Found the cache when we came from the correct side of the pond.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Woden's day the sixteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. A rather quiet place here where the cache was found easily and is all goodTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
Certainly a lovely little spot! I made things harder for myself without properly reading the description and found myself balancing along one of the logs in the water until I realised I was barking up the wrong tree. But I was curious about something I had spotted I suppose. I was back on the hill looking around until I spotted it. How did I not see that before? I was standing in that nook only a short time ago. I guess a different angle made all the difference. Signed the log and returned the cache. Okay, I'll award this a favourite for unnecessarily risking getting wet to find the cache. Many thanks to gmj.
A neighbour has a lovely BBQ happening right now, the waft of beef is in the air. The gps had us off course a little but on further investigation we found it !
We absolutely love the noise of the Pobblebonk frogs but, sadly, none were singing their tunes today. Enough water in the pond to make me wonder if we were going home muddy today! Fortunately we came out clean. TFTC and for bringing us to this lovely park.
DNF was successfully avenged! Cache was not exactly at the right spot. (My SU-27 got so angy that he almost fired a missile at the cache) Shown in the pic, all that searching made the SU-27 thirsty (schlorp schlorp schlorp)
All is fine here, although the vegetation has grown a lot. This doesn't have any impact on finding the cache however.
Ok - so after a 20 minute stroll back and forth and still not locating the cache, I gave up. Ive never been good with in plain sight and apparently Im not improving!
Hmm. Know what I'm looking for, but can't see it. Rain and wife then intervened. Will be back.
Pobblebonks quiet today - needless to say the tranquility would be broken if Id fallen in so glad this is a day trip. Today...time for many things and one is the SOLSTICE souvenir rush. One is for memories of time near the beach and wistful dreams too. And one is for "casheering" as my dear mum Mollie would say. After visiting at REGIS just up the road, taking a slow way home and enjoying the setting sun and chance to wander. Cache located in where directed and signed with no muggling issues. Thanks gmj3191 for placing the cache.
On the approach to this cache, I was hindered by the small pond. A quick walk around and a duck under the tree line and the cache was soon found. As I was leaving some dog walkers came out of nowhere. They didn't bother me so I didn't bother them, lol.
I have been trying to finding more D2.0/T2.0 caches in order to work on qualifying for [Dromaniax's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=d0b21b2e-6d61-423e-839d-4cc4f7fe7ab1&wid=f64bc8da-f1c9-4c56-b78b-fc2b2ce2874e&ds=2) [Richie Benaud 2/2 D/T All-Rounder Challenge Cache (GC9QG0K)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9QG0K), so when I saw that I was going to be driving nearby this one and it had a D/T rating of D2.0/T2.0 I knew I had to stop.
By the time I arrived the sun had completely set, and I was going to have to find this one in the dark. I guess all of the pobbelbonks were a sleep tonight, as I heard no frogs on my approach to GZ. Once I arrived at GZ my phone did not want to cooperate and sent me back and fourth between a few difference beacons.
I was quite nervous to step into the water as due to the darkness it made it a bit hard to see where the edge of the water was. However, eventually I was able to tip toe my way around and get the right angle to spot the cache.
A big thanks goes to [gmj3191](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=b4585843-0564-409a-aee2-b35dc0e22ecf&wid=b1a360bf-2cfb-4b3a-a68c-a8648a90bd75&ds=2) for the fun little biology lesson. TFTC.
**Cache Maintenance Status**
The cache container was in good shape, the attachment mechanism still seemed strong and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

After visiting a nearby warehouse we had some time to kill before meeting our old neighbour's for lunch so stopped by here to locate this cache. Once on the right side of the pond it was very damp and mushy under foot as we cautiously made our way towards GZ. It wasn't long before Mr Pooky spotted the well camouflaged container in plain site. TFTC and bringing us to this spot. TNLNSL.
This was actually very tricky to spot! We ended up going to the other side of the pond, only to discover that 40m was definately too far away. Back we went to our original spot and finally, after growing and shrinking and growing again... We spotted the cache! Camo is amazing
I had come over *Bayside* today to find caches here for a LGA challenge that I am working on... with a focus on caches with high Favourite Point counts for another challenge that I am working on (yeah, I am a bit hooked on challenges!).
This was my second *Bayside* stop... and was very nearly a . After hunting around for quite a while at the indicated GZ I had come to the conclusion that the cache was missing... Wrong! After reading a few more previous logs I went back for another look... shifting my search zone northwards. With a renewed focus, it didn't take long to find the cache.
Thanks **gmj3191** for this cache.

