Decided to grab a quick cache while passing through Port Augusta. Quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
Geo/rge and I having started our journey home from Alice Springs to Moe, Victoria; after attending the Red Centre Experience.
We are enjoying all the sites and sounds that the caches are taking us to.
On the homeward straight now. Maybe a day or two before we are back in the valley.
A quick find and the log was signed.

Team ICE on a two week geocaching trip in Australia. Our main target was the Red Centre Experience at Alice Springs but of course we did some caching in other places too. We drove from Adelaide to Alice Springs and then back. We saw lots of interesting and beutiful places like opal mines at Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta. Our rental travelled almost 6500km on gravel and tarmac roads. The weather was great, only on last day we got some rain.
All the caches logged as Team Ice, T-ice or Tice with kapeka, laalaa and Hiltsu. We had a great trip!
Today our journey continued from Port Augusta to Coober Pedy and we visited at Woomera on the way. Interesting little town. In the morning we found some caches from Port Augusta and more caches logged on the way. next night we spent in the underground motel.
Thanks for the cache and greetings from Finland!

We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( South Australia and Northern Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!

###Trip to the *Red Centre Experience* 2017###
Unfortunately, half of our team is home-based due to work commitment, the other half is lucky enough to be Alice Springs bound, in the company of Team Indiana08. Therefore, for a couple of weeks, our team will be attending some events and possibly finding the odd cache in different states.
---
Oz Mega 2014 - great memories. Well, the question is no longer relevant, but the cache is still there and asks to be found. And this is what we did.

#6610 - 09:25; Day 9 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune and albida33, so most of the 33 logs for today were signed S.A.L. as a result. After packing up camp, we were on the road again headed to Glendambo via Port Augusta and Pimba along the Stuart Highway, with a detour in to Woomera and Roxby Downs. This was our last stop for a while, just after we turned onto the Stuart Highway, which we will be following now for a couple of weeks right through to Darwin. TFTC OzFiresafe
On the road to the Alice Springs Mega with LuckyL10n and Albida33. We headed through Burra and Port Pirie before arriving in Port Augusta for the trek up the highway. Collected a good number of caches and all were found with no issues and the logs were soon signed. (Some logs were signed as S.A.L. to save space.)
Thanks for the cache and fun in getting to it and finding it.

Leaving Port Augusta this morning with the longest day driving to date 540Km's to Coober Pedy. Always made longer by finding a few caches, 6 today with some left for the return trip.
We have completed our visits to the ACT, Snowy's, Dandenong, National Riley Rally on Philip Island, a quick stop near Geelong, some of the Grampians, the area around Robe and share the beginning of a 50th celebration with a friend on the Murray.
Now it's off to the Red Center Experience GC6825Z before returning home with skibum1 from America via Broken Hill, Lightning Ridge, Killcoy and Armidale.
Visited a group of trackables that will be left at the Alice Springs Event.

After not finding the cache I read some logs. Then I returned and made a quick find. It had fallen on the ground among grass. I put it up higher.
Please people, put the log into mintie tins with spine out, so it is easy for the next person to extract it.
