Got here before clocking all the DNFs from this year! CO to confirm status please
Driving past this one today and can confirm what others have said. The site has been cleared and is now a gravel dump for the extensive roadworks in the area.
The grass was quite long and I was looking out for snakes. Once I got close I soon found it. Thanks 2 shadows for the hide
Really disappointed with this one haven't come back to it several times because of trucks & day trippers. GZ is so overgrown it is not possible to find cache
A spare afternoon and a chance to test out our new Subaru so we set off for a circuit from Gatton to Toowoomba via Cunninghams Gap. Caching with WillPunkey and StephLego. StephLego refused to use the toilet but i soon located the cache.
With a milestone coming up, I decided to go roadtrippin' down to the Granite Belt and Tenterfield to pick up a swag of smilies I missed while visiting for the Mega last year. Left Brisbane at 0330 and after 15 hrs on the road driving 650kms, managed to find **exactly** 100 caches .
Fir some reason the GPS led me to the dunnies where I made a quick check before realising it was actually located further afield.
The road in and out of the rest stop was atrocious, I'd be surprised if any trucks stop here any more.
This cache is in good condition, thanks **2 shadows** for showing us this spot. Discover our code TGQNRV, and mention where you saw it.

Tftc, smaller container than I expected, no pencil so left Ikea pencil for cache. Retrieved tb
Headed back today as I saw that it had been replaced a while ago.
Arrived at GZ and the place was deserted, just for searching.
Soon where we needed to be and the cache came to hand.

Got the day of work and was driving to mt Mitchell for a bushwalk. Lovely scenery. Quick find while the family used the toilet. Tftc.
Whilst heading south today, I decided to stop at this truck parking area to stretch my legs and at the same time grab a cache.
When at GZ, it was not too long before the cache was in hand.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache replaced exactly as found.
All is good with this cache.
Find #520.

Find by pnutbeagle and The Marathon Man (Northern Ontario Canada) continuing our vacation in Australia after having spent 4 weeks in New Zealand. Also enjoying the great weather in Australia of 25+°C. We are also away from the -3° C and snow back home in NorthWestern Ontario, Canada.
Another great day of geocaching in Queensland, Australia. Today we travelled from Roma, QLD to Hastings Beach (on the coast), QLD on our way to Sydney, NSW, to catch our flight back home to Canada on May 22.
No problems here

On our way back to Brisbane, we made a quick stopover to find this cache. After parking the car, we made our way through the long grass to GZ. The cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
First to sign new log with geo jezza and first cache to find on our round oz road trip:-)
On our way to Hervey Bay for Xmas we stopped for a quick check on this cache as we had a few DNF's. The cach is safe and sound. Grass is very high. Council hasn't mowed for a while. Happy caching and beware of snakes.
Second attempt at this one. Though I had found it, but it was a bag of something, really don't want to know what.
The cache "Quick Stop Over" .
Just following up on my "Needs Maintenance" log. It is now well over 28 days old and there has been no reaction.
Could a reviewer please temporarily disable the cache pending a response from the owner.

Hi there 2 shadows,
Your cache "Quick Stop Over" was last found on 7/04/2015, 126 days ago, and has had 5 DNF's since that time..
Is there any chance you could do a maintenance run to confirm if it is still there - - and replace it if it isn't.
If that's not possible then please archive the cache so that the spot can be freed up for someone else to use.
Regards
Ian & Penny

With the MEGA event in Stanthorpe ending last night at the showgrounds, It was time to head back to Brisbane to take sharkiefan to the airport for an evening flight back home, but not before finding a few select special caches including Queensland's first cache "Queens Land" and anything else that took our fancy.
A quick stop over indeed, nice one. .
Thanks to 2 shadows for the cache. TNLN

Found as part of a short caching adventure before the official start of the OZ MEGA 2015 with Alpenmilch80 before the start. We arrived yesterday, arrived in Stanthorpe and now it was onto the serious business of collecting some numbers.
Signed the cache as "ACDC" (Alpenmilch80, Cats&Dragons Caching Team)
So again thank you for the FUN of the hunt

Driving from Brisbane to Stanthorpe for the mega, this was our first stop on the trip once out of the city. A nice quick find really, with nobody else in the parking area apart from a motorcycle further up. Never quite worked out what the hint meant though. Thanks 2 shadows.
Up from Canberra and found with Rapidlywild on a two week geomission around the Gold Coast and, of course, for the MEGA
So after 4 days of caching around the Gold Coast, it was time for us to head to Stanthorpe for the 2015 Mega After pitching our tent it was time for us to hit the powertrails, the puzzles and all of the other caches on offer around the region. Great fun!
Apologies for the somewhat generic logs- it's not easy remembering every single hide so far!
Thanks very much to all of the cache owners for their hides

It was time to make our way towards Stanthorpe and of course, we collected caches along the way. We were having issues with the GPSr's for most of the time we attempted to cache in Stanthorpe today however a fix was provided to us to resolve the issue as it was being experiences by a number of the Garmin GPSr users.
We decided to give the Fruit Run a crack today and of course a number of other caches.
Thanks 2 shadows for placing this cache for us to make a find on

Staying at Kalbar Showgrounds for a while before the Oz Mega at Stanthorpe. We went out for a drive through the beautiful country round here to do some caching, dodging the rain showers. Lucky this was the last one for the day as it bucketed down just after we signed the log and we were drenched getting back to the car. TFTC
Pprime does MEGA!

Today we made a road trip from Brisbane to Warwick and back. Along the way pick picked up a couple of caches and saw some beautiful scenery. To al cache owners, thank you for the effort you put into your caches. We had a wonderful day .
The cache needed some TLC which it had duly received. Cleaned and fried it out. Threw out some organic matter and a set of completely wet cards that just would not come apart. Replenished with some new stuff. The log book itself is ok, but a secondary one (looks like an old log) was really wet, too. But 5 mins on the car bonnet soon dried that out, so we put it in a separate zip bag by itself. Replaced higher up so that water should not be so great a problem in future. Found at 11.35 am on 7th Feb 2015. TFTC.
