Spent a short time searching but had no luck. Will try again when back in the area. Thanks anyway.
On a two day caching trip with Ryan Girls and muggle starlight. All we found at this site unfortunately was an ant's nest
Not Found lots of new undergrowth around base of tree, which I was not prepared to trample.
A plan was hatched to go and pick up some caches in Tumut over the weekend with Rapidlywild.
So after work we set out on the trek.
All checked in to our abode for the weekend we decided to head out again and clear up some caches around town.
Changed our attack plan on this one as the local dogs decided to let it be known that we were there. When arriving at the other entrance we soon had the cache in hand and on our way again.

Plans were put into place for a weekend down at Tumut with one party of the FurfacesLL ladies. We headed off Friday after work and came home Sunday afternoon. We had a great weekend wandering around Tumut and surrounds seeing lots of things. The rivers were all flowing nicely and they were very clear. If it was hotter, im sure we would have taken a dip
Approached from the wrong end initially, the nearby dogs were going crazy, so we got back in the car and went around the other side. With the houses nearby, we felt pretty exposed searching for this one as we didnt wanna wake the neighbours.
Thanks Spitsta for the placement of this cache[^]

Day nine of our High Country holiday. Another sunny day at Tumut with Bettyboo3747
Got out the deadly treadlies for a relative early morning ride along the river and wetlands.(again!)
We then travelled down to the dam wall at Blowering for some caches.
Then back for a dip in the creek - must be beer O'clock!.
We noticed the street name, but what we didn't notice was that it didn't go right through. We ended up with a bit of a walk across a narrow bridge.
Fortunately, there was a cache at the end of our walk.
Last of the day - time for a swim now.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 9996. After riding around the bike track and the wetlands this morning and quite a late breakfast and start to the day we decided to go out towards Blowering Reservoir for some sight-seeing and caching along the way. Managed 19 finds and the usual few DNF's (this time it was 2). Finished off the day with our swim in the river at the Caravan Park. Most enjoyable.
I have a couple of Coolabah caches myself. We walked along the dirt track to GZ, found it quickly and now it is time to return to the caravan park for cool drinks and a soak in the river.
Thanks Spitsta

Had a good long look in what we think was the right place, but couldn't find it. Tons of grasshoppers and one big spider about.
Quick find. Hope we didn't look too suspicious to the people living nearby!
Nice spot here. We parked the wrong side but it was a nice walk, including over a rickety bridge. TFTC
In Tumut today to find a few caches before heading back to Canberra this afternoon. It was raining but we soldiered on in our wet weather gear. We parked at the far end and made the short walk to the GZ. A quick find with Chocolistick03. Thanks ozpirate.
4343 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1420. Being a holiday Monday, we decided that a drive up into the hills might be a great way to spend the day. Left The Rock and headed this way. It is such a nice day and looks like getting better as it warms up. Saw some ice on the track on the shadow side of one cutting. We came via Oberne Creek road and enjoyed the scenery. Left Batlow and headed north to Tumut. We finished up a short walk from here so it wasn't quite a drive by. SL left TB took coin Tnx Spitsta
Found while visiting family in the area while on holiday from Scotland. TFTC
We decided on a trip to Tumut, as there were a lot of roadside caches to pick up along the way.
A nice sunny day, with very little cloud which made the views spectacular.
Cache was found quickly, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Spitsta, for us and others to find.

Went for a whole day bike ride with dad today to get the local Tumut caches. Many were found with only a couple DNF's!
Found quickly in the spot suggested by the cache name! Thanks for replacing the log J+J.au still in good condition

Quickly located, changed log scroll as it was full, galahs here are really noisy. TFTC
After setting up at the Bowering Caravan Park we set off to do some caches. At first it was so hot and then down came heavy rain. We got pretty wet while getting this cache but we enjoyed the experience of caching in this pretty town. Thanks to Spitsta for placing this cache.
Lovely spot. I found the cache in the first place I looked, but on the second time I looked there, as I was looking for a small cache (as listed), while this one is a micro. It’s a lovely spot for a cache, but a more waterproof cache is needed here. TFTC Spitsta.
Found on our Tumut trip. Parked at the wrong end of the road for this one - we came from the wrong direction, so we didn't realise that there was parking right next to the cache. So we ended up walking 100m in what was a lovely piece of bushland, with tadpoles swimming in the nearby creek. It also involved walking over a really cool bridge. Once at GZ, while avoiding getting in the sight of muggles it was a quick find. TFTC Spitsta!
[:(!] Went for a weekend caching run, left Wagga about 5.30am and did a circuit through Adelong, Tumut and Gundagai arriving back at Wagga about 6.30pm the following day and breaking the journey by spending the night in Tumut, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

A nice little collection of trees, on yet another road that looks like it could be driven according to my map. A super quick find when I spotted it immediately after getting out of the car, partly luck I think! Thanks Spitsta.
6495 + 821 = 7316. Found during a run through the Tumut region.
Next stop for the day and I did the long walk in (??) for this one - a quick find at GZ.
Thanks again Spitsta !!

A quick and easy find under the 'Coolibah'
Once a jolly geocacher cycled by a billabong,
Under the shade of a coolibah tree
And he sang as he watched and waited 'till the cache was found.
You'll come a-Waltzing Matilda, with me ?
I was glad that the squatters, 1, 2, 3 were not at home nearby

Parked right up to GZ which was pretty convenient as a bloke was across the road spraying weeds, so the car made good cover.
Quick grab and sign, thanks for the cache Spitsta.

Found while going for an early morning run and the temperautre and humdity were already too warm. The nearby overweight fox terrier kept barking as I ran in, stopped and admired the tree, wondered where I would hide the cache, found the cache , signed and rehid the cache and ran off, the dog just wouldn't stop, surely a muggle would have to see me. Coolabah St is the ideal running st with a variety of surfaces, but I do wonder how long the trees will be left alone to grow in the middle of the street. Thanks Spitsa for the cache.
Today we drove from Wagga to Tumut picking up caches on the way.
The drive has been pleasant & the caches have been well maintained.
Even picked up a couple of FTF at Tumut.

Nice part of Tumut we had not seen before.
Cache was an easy find with no neighbours to disturb us.
Thanks to Spitsa for the challenge.

Tumut 2012 with Sol de Lune. Poor old Tomtom was not aware of the missing roads around here, but we arrived in one piece and found the cache a little oddly hidden, but a find was a find. Thanks.

What a night!! I need to not do night time finds! Found gz had bugs flying at me left right and centre did a dance trying to get them out of my top, fell over, had a scream must have alerted neighbors, lights came on curtains opened, I then had bugs caught in my hair... We get back in the car and exited with no cache but yet another bug trying the escape with me!
Yep, it is a good name and place for a cache. ManGecko couldn't tear his eyes off the nearby '57 Caddy. TFTH
