Ok this one was a bit of a tricky one at GZ. After getting past the distraction I continued on to the location. Fairly easy find. TFTC.
I was scratching around for a plan last night to help in my quest for a twenty eight day streak this month. I was checking out my statistics and noticed that i wasnt all that far off the 360 degrees challenge so decided to put together a list of caches to complete it. I am tackling that list today with what may end up being a bit of an epic tour. This morning i got up way before i usually do, packed drinks and snacks, geopooch and tott, and got underway. Wish me luck!
There are a lovely couple of distractions on this fun search, thankfully it didnt take too long to sort it out though. It was then time for a cuppa and a snack, luckily I had both in the geomobile ready to go. Thanks for the fun and the nice quiet location.

Shepparton & Euroa is an area that we often drive through but has never been a destination. This Kings birthday long weekend we made it our destination to tick off some caches in the area

I got a bit cocky with this one and left my phone in the car. I know my maths so it had me stumped when thinking at gz there was no cache. My buddy who had already found this cache, walked in the opposite direction so when I saw the grin on his face I knew I was off the mark. Cache was soon in hand, log signed (which is full) and replacedTFTC
Driving to Wagga after a few weeks in Warrnambool. Thanks for bringing us to this spot. Very interesting. TFTC

This cache would seem to have had some welcomed action on behalf of the CO by a Good Samaritan - 'firesafe ', so it fortunately lives for another day.
Please remember that cache maintenance arrangements need to be proactive, not reactive. This means regular visits (by the CO) to check on the cache and not relying on or expect passing seekers to fix issues or replace missing caches.
Even though a Good Samaritan has addressed the issue, there is still a need to remove the "Needs Maintenance" attribute - see here: [**Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon.**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and then Enable the cache - see this link: [**Temporarily Disable and Enable**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235) .
**I've removed the NM attribute and Enabled the cache for you on this occasion.**

TFTC. morris1100 for your cache Euroa - The Arboretum that we found today.
We are staying at our daughter’s farm block just about mid way between Shepparton and Violet Town. A lovely start to to the week with sunshine. Went out driving to Longwood and then back via Euroa, caching as we went. It has been a longtime since we have been this way. We did a stint at a BlazeAid camp in Longwood after fires and I (Hans) had done many miles cycling out this way.
All caches were found in good order and mostly quickly. Saw that this was recently replaced so made a quick find.
Find Count: 16292

Hi there morris1100,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so the cache is being temporarily disable - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond to this enquiry in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache to check, repair, replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers (more's the pity), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
You need to post a note to the page (within 14 days) explaining the situation and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
Be sure to indicate **the actual date that you expect to have it fixed** so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please **post a Write Note log every 4 to 6 weeks,** so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, it's better for you to decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,
Bunjil

DNF. Plenty of obvious hiding spots but no luck. Would assume the there is no connection to the lock box.
DNF for this one, We looked at all the likely spots you would/could hide a cache around near GZ, Found a lock box also looked at previous logs for any hints. . morris1100.

Found with jo_ace. As they said, after a good dinner and before a long-iso drive home to Melbourne.
On my way to get my giedog from the vet after surgery. Sneaky sneaky. Spent way to much time trying to get it. Tftc.
Tricky tricky! We tried the number over and over then found the cache. Thanks
Stopping in Euroa on the way home from the mega.
It’s hard to believe it, but we’ve actually been here before. We came here about 12 years ago for my wife’s grandpop’s 90th birthday. On that morning, we had had an ultrasound for our first child during the morning before heading up here. We had just found out we were having a girl and we chose her name on the way up.
Thanks for the cache morris1100

The day has finally arrived! It’s time to head to the MEGA. On the way I stopped in to grab some caches in the Strathbogie LGA before arriving at the campground in Wangaratta.
Once I found the correct side to be on I spotted the cache and its large cache guardian. Navigating its protector, I soon had the log signed and was on my way.
Thanks morris1100 for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

Thank you morris1100, for creating, placing and maintaining this cache. I have enjoyed finding it and visiting this spot... while attending the mega
The safe threw us off and then I read the hint and remembered that I spotted something of that sort

Day one of the Wangaratta oddessey with AlphaDeltaIndigo and Ying~Yang. Melbourne to Mt Buller, started in the heat, ended in the cold, but still somehow muggy all along the way. We mostly focussed on trands today, with a few multi's here and there.

