Found this on the alternative trail on the way back up. Signs suggest that this trail doesn't exist, but it is in good condition and returns you to basically the same spot you started. So glad to have found this little set of trails and lookouts.Very quiet today, basically nobody about. Found cache after about two minutes of looking and reviewing old pictures before heading back up to the start. Thanks for the cache!
Found it. Coordinates arealityle off and no pencil to sign the log. Greathiding spot.TFTC
Cache seems to be a few metres away from the coordinates. Took a while of searching to find this one. Its well hidden for how close to the path it is.
A quick but nicely hidden find on this walk... I did the whole circuit, which ended up being a decent walk! Thanks for the cache Shifter Brains!
Found it! Quick and easy but is very well hidden. Next time I am here I will bring some treasures to add to the cache.
Spent the afternoon after work walking the trails up here, enjoying the lovely wander listening to black cockatoos, thanks for the hide
Beautiful day to explore a new area, and find some more Geocaches of course!! I managed to bring home an unwelcome visitor, so do check for leeches before you get back in the car!!
Found it! Did a more thorough search than was necessary and got a leech on my arm for my trouble. Yuck! Thanks for showing me some nice tracks I didn't know were here! TFTC.
Found It!
Walked over here from the event and soon spotted the cache. Nice place!

Felt like I was in the right spot but all I could find was tradables scatted on the ground,
I think it may be compromised

Nice quick find on an evening walk through one of our regular spots. Been past here plenty of times before getting the kids into caching. They actually managed to find this one before we even got the gps out to start searching.
Thanks for the fragrant find!

Now that we are coming out of lockdown this cache is now available to find.
Thank you for your patience and to all of you who have been vaccinated.
Thank you for your patience and to all of you who have been vaccinated.
To help stop the spread of COVID-19, the NSW Government has ordered everybody to STAY AT HOME unless you are: shopping for essentials, receiving medical care, exercising or travelling to work or education.
While some people would regard geocaching as a form of exercise, we feel that this activity is NON-ESSENTIAL, perhaps involving unnecessary travel and therefore should not be undertaken during this time of crisis.
Who knows how long this current lockdown will last! Right now, every one of us has an important part to play in helping to keep our families, friends and the wider community safe in the fight against the spread of COVID-19, by STAYING HOME. Unfortunately, the situation is not improving and there have been an increase in the number of finds on our caches.
As a result of the health authority’s directive, we have decided to disable this cache and respectfully request that you do not seek out and claim a find whilst this cache is disabled. If you do log a find it WILL be DELETED.
Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to bringing our caches back into play after the restrictions are lifter.

Stopped en route between two family visits nearby for a nice stroll down here. There's been a lot of water running down this track, judging by the debris. Stopped where the GPS wanted to be and checked a couple of likely but empty spots before backtracking to more likely and fruitful spot. While signing, I thought the bush seemed quite fragrant, and then realised it was the cache. Novel! Thanks Shifter Brains.
Loved this walk, thanks for bringing me to Katandra Reserve. Nice hide along the way. TFTC
Found with Shaneo58 on a nice day in second month of winter, with temperatures in the mid 20s. Doing some caches around the Central Coast. This is the 5th cache of 8 for today. It took a while to decide where to start from, we finally found a track leading us to the main track taking us to GZ for a quick find Log signed and caches replaced as found. Thanks For The Cache Shifter Brains

Seeing the forecast for rain was worse north of me, I came south. Have not ventured much around here, so... It was even a bit rainy this morning, so i held off, and did not arrive till 8:30, hoping that it would be very quiet, which it was. Only 1 couple doing a little exercise up the top.
Walking from the Lookout, trying to spot the elusive Bushranger from above, i ventured down the Toomey Walk, with rain showers from the trees. I was hoping for well maintained trails in this weather, and that is exactly what is here.
GZ was spot on with the GPSR and a quick find was had. I found the clip in the container, so i tried to return it to its correct place, which i think i have. The log is full, but there is sill plenty of space to log your name. What a wonderful Forest. From the moment i opened my car door, till now, the Cockatoos have been arguing all along from afar, from three different spots i think. THanks for bringing me here. TFCTC. 2/2.

