Heading to a graduation dinner tonight, thought I'd travel down Mt Keira Road.
To be honest, I don't know why I don't travel this road more often, it's much better than Mt Ousley.
Easy grab. Thanks for this one

Mt Keira Rd closed today so I thought it might keep the muggles away. A bit of searching high and low then I found it.
Quick park and find with my father. His first find! He spotted it before I did.
Found on a cold and rainy day. Dropped off a trackable that wants to travel. Thanks
Found it!!!

Have been driving past the turn off to the the lookout for years, decided to go up and have a look. Great day, sunny and no wind. Found the cache with no trouble. Saw 3 lyrebirds along the way. Thanks for the cache Hoojar!
Found by Gribblet2 after nice walk to robertsons lookout. GPS jumped around for a while. TFTC
Quick park and grab here. Loving this series as we are on holiday day-tripping and these pop up everywhere and have all been quality. Thanks to all the cache placers!

Left turn after climbing Ousley and straight up towards Mount Keira L.O. Nice and peaceful away from the noise of the highway. Took a couple of minutes and soon had the CIH. TN Left a small peg. SL. TFTC Hoojar.
Our 8153rd overall find.
Found with FarmerFrentzen on our Christmas break caching trip. Found on a drizzling wet morning on the way into town. This was a simple find but we can go no further.
Thanks Hoojar for the cache.

Found during a run down to Wollongong with Big Matt and Shell.
It had been a little while since we had cached Wollongong and with the publishing of the LIPT we decided it was time to make another trip down south. The weather was near perfect and a very enjoyable day was had making our way around Lake Illawarra and surrounding areas.
A quick detour around to grab this one as the road remains closed.
Thanks Hoojar for the cache.

TFTC and thank you for the great location. Caches like this make it a worthwhile activity.
Not a lot of traffic now the road is closed downhill from the cache site.
A quick find in the end, thanks Hoojar.

Just what the doctor ordered - a quick find on a miserable Winters day to keep the August challenge alive. Nicely placed too. TFTC.
Easy find! Didn't expect it to be were it was, fluked it actually... TFTC D
Found easily enough.
As I reached to check the camouflague I noticed a giant hairy caterpillar has somehow found a perch on my wrist during tonights' srummage. It wasnt there much longer!

Found the cache container along with several other "containers" discarded by possibly non-cachers. TFTC
TFTC! Me and COBERR1ES were right next to it and I nearly gave up then I went back in and found it straight away! After that I started thinking how we didn't see if before.
The Booo's had planned a day at the beach and our planned path was down this stretch of road how ever just before this cache the road is blocked due to a rock slide, so a quick find then a quick turn around and back on the road for an alternative route down the hill.
Quick find
thanks the road was closed here so we had to go another way down the coast today

On our way to a Queens Scout presentation at the Scout Camp. Easy find, thanks.
A nice easy find, it was a great place for the wife to pickup the first of her leaches for the day. Good times...
TFTC,
Needed to drive south for a cache on day 341 and thought a coffee near by. Unfortunately Mt Keira has closed down and after locating a couple more caches, it was back to the new Sublime Point for the coffee.
Took TB and will se what I can do to help it on it's way.

Found today with Wazza9, after getting no coffee at Mt Keira, we were off to find a coffee shop when we couldn't go past this easy cache, another one that could be seen when you walked up to. TFTC
Spent plenty of time up and around the mountain over the years. Bit quiet at the moment with the road closed down the hill. A nice little hides hole but again my snowmobile struggled to find parking here. TFTC!
On our way to visit the Regional Moot with Hoojar saw this one quickly accounted for. TFTC

So everything is honky dory. Just as I suspect were the cache is hidden FREAK wind storm starts and I wonder is this a sign. "Dont touch anything". Did anyways, made the find but by this time huge branches are falling down from the sky and crashing down on me and the car...I got out of there as fast as I could but the road was just full of big branches it was like a durby getting out.

Found with snorris. There were a fair few cars crowded at GZ. I guess they haven't realised that the road was closed and were all debating what to do. We managed to make the find and sign the log without anyone realising we were there. Thanks.
Out for an afternoon caching grabbing a few of the new local caches.
There was a car parked right near GZ which I thought may hamper my search but the car was empty so it was a quick find.
Thanks

Someone must have had quiet a party not long ago going by the number of milky way wrappers, half a packet of tim tams and the coke bottles left behind. Practiced a bit of CITO as well. Thanks Hoojar.
Parked at the gates of the lookout and was surprised to see so many walkers out and about in the rain. Had to wait a while before we could get out of the car to start our search. This one took us a while as the gps was bouncing all over the place but we got there in the end. TNLN SL TFTC
Gps made us search at the wrong place, but at the end we trusted our (slowly developing) geo sense and made the find. TFTC!
With my usual access to Mt Keira Road temporarily blocked, grabbed this one at the end of the Kembla/Keira ridge drive. Easy find once a muggle moved who was leaving a note on the gate for the Ranger regarding some lost abseiling gear. Hope he finds it.
Apparently I was lucky with the route I took today as Mt Keira road is closed at the time? So I approached from the top and went out that way as well. No tourist for the top yet so could log in all quitness and had to avoid a couple of lyrebirds driving out!

Quick find, seen a massive python snake on the road that we needed to help across the road so it wouldn't get squashed. TFTC
Quick drive by on a circuit of new caches with Toadmeister7 and The Sapling. Thanks Hoojar.
A quick stop on an afternoon caching run with Woody figtree and the sapling
Thanks Hoojar for some great local Christmas presents.