Found the key safe 1st and thought about what the code could be. Then we looked a little further and realised the key safe had nothing to do with the hide. ?? On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting & detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. ?? TFTC morris1100

Found out caching with Wollaston on a slow meander north. GPS had us looking at what we thought was a field puzzle until we looked a bit harder
Container condition good
Log condition lots of room
Thanks to CO’s for taking time to set out and maintain hides and for showing us your very special part of the world
Log signed in first open spot with stamp

We stopped for a few caches our way home from visiting a friend in Euroa. Sneaky little hide. Thanks morris1100.
Would never have come here if not for a cache, had a pleasant walk after finding the stash, tftc
Nice spot surprised how busy it was, had to wait a few minutes before the quick find. TFTC
Have never stopped here before although have been along here countless times. TFTC
Found with relative ease. Made difficult by there being more than one of a particular something
Saw the hint and then saw the number and began to search. D'oh didn't realise there were two sets of numbers and to trust the gps coordinates. Found it and signed the log before my journey homewards. TFTC
A road trip up to Mulwala with day1976, we cached our way up. Had the kayak on the roof, for some water fun tomorrow.
We thought it was the master lock!
We thought it was the master lock!
Ilukaperi and I had decided on a road trip up to Mulwala. There is an empty family home there, which I needed to check on and so we strapped the kayak to the roof and loaded up some snacks and made our way there once she finished work. But on the way we stopped to grab quite a few caches that all help us with different challenges we are working on.
We spent an innordinate amount of time thinking this was a very cool cache container that we needed to work out a field puzzle to unlock to retrieve the log book. Turns out, no, thats not the cache.
Oh well.

Found while moving from Melbourne to Canberra. I was very keen to stop of here on the way up, as I had heard a lot about the direct seeded grassland section of the Euroa Arboretum. It was as impressive as I expected, but would love to come back during peak flowering. The seed production area was also amazing, I loved the plastic mound idea for enable collection every seed. Unfortunately I didn't get to stay as long as I wanted, as a very ominous cloud was coming over, threatening some big rain. Thanks for the cache morris1100, I hope to come back!
(Sorry to the cache owner for a very late log. At the time of finding I had a lot going on, including escaping Melbourne lockdown, getting a new job, preparing to move states, quitting a job I loved, and preparing to leave my dog, all which meant getting very slack with logging).

Staying a couple of nights in town, this was an easy find. Now to explore the arboretum
On my way home and had marked a few interesting caches to search for plus many random distractions enroute.
This was a tricky find but shouldnt have been.
Thanks to morris1100 for the placement and fun.

Found with Kittykatch on a pretty chilly but lovely day. We have been to Victoria for a funeral and now on our way back. Great to stop in the town and see some of the history. First time I have stopped here and glad to have made the effort. Would have liked a bit more time but did not get all the caches so good reason to come back. TFTC morris1100

#5844 9th for today
Logs stamped as "Kayak Cachers".
On a trip down to Euroa Victoria with Geosnag1 and CBRChic. Great to get away from Canberra where it is hot & smoky. Great to breathe some fresh air. We were down to help a friend celebrate their 250th parkrun on Saturday morning, but the rest of the weekend was ours to geocache as we chose. Saturday arvo was grabbing a few around Euroa while Sunday was spend on Nagambie Lakes doing part of the VNL kayak cache trail. I had been expecting to find a string a died out ponds given the current drought conditions. I was very pleasantly surprised by what we found. This is a magnificent trail with plenty of water and an abundance of bird-life. I loved all the little "islands" (stumps) each one unique and usually sprouting plant-life. We don't have enough time to complete the train this trip so we will arrange a return with support in the near future.
I was a bit disappointed with the arboretum, I guess it is early days.
Thanks morris1100
