We walked from the River Vu CP to Ocean Beach snagging this one en route. Look out for the mozzies. Tftc
We went out for a day's caching with Super Pop around the Nelsen- Port Macdonnell area trying to clean up a few caches around here as well as enjoying a lovely pub lunch at Port Macdonnell.
We are still slowly collecting this series that were placed for the Big Little Event and today with the icy wind and the threatening storm clouds we were only picking up ones that didn't require long walks from the car and this one fitted the bill. Super Pop took the honour here and had the cache in hand before we had even gotten out of the car and we added our names to the log.
We will return another day to do the walk at the end of this road when the weather is much better than today.
Thanks jgc3 for the cache.

Came for a drive to the Mount from Beachport and ended up at Port Mac and Nelson as well on a lovely day. Had stopped here to have lunch then had a bit of a drive and collected a few caches along the way. [^]

Found with Liz and Bruce on a good day for caching. Another nice view from here. We appreciated the hint too.
We ventured to Nelson this morning with Alansee to do some of the caches which we knew we would enjoy in this scenic location and we were not disappointed. We encountered emus and kangaroos on the forest tracks but luckily not too close up We found a variety of hides and thanks to jgc3 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
While I travelled around Australia,
I also found this nice cache.
Thanks for it!

As Biggles of Oz mentioned, it was a long trek to this one and when I got there (and I don't remember saying 'are we there yet') I was hoping for an impressive cache, not impressive but a cache nevertheless.

We were walking around town today picking up a few caches here and there when I decided to coax Mrs B to the ocean beach by surreptitously dangling the cache as bait to get her to walking along the road from Nelson. It worked but by the time we got there Mrs B was decidedly grumpy and would not entertain the next cunning plan I had to walk the length of the beach, around to the inlet and back into Nelson again. Anyway we found this cache enroute although I was tiring of Mrs B's constant chorus of "Are we there yet?". I guess pounding along the bitumen on a very hot day is not her idea of fun!

after coming into nelson and putting the tent up. I decided that gz here was a better place to have my very late dinner than the camp ground.
Travelling on holiday with Purrfect Di, son Alex, geoson Sebastbat and Jack the monkey.
Slow and steady finds all the caches.
Nice views

We found this one while we were bushing camping down at Mclennons punt! After a VERY wet Thursday, Friday and Saturday we decided that Saturday night called for a meal and a few beers at the pub! With my little cousins in tow, soon to be cachers I hope, we jumped out of the car and rushed around hunting! I was pretty confident of the gz immediately but the girls launched a huge hunt and eventually came upon their second piece of 'treasure!' So adorable! Tftc
A quick find, after a slight shower of rain, nice views all round, Thanks jq3 for the cache. SL

We had an overnight stop at Nelson so headed out to find as many of the BLE as possible. This gave us a small tiki our of the town.

A quick find after visiting the ocean beach. The road to river "beach" was under salt water so didn't cross it this time, leaving the 4 there to next visit. Thanks jgc3.
We had just been down to Nelson fishing off the jetty, geokids had a ball, they fairly much fed the fish as we could see them all swimming around, the geokids kept pulling the rods up in the hope that a fish would hook on but with not much luck. We had a picnic BBQ. A lovely day out with the family. We love when GeoDad is here with us too. When we were done we decided to have a look around, and along this road we came across this cache. TFTC
Found on the way to the Estuary. View not too bad.

Dropped in to sign the log book here on the return journey from Mt Gambier. I initially tried searching with just the in-dash navigation system in my car, but ended up firing up the GPS and then eventually resorted to the hint to find the well hidden cache some metres from my indicated GZ.
Thanks

# 6858. The first full day caching in the area with Robmc and The Morris and we head towards Nelson intending to boat up the Glenelg River to Princess Margaret Rose caves and return.
This was indeed an easy find as it way lying in full view as we walked up. Added our names and tried to camouflaged it a little better and now we continue on to Livingston Island.
Thanks jgc3

Off on a short three hour cruise with The Morris and BettyBoo3747. Drove down to Nelson and went for a short walk around Livingston Island, then a cruise up the Glenelg River into SA, then back to Vic, did a quick earth cache, then back to SA, then back to Vic - boy, do we get around or what? [:-}
BB spotted this one from the car, not sure it was supposed to be that exposed!
A nice view from here though.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found on our long weekend in the Portland area. Today we took the boat down to travel up the Glenelg river and we managed to get a couple of caches along the way.

Our 2nd time looking here and that definitely wasn't there last time we were here!
Wow! Definitely some lovely views from here! Will have to make sure we bring the camera next time to get some shots.
Found on our "Making Memories" tour of Mainland Australia.
Today we explored Mount Gambier and surrounds with Whitewebbs using geocaching as our guide.
Many thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.

Found this cache with Tassie Trekkers while caching in the pouring rain around Mt Gambier. Left pathtag. TFTC
Having finished our walk just as the rain started, we were happy to draw up at this GZ in the 'safety' of the car. The cache was visible as we pulled up. Otherwise, everything all good. TN, left Easter chick, SL. Returned to slightly less visible spot. T4TC. Happy Easter!
