An early start from Narrandera meant there was time to have frequent geo-stops as we headed towards Dubbo.
Thanks so much for the heads up about the conditions around First Hill, it certainly saved us some time.

Thanks heaps for this cache RedmondFamily,
My day started off with using google maps to navigate to this location, but it took me on a wild adventure around the back of the park along Kalm's lane, In which i ran into the farmer who owns the land next to the cache (Where the radio tower is), After an awkward conversation as to why i was driving around these backroads with a Victorian registered car, He seemed to be a pretty awesome dude. And he advised me i could enter the park along this route but its easier going down the entry opposite bodells lane. So taking his advice (and really just wanting to get out of the area), Because who knows what this farmer was carrying in the backseat of his car, majority of them are not too impressed with me driving around there farms.
So after going back around to bodells lane entry i took a hard left and followed the road down in my 4wd cleaning up all the orb weaver spiders on my GME UHF antennas (Eeekk). The road was in pretty good condition, only scratching the sides on the car with the overgrowth a little bit. I made it to the Farmers gate and a dam ( Belonging to the dude who i spoke to earlier, who said not to go into that paddock). Just after the gates the road started to deteriorate pretty badly from the recent floods the road had become quite rutted, But nothing my car couldn't handle, I just wouldn't advise 2wd cars to go any further. But after the 200m stretch of ruts the road evens out again and is okay to drive. But i stopped here didn't want to take the risk incase it got any worse as turning around is kinda tricky.
I walked the last 400m to the top of the hill to have a look around which was pretty amazing, you could just barely see the last of the flood looking towards Forbes which j was pretty cool, Would have been amazing too look at during the flood peak. After some searching the cache was eventually found, Though my GPS was about 10m off the cache location. The log was signed and this somewhat lonely cache was one again found all in good condition.
Thanks again for the adventure RedmondFamily it was much enjoyed!.

Its a great part of geocaching seeing all the wonderful views

Found during an epic long weekend of quality caching around the Riverina with fitzy_1965. Lots of km's covered including some fun wheeling in the beautiful countryside meant for a thoroughly enjoyable trip
Made our way up the track, then wandered up from the geounit to make the easy find [^]
Thanks for the hide, RedmondFamily

18,557. Found during a meander west of Wagga with specimenX.
Day 3 of our trip, and once breakfast was out of the way we continued our wander. This was the next on the list. A very fun drive in and up to the top for this one. We shared the views with 4 motorbike riders having fun around the area. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log then enjoyed the views before heading back down again.
Thanks RedmondFamily !!

**# 23802** Found on a fine sunny day for a drive around with The Drovers.
We both had a lot to do around Temora & Wyalong, so we did.
All good safe hides and mostly quick finds. Nice countryside too.

Took us a bit because GPS coordinates were a bit off but smart hiding spot. The view was real nice too
The last hill before West Wyalong for me
So I followed the tracks in the geomobile up to the saddle.
Then enjoyed the stroll up the last bit of the hill to see the views
With the views a viewed,
I wandered around to find the cache.
No luck after several minutes and I was wondering if it was still here !!
Widening the search a bit,
the cache was finally found
Thanks for the clue !!

Seeing how 'RedmondFamily' is starting to archive their caches, I thought I would collect as many as possible that are still available to find and that I haven't already found. After seeing their profile there was two that were close by(ish) and the other one is located in 'Cooma' which for a day trip is a too little far to go. So I decided on trying to find the two close by(ish). Thank you 'RedmondFamily' for the two caches I found today and for the fun I had while finding them.
After finding 'Lake-view (sometimes)' (GCD0F5) and having a nice lunch in West Wyalong, it was time to find this cache. On approach to this cache I was not aware of the last 70metres of the road because I didn't read the description of the cache. So as I turned up that way I yelled 'oh @#$%' (I don't ever say that and anyone that knows me would confirm that). By that time, I was about 15metres up the road it so I knew I was turning around at the top of the hill. After one of the most terrifying up hill drives I have ever had, it was time to find the cache. After searching in the wrong spot for some time thanks to my GPS, I made my way to the real GZ of the cache. I made the find and soon had it signed and replaced. Now time to head down that same road again which again was the most terrifying downhill drive I have ever had. TFTC and now time to head home. I have also placed with this log a photo of the view from GZ.
P.S. RedmondFamily, if you don't want any more of your caches to be archived I would be very happy to adopt any/all of your still active caches.

