Came back to avenge my previous DNF. The area has recently been slashed which made this find considerably easier then last time we were here. Thanks for the cache.
Today I was invited along to cache with the logan gang of roddyc, hatzofff, imbunda and ring in, echocage1. The plan today was to drive out west ways and clean up a couple of caches for maintenance and collect a few caches as well. This cosmic challenge has gotten people out about and all for a couple of souveniers. It was a fun day and although I already had half the caches on the list today, I still had an enjoyable time and got in a few laughs. A good company group to cache with.We headed along a trail of caches and into the hills and some awesome views. There were a few along this trail and the Pharaoh's were watching out for us.The logs were signed and the caches were replaced as found, thanks for the caches in this area.
Today was a trip up in the Lockyer Valley with RoddyC, Hatzofff, chamad and Echocage1 to gain a few Smilies and also earn some points for Cosmic Quest.Soon had the cache, log signed before replacing as found. It sure was a beautiful day . TFTC
With hatzofff, imbunda, echocage1 and chamad for a pleasant Sunday caching around the Lockyer Valley.Almost gave up.Log signed and cache replaced as found at 1:43 PM on August 4, 2024. TFTC, Tonned.
OCW hatzofff, RoddyC, Imbunda, and Chamad in the Lockyer Valley today.Lots of scratching about before we found it.TFTC
Out with RoddyC chamad echocage1and imbunda to pick up a few smiles out of town.Nice trip out and about. Nearly a DNF then I saw a bit of green.TFTCache Tonned
Quite overgrown and without my usual gloves was not prepared to shove my hands into holes. Will be back for another look.
Decided a trip to Egypt was in order today, as we were staying close by (Elphinstone) Downloaded 11 caches as I knew we would probably be out of range for most of the day. What a abeautiful drive through the hills, but I would not like to have been Gorman and his band of intrepid travellers....More great views here. Thanks for the hide Tonned
Geohubby located this whilst I idled on the verge. Had a bit of traffic on this quiet road today. Definitely a lovely view. Tftc
Poked around for a while in the appropriate spot, even checked the other 'princes', but no dice
Wow this container was so full of ants there was hardly room for the log.
Muggle Hubby emptied them all out, shook the log free of them, and cleaned out the container whilst I added our names to the log.
But great view out over the dam though. Thanks for bringing us up this picturesque road.

Found at 2:03 PM GAFF1.
Back to the Pharaoh trail and the people in the commanding view on top of that hill must be wondering what the heck is so interesting with that fence post Haven't seen one that colour before - really stands out!
Thanks Tonned

After a rainy day yesterday it was time to get out and find a few caches. After the GPS settled down, found stamped log and replaced. Thanks to Tonned
TFTC,
We have had a couple off rain days and it was great to get out. We decided to go for a drive and take in the valley views.
Don't know why, but it took so long to find it.

The cache description definitely helped here... it wasn’t long until I found the familiar container... I put the second log back into the container and returned as found... tftc...
Visiting Toowoomba and finding a few caches around the area. Day 2: a big loop south taking in Wyreema, Cambooya, Nobby, Clifton and Allora as well as other areas of interest along the way.

A perfect Spring day for another drive around the countryside while at Toowoomba.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly good safe hides.
Thanks for the cache Tonned,

Heading to an event today, I figured it was a good day to take a detour and find some caches, including this one! Thanks for placing it here.
Had to bring a friend to Gatton to see her sister, so I had the choice of either listening to the two of them 'cackling' to each other all day, or take my geodog Scruffy out caching ... ummm ... 'What to do ??'

Gotta say I hadn’t actually heard of this series, maybe it’s a Northsider thing but when Ms Maddy had a hinkling for Egypt I scratched my head and yeah let’s drive in the opposite direction for another thirty mins on top of the two hours I’ve just driven and sign a piece of paper in the Bush...when I got here I thought , gee glad we did this one, awesome road. Well worth a visit Tftc
Needed a traditional find for the calendar today so decided to clean up some caches that have long needed a visit from the Eskies. All seemed quiet on the muggle front up at the house today except for the yipping dog. Straightforward find and plenty of room in the log thanks to WallabyWanderers. TFTC Tonned.
Out and about on an afternoon geocaching mission discovering more of the toowoomba area as I have only just moved here, my amazing Geo-Wife KaleidoscopeCass is a local so knows these areas well.. geocaching certainly is a good way to explore!
Oh to live in that house with the stunning view!!! And the occasional geocacher randomly stopping by the fence lol. Log book was full, so added another for future finders. TFTC
No muggles noted in the house on the hill, a few stealthy moves later and the log was in hand and signed. Thanks for the cache!
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Currently staying at Laidley today we decided to head out for a drive in the surrounding area. Got a little sidetracked and strayed further than we had loaded into the GPSr. Luckily we had GSAK with us and were able to grab coords for caches offline. Phew.