Off on a late Tuesday afternoon geocaching run in the Cheltenham area. I had heard that it was going to be a rainy afternoon, but it was a lovely night in the end. Funnily enough every one I found was a GMJ 3191 geocache and the 2 I couldn't find were both Earthbound Chief.
GPSr was pointing everywhere and my offline maps had GZ in the. Muddle of the water. Glad this wasn't the case.
Thanks for the cache GMJ 3191

I'm always a bit worried about snakes around water at this time of year but no nasty encounters today and also glad I didn't drop the cache container. What a lovely place, thank you for bringing me and the geodog here
Found it nice hide good camouflage after all the rain we had there where a lot of pobblebonks
My grandma knew about this frog, and was quite pleased with the cache when I told her about it
Alas, another attempt after 3 years, and still nothing for us to find at GZ. We used the hint, but nothing appeared at head height, and we even went to far as to head to the swing via the trunks, but couldn't find anything.
Sooner or later we will return and maybe, just maybe, we'll be able to find it.

Found it but the whole container came straight off the hook and it’s really unstable.
*The Monday Melbourne Funeral Adventure #5*
SueHut and I are up for a funeral. We deliberately planned to do a few caches before (to be properly respectfully composed, not harried and frazzled by driving conditions getting there) and after (to "wind down" in order to have full concentration on the task of driving).
What a cute park! Didn't hear any pobblebonks (well... not here. There were frogs galore at later caches). This was the last before the "intermission" of the actual funeral.
Thanks heaps, gmj3191! Not your intention to be our mental health consultant, but you did a great job anyway!

Nice easy find. Loving the little parks around here. Added some trades for you. Found a footy in the bushes
A nice quick find for us in a beautiful little local park. The forecast rainy weather seemed to have passed overnight and there was lots of glorious sunshine and lots of noisy pobblebonks around. TFTC gmj3191

Out and about today in-between a short shift at work and a big card tournament in Clayton today, deciding to go out and collect some caches before the rain sets in today. A very successful afternoon all in all with only one dnf. Thanks for the cache and the little suburb adventure.

Found this one during the Beach Roadgaine. A little bit of tree lining required and almost lost my pen in the pond.
Found with icw. I was disappointed no pobblebonks were calling today as I record their songs and localities and send them to FrogID (Australian Museum) and Frog Census (Melbourne Water). Tftc.
TFTC gmj3191. We wandered past here in summer & were clearly looking in the wrong spot thanks to vegetation throwing off the phone gps. Today, not much foliage, no pobbles, just an awesome clever camo hide.

I love listening to the pobblebonks, not that I heard any today. So many lovely parks in the area! Really enjoyed walking around this area grabbing caches today. TFTC
In the area today to attend a geocaching event so took the opportunity to find some local caches .. what a lovely little park in a quiet street! I located the cache quite quickly and as there were no muggles about I was able to take my time signing the log and admiring the view . thanks gmj3191 for placing the cache.
Found at 15:09
What a great little frog park. If love to be here around sunset to hear the calls.
Thanks gmj3191 for the cache

Beautiful green place indeed!! So quiet as I visited this cache, didn't take too long, great hide, tftc!
It was missing the last time we were here, more than a year ago. A quick find this time in a lovely spot this time! Thank you for the cache!
Found this first out of pure luck, checked out the website then found an amazing community of people and fun outdoor things!
Have driven by and parked here a few times intending to search but there always seemed to be a few muggles with dogs or kids within sight of GZ, so leaving off searching always seemed the right thing to do.
Finding myself in the area this afternoon though the coast was entirely clear, not a person to be seen, so I made a beeline for GZ, where the camouflaged container was quickly located.
Signed the log, visited a few trackables. Thanks for the cache, gmj3191 - I'm quite fond of the ol' Pobblebonk for its delightful call, though sadly none were in evidence this particular afternoon - probably a bit too early in the day.

