower lines crossing our driveway. Once the power was turned off we had a look and didn't think the 4wd would fit under the lines. The blokes from country energy did let us get the smaller car out but it meant the bikes got left behind.
We drove past this reserve once a few years ago and didn't even bother entering as there were horsey type people everywhere and we didn't think we would be able to get any where near the cache. Although there were still a few in here today none of them were anywhere near GZ and apart from a few cows we found the cache without any interference.

What a great place for a camping area. If we had a caravan, I'm sure we would've used it. We don't though, so will spread the word to the people we know who do. The cows were looking at us fairly bemusedly... but didn't give us any trouble. Thanks for bringing us here and for the crowd.
My wife and I, along with Crusty K9, have just spent a few days traveling around the Upper Murray area. We had a wonderful time and found some caches along the way. We will use this area for an overnight stop some time. Thanks for helping make our trip an enjoyable experience.

We looked for another cache in this reserve quite a long time back and we appreciated having a reason to return. None of the campers seemed to notice or mind as we approached GZ and the container was easily accessed at 17:00. TFTC
Heading towards Wangaratta, locating a few caches on the way.
There were a few muggles working nearby, but not in view of GZ.
We were able to grab the cache, without being observed.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Gotcha64, for us and others to find.

TFTC. Gotcha64. Jimmytherat with Noelle04. Had to negotiate some muggles. Didn't expect any here.
Surprised to find a couple of camping Muggles in this reserve. They were keen to have a chat. Think they were as suspicious of us as we were of them! Found with my usual companion Jimmytherat. TFTC
This one has been on the to do list for ages. Finally got there today. Had quite a bit to do with this reserve in my younger days. Played tennis here, attended church camps and even a baptism in the river down the back. Drove down to see the river while I was here. Not a huge amount of water atm. Thanks for bringing me back.
Day twenty of my holidays, moving on from Bright to Mansfield, Nice quick find with no muggles in sight (although I was surprised to see a couple of caravans camped nearby.
My thanks to Gotcha64 for the cache.

I had been here before caching but not as far in as this. There were some folks camping not far enough but they were not an issue today, and a quick find was made
Loved the name Gotcha64....pity there weren't more in there though.
Took a bit of an effort to both make the grab and then return it....but I managed and was good.

A couple of caravans nearby but positioned the geomobile between the hide and them. Retrieving was the easy part. Replacing took a bit of ingenuity, but I soon got it back there. TFTC
Great spot and top hide to go with it.
Would never come to a place like this if not for caching.
Many thanks to gotcha 64 .

While doing the Gourmet Run I sidetracked for this one so I could get a cache by Gotcha64 for the numbers 'n Names challenge. The area was alive with muggles, horses and horse floats and we had to perform some photography subterfuge while recovering and replacing the cache. So glad Muggle Hubby was with me today. I've no idea how I would have got it without him!

As today was our last day in Wangaratta for a while we had to brave the weather whatever it had to offer. The approach to this cache felt somewhat familiar, then we realised we camped here among the cows in 2012. With a little improvisation we were able to add our name to the cache log at this interesting country reserve.
TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks to Gotcha64 for the hunt.

Suscoe's 10th find of 42 caches for today on a terrific day out and about in the Wangaratta area.
After a few days of wet weather, today was pretty dry and quite pleasant even though it was cold.
We saw a broad range of caches and enjoyed the trip through the countryside and the towns.
Thanks to Gotcha64 for placing tis cache here.
We enjoyed the drive through the angus cattle that were grazing here today.
Our trusty tool bag came in handy here today.

This was an interesting spot with lots of horses and muggles camped around it including a temporary horse fence around GZ. Bro is over 6 ft with long arms but it was still out of his reach. Made for a bit of a laugh, especially getting it back in place - discretely!

Someone in a big RV parked nearby asked "are you looking for the geocache"...meant we didn't need to be to stealthy about it

#5270 We were enjoying the air-con comfort of the geomobile whilst making the dash to a cache here and there when we came upon this great little reserve. There were some angus cattle grazing nearby but they weren't too concerned with us & the cicadas were on song . The vertically challenged one spotted the nicely tucked away cache leaving Dad to make the find. We thought we were the only ones here until we were leaving when a Navara exited from the other side of the reserve. Our thanks to Gotcha64 for the cache and fun. Cheers [^]
Out on a mission from Harrowang, chasing the requirements for CHALLENGE - Numbers 'n Names
A few horse groups in residence today but still able to get to the GZ unobserved.

Day two of our post Christmas / pre New Year trip... taking our new tent trailer for a test run, weather was very hot and humid. Our travels are taking us up to Ettamogah and across to Old Tallangatta before returning home.
Visiting many towns along the way, taking the Geo wife to places she has never been before, and giving our Geo Pug time to sniff out new territories
Did not expect to be seeing constant temps in the high 30's to low 40's... Geo wife got to see her first live black snake on the road in Australia, and I almost stood on a 5 foot brown snake at one cache on the HCRT, and a red back spider at another.
Stayed at some nice FREE camp sites along the way and a couple of caravan parks as well, learned a lot of things along the way, history and more, but in all a great adventure and we were able to clock up our 1000th find along the way ..
thanks to the CO for this cache

#314 Another great day out geocaching from Goughs Bay to Milawa picking up 26 finds along the way, including several former dnfs! This was the 20th find of the day, was careful around gz, nice spot for a brown to curl up but none spotted today. Nice hide and tftc Gotcha64.
Found at 5:13 PM GAFF1 in the company of highrod. While looking for a place to camp we walked past this cache and a quick find was made - you can actually see it! We found later on from the Pony Club people that were packing up that they all know about the cache and look after it.
We then found a great spot under a tree near the play equipment to camp and the Pony Club people offered us their camp fire and the use of the toilets and showers - all for just $10 per team - fantastic value and such a great spot - apart from the pony poo and flies
Thanks Gotcha64.