The views on the way to this next cache on this trail were so nice. The roads are pretty good and at gz i spotted the cache quickly. really enjoying this series. thankyou
Out doing a little bit of MTB riding around the back blocks of Ma Ma Creek and collected these caches on the home run. There are some tough little climbs ( well big climbs) in this ride. Stopping for caches provide a few much-needed breaks
We parked the cars right beside Pharaoh's Trail 1 and looped southwards and then back of Little Egypt to return to the start.
I suspect I’m the first person to complete the series ( well what is left) by mountain bike. . 56 km round trip over 1000 m elevation gain

A quick find. Great clue! A herd of cows and two horses came for a closer look. Thanks for the cache!

Nice quick find after finally thinking to check the description. Do cows count as muggles?
On our way back from Stanthorpe and thought we would drive a road less travelled. Great scenery the entire drive from Clifton to Gatton.
Thought we would give this trail a go! What a climb and the change in scenery, vegetation and road conditions kept us interested the whole way.

Walking like Egyptians we trooped up to this one. we had the time to spend and it was a nice day. Thanks for the series.
Visiting the area with geo friends to grab a few caches, left my little car near the highway as I didn't think it would make the journey on the dirt road and hitched a ride with joojoo57. All finds were enjoyable with beautiful scenery in some places. Thanks Tonned for all the good hides and TFTC
4th find on the Lockyer Run with the RichardsClan. This honour was mine, after the boys were put off by the long grass and a fear of chip dust. TFTC TNSL.
Out for a day of caching with Gullivers Travels54 and we had many great finds and saw many great places. Thank you to all the CO's for the caches. Tftc
Had a bit of trouble writing on the waterproof log. Great type of log but I would have been better using a felt type pen I think? TFTC
Found where I first suspected it to be, but where I looked last because there appeared to be no track in the long grass. Thank you Tonned for the cache.
Glad to add a smiley to this one. I cautiously approached gz through the long grass. I nearly gave up on this one but persisted as i thought about the hint. Tftc
I have to say Tonned, this has been one of my favourite ever caches. Not so much for the cache itself (I did like the container though ), but because of the experience - it kept me smiling all day. Geohubby pulled up on the side of the road and my heart sank. Whoa, that house on the hill is totally overlooking where the cache is and I can see some kids in the front yard. Hmmmmmm, time to be stealthy. I went over to GZ and started to search, c'mon where are you, grrrrr! I hear a shout, oh no, not a cranky muggle . "It's not there, look at the other one!". OMG, I'm getting directions to the cache . It was a total crack up. I could hear the kids giving a running commentary on the success (or lack of it) of the search. Geohubby came over to help and when we finally found it, I waved the container in the air and yelled "found it!". If this was you and your place Tonned, thanks for the hints, if it wasn't you but a muggle friend, please thank them for making my day. A favourite point for you
Another nice easy hide on the tour with plenty of views !!

I had been with Net88 in Stanthorpe for a few days doing Mega things and we were now headed homewards. Rather than take the Cunningham as usual, we chose this backroad and upon seeing a few hides just another detour away, we decided to pay the Egypt area a visit too. It was a drizzly day on these dirt roads and some sections were pretty slippery. I was happy to be in a Subaru, but that didn't stop me hanging the back end out a little bit a few times.
There were many kilometres through wilderness driven before coming to this one. I could not fathom after all the uninhabited bush in the area, this one had to be within direct sight of a house! I parked close and decided to make it snappy. Apart from the possibility of muggles, there is a wasp nest at GZ. I headed over and made a quick find - at least this hide has accurate co-ordinates. I have seen these containers before and the logbook within was signed back at the car. It was replaced and we drove on further - I did note the interesting sign a little further along at the top of the hill. Very official looking TFTC Tonned.

Captain Terror and I were heading home from yet another enjoyable week at Stanthorpe. We had decided to take the back road home instead of taking the Cunningham and this clump of caches were barely a detour from the route we were taking. There were only a few out of the Trail that made it through our extensive filters, this was the second one.
I had read previous logs on the way to this cache so we knew we weren't going to feel too comfortable finding this one.. and we were correct. We parked the car and the Captain legged it over to GZ, grabbed the cache and jumped back into the car. We signed the logbook and he replaced the cache. TFTC Tonned.

Have come across a couple of these before so recognised it straight away. Thanks Tonned
Another nice view. Especially form the nearby house. Not much chance of hiding from them when you are in plain sight and messing about on their fence line.
