Bit of Bush bashing from the last one. Nice to hit the ground again. Found with Greg. Cheers!
Cache 473 Took a quick trip out to otatara with the and made a dash for this one while the weather held up, never realised there was such a climb to get up here from the reserve park, so after a pant pant wheeze we had to go down, I’m not going to like the return trip lol, anyway cache was a nice easy find and in great condition Rock bug added to cache T4TC
No its walking through native forest. My favorite. Got this one snagged and tagged. Cheers.
Friday 30 October. Its exploring Sandy Point again today.
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

We were spotted by muggles who asked what we were doing. Pleased to say they will start their own geocaching adventure soon
Decided that with overseas trips on hold to spread out my annual leave and take a long weekend away from Dunedin. It was a chance to head to down and see some caching friends and go out caching in an area which is very green on the app map.
As it was a lovely day I decided to head down to the spit to go for a few long walks and grab some caches. A lovely day and dodged muggles looking for the caches.
Thanks to all of the COs, I smashed out the last 100 points (and more) for the memory lane souvenir collection.

[NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) is definitely happening, but has been postponed until 2021. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 22 to 25 October 2021. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20+ years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20+ years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* All the 20s and now 21 as well!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](http://nzmega.com) - you won't want to miss it!

Had to double back onto this one as no phone coverage ment I couldn't read the hint, may have to start downloading more before I start so I don't have this problem in the future TFTC MATM
Back again on the loop track, doggie needs her walks! Much easier find than yesterday tftc
Needed to come into town today, so left muggy hubby behind so I could blitz some caches that friends have found without me.
Definitely the app that's been the problem over the last hour. Standing on top and it thinks I should be 12m away. Though could be the fact that I'm down to below 10% battery. That'll teach me to come into town without power bank and to remember to plug it in while I come in.
Thanks for the smilie.

Down in Invercargill with the Manawatu U15 Championship boys hockey team for the tournament this week, and plenty of caching. Out on a morning walk around the Daffodil Loop track with the team manager and some of the boys from the team. A few of the boys wanted to push ahead to find this one so gave them the hint and they disappeared along the track. However they missed it and so the tail-enders ended up with the find. Think the coordinates might be slightly out, however the hint means that this is not really a problem. Thanks again bladesedge.
I don't know where the people are toady. The carpark was full but we had the track to ourselves. Found the GZ and found the cache. SL and returned cache to place. tftc
These tracks were my playground 20 years ago when we lived in Otatara. Live cantby now but back fir work and little reminder of how special this area is. Tftc

Our co-ords were about 10m out here but thanks to the hint we had a hand on the cache quickly. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
I decided to go down towards Sandy Point to pick up a few caches. I had a nice walk looking for daffodils as well as the odd cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
After a long day travelling due to cancelled flights, and delayed flights it was nice to get out and have a walk in the fresh air grabbing some caches. Right where the clue said it would be. TFTC
Found exactly where the hint suggested. Beginning to rain heavily now and we didn't bring waterproofs.
Added swag. TFTC

Sixth and last cache found during my 90 minute walk around the Daffodil Loop. It wasn't under the last bend for me. Cheers bladesedge. TFTC
Another great series, to get us out of the motor home. We spent 4 hours, total in this area, putting in 6.5 miles, per Garmin, today and are now resting comfortably for the night in Balclutha. Thanks for all the caches!
Nice to be here early in the morning before too many people are out and about to be able to spend time on my knees groping underneath and not worry about been caught out.
We had to abort our mission on this one due to a muggle on the track, who turned out to be not such a muggle but we didn't know as we were walking towards her. We decided to go on to the second one then come back, as we passed we looked back and saw her crouched down right at GZ, hmmm
Found in reverse. Knelt at a couple of places, a few bends on the tracks. Retreated to out of view place to sign log. Was to replace shortly when dog alerted me to couple walking the track with surreptitious phone in hand, sat and waited till alone again to place cache. Came across same couple at #2 Daff seated with pen in hand. No guesses. TFTC
Cache safe and dry. Pencil needs sharpening. Added SWAG. Cold deal for kneeling down in the frost! Thanks.
Found on our 25 day New Zealand South Island holiday.
Apologies for the late log but with little or no internet as we travelled and only super slow WiFi in van parks I decided to log all finds on my return home.
two night stopover in Invercargill, found while out on a morning adventure

Found but it appeared it had fallen from its perch. So made sure it was well up and out of danger from getting wet. Thanks Grace04. We were not aware at the time that it was the cacher immediately before us who left this. We left a small token trade in exchange.
Found on a fairly energetic walk ... well, as energetic as Ma monsta gets these days. TFTC.
We have been wanting to knock off the Daffodil Loopy caches for some time and thought today would be a good day to have a crack. Really enjoyed the walk, had some trouble with the GPS bouncing round a bit but got there in the end. Cheers and TFTC
Beautiful winter's day out Geocaching at Sandy Point. We got dropped off at 8:30am and picked up at 5pm, and set out trying to get as many caches as possible on foot. 24.9km later (we did walk around in circles a bit!) and we had most of the caches out here found and logged, apart from a few that were inaccessible due to logging or the tides and one DNF. TFTC!
A couple of half days down south. Lots of new caches since I was here last. Thanks for hiding them!
Not much on today so decided to get these Loopy's off our list of things to do.
Quick find. Picked up TB. T4TC

After we retrieved the container we could already hear some muggles. So quick signature in the logbook, but then we had to walk on and wait for them to disappear before we could rehide the cache. TFTC
