Not having much luck today! Appears to no longer be there.
Enjoyed the drive up and the quick walk about.

Coordinates led straight to the hollow stump but alas, no cache! Searched out to 15m but no joy. Suspect the cache has been muggled.
Nice spot though, thanks for bringing me here!
Nice spot though, thanks for bringing me here!
A rough day for DNFs, sometimes that's how it goes I guess. Found a likely hide matching the clue, found bits of wood in it that may have covered a cache....but no cache. Might be worth a check by CO. Thanks anyway, a nice spot to visit.
Quick find - once we found the right road to be on nice spot but didn,t notice any Koala's just a few muggles
Visiting family for the week trying to get a lot of yellow smilies. Lovely spot. Quick find. Tftc.
we didn't see any koalas.
I found it together with The Travel fairy during our holiday in Australia.

Following reports of a soaked log (thanks everyone!), Gourmet and the Geogirls popped in to dry out the container and replace the log with a nice fresh new one. Not sure how long it will stay that way...GZ must become very wet in the rain! We also dropped in a pink shark TB for someone to help him on his way to Tahiti.
Too busy looking down to look up for koalas, I realised as I got back into the car. Oops! The GPSr was a bit bouncy, leading us first to a tree, then a large stump with a toad that jumped right up into DisSister's face . She then spotted a smaller stump to check, and found the cache. I removed all the bits of camo and pulled the cache out, only to find that the container is broken, and full of water. Signed as best we could and rescued the wet TB but it needs replacing urgently. TFTC, Gourmetgazelle. =^.^=
In desperate need of replacement. Container is broken, full of water and log is unsignable.
No koalas but DisSister had a toad jump onto her face as she searched the wrong stump. The cache was somewhat manky unfortunately. Couldn't help but admire the exposed roots cascading over the embankments as we left. Thanks Gourmetgazelle.
Cache filled with water, log saturated. We emptied the container but could do nothing for the logbook.
Exploring the area on a birthday trip away for the long weekend. This one gave us a bit of fun as we initially approached a different spot to check and instead found a toad when it jumped straight at my face! A quick look around had us retreating to the correct GZ and the cache was in hand soon after. TFTC, Gourmetgazelle.
Beautiful place that I didn't know was here. Dropped off Bart the TB who is heading south. Picked up the Butterknife TB who wants to keep moving. TFTC The log is completely waterlogged and needs a day in the sun.
Lovely sunny day, singing birds. Found cache, unfortunately was really waterlogged. Needs replacing. Beautiful spot, thanks x
Quick find in an unexpectedly beautiful location. Sadly the cache was totally waterlogged. Have emptied water out and placed paperwork at the top to drain then replaced the container into its position. Will need some TLC. TFTC.
Out and about today heading to Lismore. And now I am here.
Found after a short search. but the log book was too wet to sign.
Thanks for the cache.

What are the chances of muggles? Well I gave it half a go but the GPS-r was jumping around a bit.
Awesome hide. We like the size.
Unfortunately it is all wet and soaked with water. Requires some maintenance.
Beautiful views.

Quick find with sundance69. Container had lots of water in it, and the log is damp so didn't sign. Too many trees to have a proper lookout, but great quite spot for a pick nick. TFTC
After some careful searching around the muggle free area easy 2nd find for today
Last time I was in Lismore, I only managed to find a select few geocaches, so this trip through with Net88 provided a good opportunity to grab the last few that made it through our filters. We had enjoyed a few days farther west and were taking the scenic route home. This was our first geocache in Lismore and the GPSr sure found some odd little roads to navigate along to get us up to the lookout.
It may be no surprise I've never been here before, but it was an intriguing area - it felt uniquely old, helped along with the tree roots we parked near. The recent rains might have cleared the leaves from the immediate vicinity as it was easy to access today. A quick look and I had the geocache in hand. I added our names to the logbook before replacing and we went for a slow drive past the views and off to the next one. No koalas today. TFTC Gourmetgazelle

Captain Terror and I had been lucky enough to be able to spend a few days with some great friends at Toonumbar Dam. It was unfortunately time to head back to Brisbane, the Captain and I had agreed on taking a route that would not only keep us away from most traffic but would also pass quite a few geocaches that made it through our filters. We had left Kyogle and arrived in Lismore.
We followed the windy, steep roads up towards GZ. We had read that the terrain could be difficult so we decided the Captain was going to attempt this one and I was going to stand by for moral support. The Captain made the find without any great difficulty. Our names were added to the logbook and a photo was taken of the pretty area around the car. Thanks for the cache Gourmetgazelle.

