Cache was out on the ground . We have replaced but needs maintenance. Park is not far from where we live and we have never known. Mozzies and bugs are ferocious
We were in the area and decided to check out this lovely reserve because the neighbours dog Pipper, whom we are minding, loves going geocaching and exploring new areas with us.Apart from a prickle she stepped on, she had a ball sniffing all the new scents while Steve & I searched for the cache. Much to her dismay, Steve found it after a 5 minute hunt. Thanks for bringing us to this location today scody.
I wanted one last cache for the day so I came over here to search amongst the prickly bushes. All the while I was searching about half a dozen rainbow lorikeets were shouting from above "Who are you? Go away. We don't know you and we don't want you near our babies. Go home. Go home. You don't belong here" This went on for quite a while, at least until i left. Thanks from D B-A
Quaint reserve found quicker than expected after scrunizing the length of GZ as others have mentioned log is wet I suspect that container is not waterproof sure is a Marvell how that tree has survived.
Took a while to find wasn't sure where we were looking then my partner found it Great hide ️
Looking looking and somemore looking. Finally found it. Desperately needs need log. ️
Knew I was taking a gamble with this one.
Recruited laurenechitty to help but by the time GZ was reached, the location seemed off. Presumed GZ was actually off by about 20 metres.
Combined with the time of year and day, humidity, mosquitoes and the council neglect, it was almost an impossible find. 10 minutes of searching and we gave up.
Will be back when the grass seems a little more manicured.

Spent 20mins earlier in the week with out any luck so brought my 7 year old along and 5mins later he’d found it. Log is water logged and struggling a bit.
Thanks. Was a bit waterlogged die to the recent rain, may need some maintenance shortly.
Thanks again
Thanks again
Came here On a night time treasure finding run. Was daunted by the thought of this one but end up being not so bad. Left a silica bag as the logbook was a little damp.
In the area with my youngest son, Lyon91 moving some furniture across town.
Wandered in for a lokk at this cache as the description intrigued us.
As we looked around Jeremy spotted something that matched the theme and soon afterwards I spied the attachment. Well played!
Thanks for bringing us to this little reserve and also for the cache scody

Having found one of the CO's other caches, I rode to this one and began my search. At first, my elevation was off and I wandered around for a while. Read some logs and tried again with more luck this time. Thanks for the cache, scody. The log is a little wet, but is able to be signed.
Driving around this area for work I saw this cache pop up on the map and I had to stop and grab it! I battled the immensely humid weather and wandered the long way round to GZ. At GZ it was a quick find, leading me to wonder if it's still in original condition or if the cache hide has changed a bit?
Either way I was happy to make the find near such a horizontal tree! We have one in our backyard that was uprooted and fell over but has still managed to hold on for dear life, it's always fascinating how resilient they can be. Yet I'm over here unable to keep a succulent alive haha!
Thanks for the cache!

Thanks for the cache!
Over this way with Jenno3 and kenare for a quick cache this morning. After a quick search we soon had the cache in hand. tftc
Staying in the area for the weekend we decided an early morning assault for some caches was need. Kenare kenbryl and myself headed here. Looking looking ahhaa found it tftc
We headed over here because we realised we hadn’t caches this lga before. We parked and walked in and the absolute bejeebas scared out of us by a pigeon!! Cache was found reasonably quickly. Logbook is quite damp. Logged as JKK. Tftc
Really happy to find this one considering the tree mess that is the area rn. Almost gave up after half an hour but was determined! Bring bug spray tftc!!

It was still hangin' in there, but the host has had a little lie down since the recent winds.
Moved a little further off the track to the other end of the tenacious tree.

**The Adventure:** Not so much as “Hangin’ in There” as “Lying in There”. Unfortunately the host has fallen over in the recent storms, so the cache is now at ground level. Thanks scody for placing this cache for our geo-enjoyment! Cache on

Nice reserve, magpies watched on, gps was a little out but turned and saw the location I was looking for. Log book signed.
Find 2777
The fog had lifted and now nice and sunny. Managed an easy park and made the short stroll over to GZ. As we approached we noticed the cache hanging there in the open very exposed. Fortunately all good with everything. Log signed and now back much safer.

Looking for something for the kids to do during lock down. They took a little while, but eventually the phone zeroed in on GZ and they quickly found the cache.

Thanks for the cache! Have been missing doing caches during lock down, but it's such a nice day and a good way to get the kids out for exercise away from other humans.
Had a lovely walk through the reserve, and found the tree which is pretty cool. Here's hoping we're all as resilient as this tree!

Disabled to discourage cache hunting during these times when you really should be staying home. The cache will be re-enabled once the pressure to isolate eases.
This one had eluded me in the past....first cache in a little while! Out doing work around Frankston.
Out with geo kid 1 running an errand to the area. Stopped by here for a quick cache.
Was expecting a harder find than it was. Approaching GZ we admired the small patch of nature reserve still in existence here. Nice easy walk in. Birds singing in the trees. A bit of wood was sticking out of the ground which I thought was a goanna .
Geo kid made an immediate find. Cache in good condition however may want to watch the moisture levels inside as it was showing signs of damp.
Thank you for the cache here scody