I turned up at the recreation ground to find the place full of horse riding muggles [:o]
So I parked the geomobile in the shade of a gumtree and sat around and waited.
It had been decided that this was where the Heroes or Villains mob were going to camp the night.
The horsey types left one by one and the cachers began to arrive.
Well we scored a good campsite here thanks to the generosity of the pony club whol left us a roaring campfire and an amenities block with dunnys and showers [^]
Even the weather cooperated and the storms and rain left us alone, bar a couple of spits that even a builder's labourer would have kept working through
Somewhere over the back of the oval a few of us wandered and soon found the cache in the rafters

Found by Mary & David at 1715. Most of the "Heroes or Villains" gang were camped here for the night, and we spent a very enjoyable evening with them. We'd previously found a cache in this reserve about two years ago, and now there's another one to find. Took a very short walk across from the camp site, and spotted the container after a quick look around. Our thanks to Gotcha64.

We pulled up here and waited for the rest of what was left of the Heroes and Villians Event to arrive for another night under the stars. There was a pony club event going on so we waited until they left before finding a suitable location that one of the horses had not used as a toilet.
We have to thank the pony club as they left the shower open for us and also a very welcoming fire we made good use of.
Our pocket query had run out back up the road and we did not realise this cache was here until we saw a group heading off so we joined in and are happy to have our name in the log.
Our thanks to Gotcha64 for the hide.
When we arrived at GZ they were everywhere - horses, young riders and their parents - as they participated in a pony club event. Luckily they were preoccupied with their activties and as we didn't have a horse, we were ignored and we were able to make a unobtrusive search. Once our GPS settled down, we were able to make a quick find. The cache and it's contents were in good condition. TFTC Gotcha64.

Been a while since I've been to this reserve, but hadn't ventured this far in or seen the facilities here. Seems to cater for quite a few different sports in this small area. Made the find and signed the log while the Ez boys were preoccupied with filling in the rabbit holes so we wouldn't twist an ankle

Checked for GS in area and I was only 95 ft away from this hide and we stayed the night.
Found on a long trip north to meet up with code 1 to do a rail trail along the Hume. It was a very interesting area and was approached by one of the committee members to see what I was up to. After showing her and explaining it she was quite happy that there was another reason to people to come in and visit this area.

The Labour Day long weekend gives me the opportunity to head up to Lima South to stay with friends and to get some caching done in northern Victoria and southern New South Wales. Starting early in the morning I had a great day collecting smilies, eating the occasional sticky bun, and working it off hiking the hills. It was well after dark when I returned with a parched throat that was soon Quenched. thanks to all the CO's who placed caches that I collected today. Thanks.
Wangaratta Area 2013 with Mtrax. With no one about in the reserve and the pony club we were able to make our way all the way over to GZ and look around in peace. A wonderful area here. Thanks.

Had a great day, and collected just under 20 finds from memory, on a loop that took almost 500kms to complete, heading past the Warbys, Benalla, Greta, then into Wangaratta and finally home.

Did a run of some Sprit of Salts with Bettyboo3747, all the way out to Lake William Hovell.
This was one that we picked up on the way home after doing a bit of maintenance around the area.
We drove in and there was one muggle camping nearby, but we used the shed as cover.
Very handy chair that one!
Thanks, Robmc.

# 2835. Robmc and I were on our way home from Lake William Hovell. We called in here hoping for a quick find as the day was getting away from us. We were very lucky as we parked near a shed that provided screening from a couple of people camping nearby. Yes, a quick find here and we were on our way. I have one of the Gourmet Series caches in here too. TFTC

Detoured on my way home from Benalla to grab this onw in my lunch break. If I'd been paying attention to my notifications I'd probably have gotten the FTF... but alas.
As tall as I am, I required the use of the conveniently located elevation improver, after a relaxed search as the area was devoid of activity.

Very nice park this, must be a favourite for travellers as there were a few camped here. GZ however was clear except for a cow that decided I had something it wanted and followed me around. It was most disconcerting when trying to be inconspicuous. Found the cache and was chuffed to be the second congrats to Harrowang on the FTF.

Sadly, too much horsey muggle activity to find this one, after the easy find of Gourmet Run - Oxley Reserve. Next time ...
FTF!!!! YAY us. Out driving with Ava (from Beavar) and looking for a local cache for today, we headed for Oxley after a DNF in Wangaratta. We knew exactly where this Reserve was and spied a couple of cars and caravans setting up camp as we drove in the entrance. They were not near GZ so Mr harrowang was able to make a quick find and bring it to the geoHilux for examining. We were very excited to find a blank first page at 4.28pm. TN Left: elephant & PT. Mrs Harrowang remembers coming out here for Sunday School picnics in the early 1960's. A good first cache and co-ordinates were spot on. TFTC Gotcha64 and look forward to more in the future. #1359