Didn't find, looked for a decent hour, was first time looking for Cache too, try again another day and try others around time
After a few attempts to locate GZ, we parked & scrambled up the hill. Later found that Robinson Avenue was the better way. left T\B. TFTC
What a beautiful spot! And to think I've lived in the Northern Rivers for about 15 years and have never been to this beautiful spot before now.
Grandkids and I found this one a while ago. Was just looking for some new adventures and realised we didn't log it.
Word of warning - in summer and on hot summer days, do be aware the snakes like to bath in the odd sunny spot.
This is a lovely spot for a stop, relax and unwind. SO quiet and bushy, and yet right in the middle of suburbia.
DO be aware there is only one TRICKY street to get here. I would hate to be towing anything to do this one!!! Well done to negotiate it.

can someone see if my illusion trackable coin is still in this cache please?
GPS was a little flaky within 5m of GZ, but the hint made it easy, checked one or two potential spots then found the right one.
It was a real pleasure to be brought to this place I've lived in Lismore for 9 years and driven over the hill (along Esmonde) on occasion, but I've never been up Robinson. I really liked it up there, I'm intrigued that an older-style place like this is on my front doorstep. So particular thanks, Gourmetgazelle

With The Rats and I each on a family holiday in the vacinity, we decided to team up for an afternoon of cache finding.
This one took some finding, but in the end we got there.
Cheers

Two Wollongong geocachers teamed up to find a few of the local Northern Rivers caches today. We stopped here where I soo realised that I'd been here before. After a lengthy search we finally made the hint fit the location.
Thanks
Thanks
Gourmet was out for an early morning walk, aiming vaguely for this cache. It seemed that for a second time the hilly dead ends that Ryeballkong battled up were to defeat me, but at the top of one, I discovered a ridiculously steep goat track that took me right to the lookout gates. Cache was a bit wet inside. I emptied out water, but had nothing to dry it with. Discovered geocoin, but mistakenly logged it as retrieved. Should be rectified now.
For all those on foot like us-
1. Drive
2. Have a massive bottle of water with you
3. Don't have a pre-existing heart condition
To save you all an hour of trekking through a very hilly labyrinth of dead end streets, try going up Robinson Avenue!
Cute spot, TFTC

Navigated a number of treacherous multiple-point turns on very steep narrow streets which had dead ends was not fun with trailer in tow!! Eventually discovered that (contrary to the map) the only street that connected to Robinson Ave was Esmonde. Kids found cache easily and we enjoyed this lovely park and some cool swaps. Now on towards Ballina. TFTC
Were back in Fergclan Country.
Booked in at the caravan park now its off to find a few caches.
Took longer to find the road up the hill than to find the cache.
Swapped TBs
Thanks for placing this cache Gourmetgazelle

What a great park up here. I also had trouble finding my way up the hill but it was well worth the effort. Dropped TB which will hopefully bring others up as well. Thanks Gourmetgazelle.
So, the hardest thing about this one was finding the road up to the lookout!! How frustrating that was. It was a lovely big container, but not many swaps, so we put extras, but would be worthwhile for littlies if this was topped up.
The Qurlz- we found it yeterday , after our 2nd try, fantastic spot, love the seeking
# 6248 Found on our 2013 winter escape trip to Qld.
Stopped at Lismore for a few days and a good look around.
No muggles or koalas around here today and another quick find logged and off again.
Another day of the 31 day challenge completed as well.
TN LN SL. Thanks for the cache Gourmetgazelle,
Roostaman.

No Koalas in sight, no mugglers around, searced a few locations before the cache was in hand, thanks for taking me up to this spot.
Great spot and easy find. Cache was low so we added and will try and come back with more.
Great spot that I didn't know existed. Cache was easy to find but not a lot of swaps. Left one item. Will try and come back to add some more to the cache. Mozzies.
Had a look, GPS took a while to settle. Found what looked like the perfect spot. Matched the description, but alas, no cache.

Picked Josh up after school and we headed on up to get this cache.
Lovely area and very nice cache. Me and Josh played a game of 'I think it's there' before we got to the exact area

This cache brought us up to a lovely park on top of the hill with lovely views. A great place for a cache. Thanks for bringing us here Gourmetgazelle and for hiding a cache here. Our GPS took a few minutes to settle but then we found the cache safe and happy in its home.
I have been so excited to get a chance to find gourmetgazelle's first, and if we didn't have 2 tired children in the car which was rapidly filling with blood gorged mozzies, I probably could have found this all on my own. But a little prodding in the right direction by gourmet soon saw the cache in my hands. Didn't get sight of any koalas today. Took tb. Tftc!
A great location for a really good cache. It was a pleasure to drive up to the magnificent views of Lismore. Well one , gourmetgazelle. Left TB, Took nothing.
Took cache out of action for a few hours to dry it out (though log was still intact!) and drop in a lovely PAWS TB. Now all good.
