Nice one - there's an almost identical one in Nelson. So I had it figured before I got near the site. Cache 39 of 51 for the day. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(2262)
A day out cacheing to see how many I could get. Tftc
Seen these on geo101web site. 1st 1 for real No13 today

Very easy find today. Have found some like this before, so I had an idea already of what I should be looking for. Thanks for the cache.

Tried night caching and it proved a lot harder than we thought it would be. Came back in the daylight and stood back to inspect the humming machine. Then we spotted it - could it really be? ANd yes it was. TFTC, gets a favourite from us.
This was my first geocaching experience . It was fun when
we found it. Not much room left. I am glad I can think outside of the square.

I took way too long to spot this one, not really with it today obviously. Great hide.

A very cool cache, our first for our cache hunt day. TFTC - you've given us ideas for our own cache placements.
Love it. One of our favourites. Last cache of the day and very cold fingers. Home time now with a hot choc and bowl of chips from the shop at the bottom of the hill.
Lovely day for a stroll up the hill. RogoBaby and I needed to get out for a walk in the fresh air so off we set with a cache firmly in our sights. My humming on the way was suppressed by some stern looks. We arrived at GZ and new we were at the right spot due to the hum in the air. RogoBaby was humming away too. I gave some stern looks of my own as we puzzled to find what we sought. Then inspiration struck and I was quietly humming to myself as I showed the prize to RogoBaby. Thanks for the neat cache.
Out for a late afternoon's caching with bo&bronnie and although he already had this one he very kindly stopped to letvme grab it. A nice (appropriate) hide. TNLN, LOL.
A nice quick find while in the area today, spotted this one very quickly, well done. TFTC. Cheers Bo
With the clue I knew we were looking for something very obvious. After a quick circuit of the most obvious feature I had it knabbed within 60 seconds. Very clever, hadn't seen one like this before. Tftc
Too many clues made this too easy. I have walked past here many times taking my children to school.
Nightmare of a place to find but hilarious cache find. A favorite from me here. Tftc!

I was hanging out with my bf, and then pointed out that it was getting late, and I needed to get my geocache for the day... meaning in a nice way, you should come with me because it's dark outside...
We got to the GZ then, and searched around a couple loops. No luck though. So I read the description... and when I read the part about it being in plain sight, I knew exactly what we were looking for, as I have found one of the form before!
Sure enough! I was right! And my bf was very very impressed at the creativeness of the cache!
We then had a few people come past, mostly dog walkers, before returnig the cache, and heading back to the car.
TFTC!!

A very enjoyable cache. Had me scratching my head for a while, but I found it after a while.

I was aiming for another of your caches for today's find but there too many muggles to give it a go. Came here instead, being my next nearest unfound cache. Found quickly, but had to return to the cachemobile for a different pen to sign the log. TFTC. A favourite.

Fortunately, I have had experience of such a cache and it was quickly found. "Experience" is the ability to not make the same mistake twice!
I also made the mistake of approaching from Garth Terrace! However it was a very simple find as I had also purchased that exact same caching container to use in my 12/12/12 series but decided on a different location at the last minute due to work being done in the area where it was to be put! Worth the walk up...and down the hill.
Approched from Garth Terrace quite a nice climb for a mountain goat, novel container; TFTC.
Found while out on a training bike ride up to the Sign of the Kiwis via Dyers Pass Rd. Had to think about this one read between the lines so to speak. No humming heard by me, I'm a deaf old codger and do not wear hearing aids while riding. Nice one TFTC
Love it! Very inventive. TFTC

Great cache- It was the lack of something that gave it away.
Couldnt sign it in pen so if you tilt it in the right angle to the sun you can see the indent.
A Fav for me. TFTC

Out for a ride on the hills, so stopped off to pick this one up. Forgot my pen so no written log from me. Loved it, well done CO. TFTC.
TFTC. It was a scourcer of a day today and I decided a late evening adventure would be nice before retiring for the night. I hummed a gentle lullaby to myself as I signed the log and managed to avoid getting a zap! Then home for a good nights sleep.
Thanks TheWanglers for providing the entertainment.

4953. A quick and easy find since we knew exactly what to look for and where. Pen only just managed to write faintly in the log. Thanks for a neat cache. Rodney and Iris.
I was going to write up in the log that it was a quick park & find during my lunch break...and in reality it was...I just didn't have the right type of pen to sign the log. So away I went...& had to call in again on my way home to sign the log. Great hide...deserves a favourite from me. TN:LN:SL. TFTC...The Wanglers. A cache for Day 95 of our Consecutive Days Streak. #411 for us.
Shot passed the entrance twice.Duh!! And almost at GZ our GPS died...Great,!!! So we wer'nt quite Humming at that stage. But no problem,as we spied something there. Then our pen would'nt write in the Log Book,so had to go back to our Cachemoble, and get a Pencil.Yippy that did the trick.A very clever concept.TFTC
A quiet day for a caching drive around town. Nice one. Had to go back to the car for a writing stick that worked. Thanks for the hide.
A lovely day to be happy & singing in the sunshine all the way to & from this beauty. Congratulations to TheWanglers for reaching high notes on all levels of composition on this stunning harmonious number. [^]
A few hours to go until my flights to Europe, so I decided to go out on my bike for a bit of exercise and caching. I approached this one with trepidation as TheWanglers caches can be really tricky, but had it in hand after surveying the area. Managed to walk right to the nearby Touch Wood as well. I should forget my flights and concentrate on all of the caches that I usually miss if my luck is so good today.
Cheers TheWanglers!

725 - I could have become very attached to this cache, especially once I got over my initial shock. There I was, humming to myself a song that seems to go round and round in my head, I've heard it so often recently , and something must have liked it, because it started humming back to me. Unfortunately that distracted me (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it) and it took me a few minutes to find it but then, just as I was getting really attached, the others made me put it back ... Not fair!....spoilsports..... I wanted a souvenir!
You Wanglers are bright sparks!! Another one to chuckle at. Managed the initials;-- a pencil to sign would be better than a pen. Thak you.
2TF. Just missed it. Cool idea, I have been meaning to do one of these. TFTC (929)
FTF with Mporokosa. Found 9 mins after receiving notification, but did not speed! Took us 3 attempts to log due to the selection of writing instruments we had available. Good to have a cache so handy now we are back in town. TFTC
Can't believe our luck! I was doing some fiddling on the computer and went into my email to discover this new release in my inbox. So close too! Chocochunk didn't even ask. We both grabbed our GPSrs and I scribbled down the coordinates and we were off. We were arguing about the best way to get to the cache when my GPSr beeped telling me we'd arrived! FTF for us!