You had me at 4wd. On our way north to pickup a new tray and canopy for the truckasarus we stopped here for an amazing view.
Had fun offroading getting into this one. As i was on my own for this trip I wasn't quite game to 4wd it to the very top in case i damaged the geomobile or got stuck! But the view at the top was sure worth the walk!
Found after a brief search, nice sneaky hide and made sure it was well covered again when i left. Tftc. Favorite point for this one!

Found it after a nice drive, parked car and walked the last bit whilst geokids ran. Sure gets the blood pumping. Beautiful view it never disappoints. Signed cache then went off for a bush walk and climbed the rocks.

I had a much longer drive in the forest than if I had read the description beforehand. After I sorted that little diversion I began to wonder if a 4WD may have been a better option than a campervan, but managed to arrive at the parting of the ways and walked up a steep section to make the find, My technology had me 12m out, but a quick look in likely places had the cache discovered in no time TFTC RedmondFamily
As we do drive a 4WD we went as far as we though prudent and walk up the last hill. As it turned out we could have drove to the top as there is plenty of turn around.
The cache was found in quick time and then we walked to the edge and enjoyed the views, it must be lovely up here at night time. Then we looked at the rock face below us and commented that we were lucky that the cache owner had decided to make it an easy hide and not placed it in the rock face. SL TFTC

Drove out as far as the camper would go to near this one and then walked the last climbing bit to the top. Stopped and watched the swallows from above them for a change swooping and gliding for insects. Then on to the search - I had read the hint so I knew what to look for and the cache was located.
Signed logbook 6:30 pm and replaced all as found.

Didn't find, I think it may have been taken, I found the suspicious rock pile, but no cache
With a few days spare before a drive trip I decided another western NSW trip was in order to go and get a few caches I had to skip last year between Canberra and West Wyalong. I had a great rest up here at the cache in the afternoon light.
Thanks.

Found by Mary & David at 0920. Definitely a hill or tor, but not a mountain. Drove to the top in the GeoPrado and parked just a few metres from GZ. Now we'll be humming "Jack and Jill" and "The Grand Old Duke of York", or muttering "around the rugged rocks" etc. Spectacular views and amazing "stegosaurus" rocks. Cache snug and dry. Saw a live and a dead fox. Our thanks to RedmondFamily.
Camped the night in the forest and cached in the morning. Great view. Thanks.
Really good hide took a while to find but also a really good view found with black legend
[:(!] Went to Griffith via West Wyalong to visit two of my grandchildren and their parents for part of the weekend, picking up a few caches along the way and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ and the cache was located, it was in hand in a matter of minutes.
I like it

3133 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1330. Decided to try and drive the Mazda3 up to have another look after a DNF in 2013. The little vehicle goes well in these conditions and we made it to the cache location without any difficulty but must say at one stage we seemed to be sliding sideways on the slope. After looking for a short time around the now very hot rocks we had the container in hand. SL Tnx RedmondFamily a favourite from us.
There are so many reasons to geocache but I think this is the number one reason, what a bloody view, the almost 360 deg views are incredible.
For the people who think they can't make it in there car we made it our i30 so have a go its totally worth it

I AM AMAZED! This was a wonderful spot to visit. Thank you to RedmondFamily for bringing us up here. I have enjoyed finding your caches, but this is the best by far. This is a cache that people should take the time to visit. This is the reason why we love caching- visiting places like this. Fav point to you.
Checked on this one today and it had definitely been muggled. We managed to find the lid, base and cache note in the bush, but not the original log.
I have replaced the cache with a newer, slightly smaller container in the original spot. Hopefully this helps is remain hidden. Please re-hide carefully.
Cache contains log, note and pencil. There is space for small swaps, TBs or TCs.
Enjoy the view! We did on our picnic today.

Thanks for the feedback, Baby and Mrs Gopher. I will check on this cache in the near future and report back.
A DNF for baby&Mrs gopher. After driving in from the north we had no difficulty in making it to the top of the hill to find there had been a gathering here at some time just recently. The suspicious pile of rocks had been strewn over the area. Searched for over 40 minutes including down the slope without success. May need a maintenance check.
Looks like a group of teenagers had a party at GZ. Had to drive through a sea of spinefex in the beginning. The view at the top was outstanding. Took the TB & SL. Left a slinky behind. TFTC