Found it! There was no cover piece so we put a new one on. Plus the thing it is in is now on the ground - not hanging.
Rex and I had to go to Melbourne: me for work training and Rex.. yep he had work training too My training I got paid for while Rex' training I had to pay for and his trainer costs more per hour than I get Still we had some caching time and some friend time so it was a great trip[^]
Over the 4 days we caught up with a former work colleague at the Cheeky Squire[:X], we spent time on the beaches [^] and had our 1st visit to Altona dog beach, we caught up with ADI for one night and day and Yin~Yang [^] for a few hours and managed to get 3 FTFs with Yin~Yang before having my 1st experience of Indian Dosas [^], and an amazing mango Lassi [:X] too, at a nearby food van [^]
I remedied 2 previous DNFs and made 18 finds over the 4 days
The only down side of the trip was the return home as I missed out on a meeting which would have paid me $100 because it took 5hours to get home from Frankston rather than the usual 3 [:(!] Bloody peak hour traffic on the western ring route and I never even thought about taking the toll roads!
After leaving ADI and coming to this side of Melbourne, Rex and I found this cache as we made our late way to the Quest to sleep [|)] Rex enjoyed nosing around and of course I took the longest way in and had to walk so far on my poor sore knees [xx(] that after a quick find of the cache (really, it was![^]) I took the shortest route out and then freaked!! [?][?] Where was Harry[?][?][?][?] Only about 200m up the road[|)][xx(] That's when I realised how tired [|)][xx(] I really must have been since I'd gotten so disoriented [|)][xx(] I'd only stopped for this cache because I saw who the CO was and smiled Now it's off to the hotel and a sleep [|)][^] as this was my last find for the day!
As I have been about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up.
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! [^]
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby

With 2 caches done so far this afternoon it was time to go out and grab this trad which I have seemed to be too lazy find. Well with solving a couple mysteries in the area it was time to actually find this one.
Parking nearby it was a quick walk into the reserve and soon enough I spotted what I needed and had a bit of a chuckle. Anyways thanks for the cache and the find.

I dont like to be beaten and today i searched high and low for this cache .. alas the council has been pruning and i found the cache, still in its rather substantial container, on the ground .. it is however placed well and the coords work.
This one had us puzzled but soon the cache was in hand. Quick find for toeti81 and I. TFTC
That was very tricky to find but an excellent location and great clues to find it. Use the clues the person has left to find the cache. TFTC, really enjoyed that one!
Down here for the weekend and since I got here early I did a couple of caches before it got to hot
After reading the title I thought I knew what I would be after.
After looking in all of the obvious areas and some not so obvious I eventually spotted something, could this be it.
I soon had the very cleaver and sneaky cache in hand.
Thanks scody TFTCi

You my friend are very very sneaky! I love it! Loved the camo and effort put into this one. Thankfully i found it relatively quickly because i was busting for the loo!
Not quite as easy as we were expecting on arrival at GZ. After a good look around we finally noticed something a little odd and were soon signing the log. Nice hide.

Searched for quiet a while along the tree branches and it's many secret hollows but unfortunately did not find anything today
Nice clue, but it was ruined for me due to a marker being left. If that wasn't there it would have been awesome! oh well I hope the next person has a better time.
Dipping a couple of TBs that arrived through the Swiss/Aussie interdimensional portal.
Tricky!

Tftc. Nearly gave up after the geokids became frustrated. Thank heavens for the logs of others - got a few clues to help in our our quest!
Great hiding spot! Cute park and nice walk around the area. Log book is full. Thanks scody

I spent a few spare hours down around the Frankston area today.
This one took me a while to find, but I eventually found it.
When I found it, I realised that I had slightly misinterpreted the whole listing, well, I'd assumed it was hanging somewhere that it actually wasn't anyway.

An easy find here and once log extracted from tube, I removed the swag rubbish which will allow the log to fit the container without being cramped and squeezed in like we found it.
Thanks for this placement scody.

Drove here during my lunch break today to find this cache. Great little hiding spot which didn't take too long to find. However I had trouble getting the bright yellow paper log out to sign. It seems to be jammed in and each time I grabbed hold of it to pull it out it ripped. I ended up signing one of the ripped up pieces of paper. Probably needs some attention. TFTC
I was expecting a different kind of hide when something shiny caught my eye and the well disguised cache was discovered. TFTC
Quickly found. Wasn't what we first thought it would be (which would've been a bit harder). Great cache. TFTC, Brainiac03
A lovely quiet little woodland park. We had my partner with us today and he was amused by his second ever find. TFTC
This sneaky little hide kept me busy for quite a while before I spotted the well camoed hide. Luckily the cold wind had kept most of the muggles inside, so I only had to look innocent twice (Not easy when you look like me). Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Geodad who is also sometimes Muggle dad found this one while working in the area, a nice little area he hadn't been before.
TFTC scody
Was almost muggled out of grabbing this, but luckily they didn't wander down the track I was on or even see me. Took a little while to find it. Was standing right on top of it and then all of a sudden, Oh, there you are! Well hidden. Reminded me of a hide at the Dromana drive in. Signed log. Thanks for placing this scody.
The log book in this is pretty much full and is looking a bit worse for wear. Had great difficulty extracting the log book and even more difficulty getting it back into the container so the lid could go on. Something that fits more snug in there might be an idea, but container is fine.
Very nice GeoCache saw a Kook... Aburra. Need new book we added an antique whistle. Good luck friends!
#68. Second visit with more luck this time except couldn't get log out of container! Will revisit with some 'equipment' (thinking pointy nose pliers might do the trick) so I can note my visit. TFTC.