A huge thank you to GeoIan for fixing the clip on the container. Hopefully all will be okay with it.
Mother’s Day caching activity. GeoDaughter found this one. We had a lovely picnic, looked at the beautiful view and then went and found this cache!
Nice walk down the hill with GeoJess. Found closer to the path than expected. TFTC!
Forgot to add that this ones lid clip has broken so container or lid will need replacing. Did my best to try and put it back so water wouldn’t get into it.
Nice easy find on mother's day with mum. Definitely lower than I thought, not really terrain 2.5.
Thanks Shifters!
Thanks Shifters!
Not sure if it's because of bad GPS or overgrowth or what, but I couldn't see any sign of the cache
First off this morning trying to beat the rain. A nice bit of bush and walk through it. A startled wallaby crash loaded behind me at one point and took off. On letting the GPSr settle a likely spot was spied and the cache soon found. Logging duties complete and cache re hid. TFTC.

The Geowife is hightailing it up the Central Coast for a few days - as is her wont at this time of year. I'll be at the Sydney cricket Test starting Thursday - as is my wont!
So today I thoughtfully offered to drive her up. Then I could spend the rest of the day caching in an area that I haven't cached out!
In the end I went for sixteen and managed to find the lot. Quite a few had medium walks through the bush attached to them - thus upping the average quality level of the finds.
Then the late drive home, having told Geosons #1 & #3 to arrange their own dinner. Win / Win / Win today!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
First of four finds on Mount Elliot.
Followed the walk down (so slippery with all the leaves on the path) and soon identified a few possible hides at GZ on my first walk past. Started checking them more carefully. Gotcha!
Completed signing duties and replaced. Then, for some strange reason forgot there was another cache further down the track and headed back up. Oops.

Pleasant enough walk down the trail, no mozzies or flies today. Took a while to pin this one down due to Mr C checking one spot three times before he actually grabbed it. Doh. Cache in good condition. TNLNSL
Good hide, nice and shady here, a cool relief after all the walking to get here

Found with the Mighty Minions on a trip down to Katandra Reserve. We had a pretty great day finding all the caches we tried for and doing lots of huge walks.
Our first stop was to The Bushranger waypoint, but he got away and we needed to look for clues, so we headed over here. A nice walk down and a quick find. Instead of walking up after, we continued going down. Great area and happy to explore and find more caches around here.
Thanks for the cache!

Tombi and I set out to find some caches in the area today. We ended up focusing on the requirements to fulfill one specific cache and had loads of fun along the way, We ended up finding 11 caches for the day. This was the first and while I was searching a different area Tombi had made the find. cache was in good condition . Thanks for the cache Shifter Brains tnln sl
In the area for work and decided to grab a cache (or two) in between appointments. This was a quick find thanks to great coords but I'm not sure the uphill climb has helped my business attire! Ha ha TNLN TFTC
Cache day out with the jcmbt1 crew on this glorious Autumn day along the Mouat walk from Katandra to Rumbalara today to hit as many as we can. Team Ricardo joined us for this one as they happened to be picnicking on the mountain today! They made the find. Yes coords a little out. TNLNSL. TFTC

Found 1:23 pm with Rhyssa6. We set out today to find some caches. These weren't part of plan A but when they appeared on the map and were nearby decided to check them out. I parked the geovehicle nearby to where we could access this cache. We then headed over to find out we had to go back towards the picnic area to be able to access the track. At this point It didn't take long to end up at GZ and soon have the cache in hand. Cache signed and then returned to where it had been found.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Out for another afternoon of caching with MrDamage. Today we decided to find the caches long the top of this ridge and this one was first on our list.
We walked down the track and knowing the gps often doesn't keep up, I started to look around while the gps still indicated we were a short distance away. I immediately spotted something slightly out of place and there was the cache neatly tucked away.

Quick find if you use the photos. My coordinates were way way off for me, but that might just be the iPhone app. Took nothing left nothing.
GPS jumping around a bit, but quick find by geokids. Left TB that we found few days ago in Jindabyne.
Forgot to log this cache. Found it a long time ago. Used to go running through on this track quite a lot. Beautiful place, TFTC Shifter
It turned out to be in the very first place I looked, after not looking hard enough and climbing up searching for something less obvious. Thanks to mrnoo17 for pointing me back on course. TFTC.
