2 week holiday in the nt cross caching trip with geoparents who have come from germany for a visit.
Unfortunately 2 weeks go so fast and after having driven down from darwin to alice springs and uluru we have to make our way back to darwin for our flight back to cairns but not without finding a few more caches. ☺tftc sl

10:59:00 AM. A quick driveby as we head south. Good to see enough room to get off the road with a caravan. Signed log. Thanks OzFlameHunter for placing this cache.
And yes another quick find, the day started off with a few DNF's but we managed to finish strongly!. T4TC.
This one was a film canister that looked remarkably like a mint tin

Peut-être a -t-elle disparue ou son ingéniosité m'a dépassée...?
On ne peut pas gagner à tous les coups.

Maybe it has disappeared or ingenuity passed me ...?
I can't win every time.

Quick grab en route to Katherine/Nitmiluk from Darwin. Signed log: TNGD. TFTC!
We did a number of bridge series ( numbers 5, 6, 7, 8. 9. 10. 11) coming back from Robin Falls down south before it got dark along with what we had downloaded for the trip. Just as we though the hides where following a pattern we had to pick which end and which side of the bridge and where on the bridge to look including a second bridge at one spot. Log books signed and caches re hid. TFTC and series.

I stopped, searched and left about 10 minutes later
With both sides searched, under and over I claim a proud DNF

VA quick find with the traffic roaring past.
VA quick find with the traffic roaring past.
After 5 days in Darwin for the V8's and a little sightseeing it was time to head south back to the cold. Of course we grabbed caches on the way.
Quick find and sign for this one. TFTC.

Another bridge, another cache! This is fun . Well this one let us search for a while but Geohubby found it! TFTC OzFlameHunter.
Couldn't find this for a while so widened our search area trying both sides of the road and bridge with no luck. Mr TiedyeSmileys then thought he would try to peer under the bridge. While walking along the bottom of the concrete embankment, he spotted what looked like a film canister lid. He held it up for Mrs TiedyeSmileys to see. She then peered around where he was standing and asked what was that on the ground behind him. Sure enough, it was the rest of the cache. Put it all back together again (although the container is now a bit distorted so the lid doesn't seal properly) and returned it back up to the top in a likely hiding place.

Looked high and low for this one but it eluded us today ... Will have another try on the way home
Sneaky little bugger. GPS co=ords had been spot on with all the other caches of this series that we did today except this one. I suspect he may have decided to be a bit cheeky and move!! Once again Caching brain kicked in and we tracked him down. Am Loving this series. TFTC
