Blundo Busters I didnt find your cache Train Spotter - Railway Terrace 2 on 13/10/2024, 5:22pm. Nope, searched but nothing found.
Fortunately I had the two tools I needed to extract this. Cache and log are good. TFTC Blundo Busters.
Found with AussieBrian, EveristHigh, BrewMaster and Nibletricecakes during the nearby event. It was great to add another smiley to the Sydney map. TFTC.
Almost beyond reach but with the dab hand of EverestHigh, the cache was collected and signed. Thanks to BlunoBusters.
Made a quick stop here to grab the cache on the way to the event. Used some natural tools to get it out. All good here.Thankyou for placing and maintaining the cache and allowing me to discover a new area.TFTCGeneric overly-detailed summation of the day:Weather report: sunny and quite warmCaching conditions: minimal muggles due to the areas I was caching in, GPS satellites talking nicely to my phoneSnack situation: dismal: sugar free redbull, leftover prawn chips and a banana big M. I still didnt eat my apples. Public toilet status: a bit few and far between. The only option for the day was the Lake Macquarie shopping Center loos which are quite good and have soap. Munzee distractions: none today, kinda forgot about them.Weirdos encountered: no human weirdos, but I did see one snake! Just a little one but a snake all the same.("`-''-/").___..--''"`-._ `6_ 6 ) `-. ( ).`-.__.`) (_Y_.)' ._ ) `._ `. ``-..-' _..`--'_..-_/ /--'_.' ((((.-'' ((((.' (((.-' geocat says HI
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Hoping to collect some previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some Adventure Labs, and accumulate enough cache finds with our mini seven day streak for this month’s "Wheel of Challenges" (medium) souvenir. Photos will be uploaded to some (most) logs on our return to home base.
Today (day 2) started with an exploration of the area around Riverstone, collecting some Traditional caches and going for a walk around the Riverstone CBD for an Adventure Lab and it's associated AL Bonus cache, but sadly there was also several DNFs. After lunch we headed up to Richmond for a four stage MultiCache and a couple of Traditional caches. This was the 2nd of 15 finds for the day (day 2), and 9th find of the holiday.
After two DNFs in a row we next arrived at this one, and thankfully it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. Had to use a locally sourced TOTT to extract the cache container from it's home. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Blundo Busters.

Stopped by on my way back from an Intro to Agility class nearby with mizmutt. Leaving her in the car while I safely ducked between the traffic (she’s not ready for that yet), spot on co-ords and a flash of colour just within reach (literally “just” with the use of tweezers), a spider-webby covered cache was quickly in hand.
Good Friday find with Microchip and Surfrash.
Cunning hide. Bring along some thin wire

It's been a while between trainspotters. Fortunately had a useful tool for extraction after seeing a possible spot. Seems there's a few recent 'finders' missing from the log. Thanks Blundo Busters.
Avenged a DNF and found, but I didn’t want to risk screwing it up by pushing it in further
Haha 2nd find for today and for the beginning of my geo cache adventures!!
Names added and retrieval device upgraded!
Cheers BlundoBusters!!

Out with Mrs Williams and our GeoChild today smashing these finds! Unlucky for me, this one was tricky for me, I saw it but didn't realise it was the cache lol
OCW aubeasty today to try and bring my yearly numbers back up before the end of the year. COVID, no NSW mega and more work than usual have meant that my numbers haven’t been crash hot. A lovely sunny day made the perfect way to rectify this situation, mostly by bike.
aubeasty made a quick find here, which was great considering how hot it was by this time in the arvo.

Spotted it almost instantly but can see how it would take a while with untrained eyes

Well, this was harder than it needed to be. I knew where GZ was immediately, I just expected it to be located in a certain way on a certain piece of equipment.
In the end, a quick look a cache pictures had me going, wait, what’s that?
Oh okay, and what’s this? Oh okay, I see a certain colour that probably shouldn’t be there. What if I pull this? Oh okay, cache in hand.
A nice little cache.
Thanks for the hide!

A quick find thanks to good coords. However, the container was found out in the open with its lid missing. We replaced it into a hidey hole to keep the logsheet out of the weather. TFTC
#747;- First TrainSpotter cache we've found in a while - fairly easy Park & Grab - TFTC

I usually don't have much luck with Train Spotter caches - don't know why, because I enjoy what they're about. However, today I was lucky (or maybe just more observant!)
Thank you, Blundo Busters

To complete the final stage of my Night at the Museum challenge, I needed a few more caches. This series on and around Richmond Road has been on my radar for a long time, so now it is the time to dust off my foldable push bike and get going.
This was the last cache on the way home. Good hide! TFTC

Great little hide. Brilliant little cache. Mind the farmers friends though. I got covered.
Another day OCW marj01. After a very early start from the eastern subs we arrived at Ebenezer at first light to commence the day. During the course of the day we visited 69 trads, 4 multis, 2 puzzle and 2 letterbox caches. With only a handfull of dnfs it was a successfull day, with the majority of the caches being found in a reasonably short time. Thanks to all the COs for hiding and maintaining their caches and providing us with a fun day. Cheers oldmorty.
GPS jumped around a little bit but got it reasonably quickly, and saw a train in the process! TFTC
Our 16th find on our family geocache day today!
Perfect little hide! Miss 8 spotted it right away!

The hottest day ever I think that we have headed out caching - even the bison tubes were piping hot We tried to choose the cooler parts of the day but it did not quite work. This was one we were able to find. Thanks to Blundo Busters for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
The ninth of 17 finds from Dean Park to Schofields.
This could be my easiest BB find yet.

#3303 - Nearly gave up. May have poked it in when my initial investigations were undertaken. But that spot kept niggling me to try again and there it was all along. #3302 - Quick find by the racing geobike. Pity about the local tradie dumping ground. Many thanks to CO **Blundo Busters** for a local cache requiring establishment and maintenance. Nice spot.
This was the second of 11 caches found during an afternoon caching trip with my family, Sensible Shoes and Shoes Junior. I don't think Daddy's too comfortable doing this on the main road.
This was the second of 11 caches found during an afternoon caching trip with my family, Sensible Shoes and Little Shoes. I helped Dad find this one, and we saw a couple of police cars go past with their lights and sirens on.
Found with Coybear2000. We were in the area and decided to go for this one. We walked to GZ and spotted the hide very quickly. TFTC
Another one with Trodectus. Arrived GZ and very quickly had CIH. Log signed and replaced. TFTC
Standing behind geo-gangstas I managed to still spot it first. One small detail in the shadow stood out. TFTC!
