Logs
#2610After enjoying the event at the Rouse Hill Town Centre, I went in search of this cache. Arrived at GZ on my bike and soon found the container. The lid is missing however the log is dry.Nice to tick this one off that's been sitting on my map for a while. Thanks for the geo-fun Morley196.
Out with morty8888 for another days caching; today around The Hills District. After a short walk along Windsor Road it was morty8888 who spotted the prize. TFTC
OCW Oldmorty in the Hills area in 34 degree heat meant quick finds would be the aim. A very quick find a wet log so Oldmorty generously added a new waterproof log paper. TFTC!
Out for a bike ride picking up local caches this afternoon. I looked all over for quite a while but it still took a long time to be found. No idea why. Also the cache was found eventually!! Tftc!! Log book damaged. Please replace.
very water damaged. took a bit to find, felt stupid after i spent so long looking for it
Had a nice walk in the park and decided to try find this cache. Was an easy find but couldnt sign due to state of the cache.
Found easily enough. Writing on the log was another matter. Wet inside and includes an ants nest
A timely find as we mourn the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Log is hard to write on. Quick find otherwise. Long live The King. TFTC
Tftc! Quick spot but couldnt sign logbook as it was completely destroyed and rotting .
Venturing this morning to do a bit of geocaching, spotted quickly, good camo. TFTC
Out for a morning stroll and hopefully a few caches. Started out on path under bridge realised were going to have to go around. Found GZ, quick find of what looks like a 3d cache? Thanks for maintaining the cache

Too little exercise when working from home so this Friday later afternoon I drove to nearby Beaumont Hills for a few caches and some much needed exercise.
I passed this spot many times in the car. This time around, on my walk around the reserve I took a slight detour for this cache. As the cars rushed by, I stood on the safe side of the barrier and soon found another one of Morley196 signature caches!
TFTC!

Doh too easy. Knew what I was looking for to just gave up before I found it last time
All was good today as we found a few caches around the local area. This was a nice easy find and signing duties were soon done, the cache was replaced and we moved on. Good looking cache container too. TFTC.
A day tour to Kellyville took us to this place. The hardest issue was to come from the correct direction by car, it actually took quite some time to find a close parking spot. The cache itself was an quick find.
Today we headed back out to the Rouse Hill area, having only been there last Sunday whilst riding on the new Sydney Metro driverless train, to help celebrate Calypso62’s 10th anniversary of Geocaching at his “A Decade of Discoveries” Event being held at the Ettamogah Hotel in Kellyville Ridge. Unfortunately the new Metro was closed for maintenance today, and so we ended up having a somewhat longer journey on a rail replacement bus, arriving at the Rouse Hill Interchange just before midday. With better weather than last week, and the Event not starting until 3 PM, we spent the time visiting some caches as we walked from Rouse Hill down to the Ettamogah Hotel at Kellyville Ridge. This was the 5th of 6 finds for the day.
Still with a little bit of time left to kill before the Event we took a short walk from the Ettamogah Hotel down Windsor Road, to the intersection of Old & New Windsor Roads, to have a look at this cache. And a brief search of the most likely spots soon saw us with CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Thanks Morley196 for the history & cache.

Parking has always been a challenge for us, but today we were able to find a place and find the cache.tftc.
No royalty around here, just lots of bogans. Thankfully I was able to make the find and make a quick escape. TFTC
In the 15 months or so that we have been living in the area, we have often taken this road to the Hawkesbury (Windsor and beyond), and have noted how the elevated railway has been progressing. Quite an impressive project which will hopefully relieve some of the traffic congestion between the Hills and the CBD in Sydney.
And many a time I have come past here and had a little squint in the general area of GZ, wondering where I could park to make the grab. However, nothing obvious presented itself and I finally resorted to looking at a map to see what would be convenient.
Thus, parked in a quiet street nearby, I came past here on foot with my son on our way to Rouse Hill where we planned on playing a Wherigo. The GPSr counted down the metres, and it was my son who made the find. Very excitedly, he grabbed the container and held it up for my inspection.
After the log had been signed, I let him return the container. I did made sure that it was back in place as I would have hidden it. All good for the next finder. And finally that little box on the GPRr's map turned into a yellow smiley.