We’ve often heard the call of the Pobblebonk frogs, but unfortunately no sign of any bonking today. What a lovely park, so quiet and peaceful as we wandered over to GZ and made the find.
Thanks gmj3191 for bringing us here today.

Second time lucky for this one. This time I didn't get savaged by mosquito's. Nice cammo container. Thanks for the cache.
Nice hide! Took us a little while but GZ is spot on. Never would have noticed this little park without the cache here. TFTC

Following a couple of DNFs, I called by this afternoon on a "maintenance walk". The cache is there, and in good condition.

Knowing gmj3191 caches are accurate in description and usually a little tricky I kept reading the description until suddenly it appeared in plain sight . Thanks for the cache gmj3191
As is common in my caching adventures with Snips & Co, she spots it and I’m sent in to access and sign. This one had me holding on to not get wet. Balance at 54 can be a precarious proposition. TFTC
As we can now wander up to 25km, and can have up to 2 hours of recreational activity, I'll re-enable my caches.
Melbourne is currently in a Stay At Home situation.
If you found this cache within walking distance of your home, go ahead and log it.
This is within the bounds of legitimate exercise.
If you found this cache by driving to it, you're interpreting the rules to your own benefit, and not the community's. You should not be travelling to exercise, and interpreting caching as exercise is a long stretch anyway (pun intended).

Disabled for the duration of the Covid-19 crisis.
Although exercise is ok, beaches, parks etc are gradually being closed, and we are being asked to stay home.
The possibility to transmit the virus by surface contact exists, so why take chances?
At the end of the day, geocaching is a game, and we are dealing with a serious Public Health issue.
We need to get our priorities in order.
I believe the responsible thing is to disable all my caches, until the crisis passes.
Thanks.

Many mozzie bites later couldn't find it. Spent a good half hr but no luck today.
My goodness! All this talk about an easy hide. That is one of the hardest finds for a long while for me...bravo! Excellent camo...my GPS had me miles away ....finally put it away and used geosenss again.
Great hide and wonderful song from the frogs...I recorded them... they are beautiful.
A fav from me for all of this.️

TFTC! A great one that had has searching for a little to much, and a ridiculously too many mozzie bites. We certainly didn’t walk away from the challenge!
Out and about with Muzza today focusing on the P.I.G. and Thompson Series with a few random caches thrown in for good measure.
My previous log for this one was a DNF though today, after recent replacement from the CO, turned this one into a smiley.

This is a gorgeous little park and the frog chorus was going this afternoon with gusto. I spent some time trying to see a frog, but no luck. Next time might bring binoculars! At GZ, I tried to casually walk around, being observant. Needed to range fairly widely owing to the tree cover which made my GPS not too reliable. It didn't take too long to spot something, then crane my neck around to locate the container. It was a little bit awkward (and there were people around behind fences, and on neighbouring streets, but not actually in the park), but I managed to retrieve and sign successfully. Fav point from me for the frogs! TFTC
We are nearing our 500th find and need just under 40 caches in the next 2 days to celebrate the occasion on the 1st anniversary of joining this amazing geocaching game and community. With geo hubby at work, it was just me and the 3 geo kids out for the hunt.
A short walk through this lovely little park. We could hear frogs and the kids saw dragon flies amongst the plants of the little lake. A quick find was made. Nice new fresh replacement log.
Thank you for bringing us here gmj3191

Surprisingly considering how it was hidden, the old cache has disappeared. Cache replaced, same coords, but a bit more elevated.
