Our second find on the Sandy Bridge series and it almost wasnt. We went scratching around every tree in sight and were coming up with a big fat blank that you couldnt even get playing Blankety Blanks. There was only one place to really look and we couldnt find anything. We shone the torch and caught a glimpse of something worth trying to dig out. It was either the cache or a disused vape. Mrs Woodyrothwell said that she had a big arse but tiny hands. I really like that arse. With her tiny hands it still took a while to get the hide out because she wasnt letting go. The entire cache was full of dirt and once that was freed we still had the problem of getting the log out to get the clue. Its funny how the thought of finding a clue will make you persist. 20 minutes after spying the cache we had the clue and our name on the log sheet. tftc
Out with the geo kids for a bike ride and this was a great find for them. Found with SCAHPA - TFTC
After not initially finding number 1, thought to continue onwards in case future caches gave us hints. Easy to spot this one but couldnt get my fat hands in to retrieve it. Sticks did not help to retrieve it either.
Missed this one on the first visit. Kiddo spotted it today. Supper glad to tick this one off.
Walking with Casey - the pregnant one and Ali the hungry one. I DNF this one ages ago so came back with some extra sets of eyes, spotted within 10 seconds. TFTC.
Could not find it. There was also a danger noodle guarding where I think the cache is.
I can confirm, there is no cache in the tree I had previously been checking. I returned today to avenge the 3 sandy bridges that have gotten the better of me in previous trips. Gps today guided me to the other side of the bridge where the cache practically bit me on the proverbial. Log signed and clue noted, onto SB#3
After spending hours on this and not finding during first few weeks of covid lockdown, finally came back and found with my tow girls, reading the activities really helped as gps was moving around a bit, TFTC!!!!
Spent far longer than I care to admit searching around the base of what I assume is the correct tree. I had read all the logs and thought I would add this one to my growing collection of smileys... not today.
App coordinates changing around from morning to afternoon, but eventually found the cool hiding spot. TFTC!
I had 2 DNF’s on my list this morning as I’ve noticed they have both been recently replaced. Both were part of a series with clues to a finale so very happy to turn both into smiley’s this morning. TFTC
the_eths I found your cache A Sandy Bridge #2 on 15/4/2023, 9:20 am. This is my find 5001 and find # 1 today. Took a while to find it, very well hidden. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Out for a walk with the extended family. Our niece and nephew having their first time geocaching and looking for anything 'suss'. Our niece said 'hey I saw something overhere but I don't know if it's it' cachehunter went over to investigate and the cache was shortly in hand to our niece's delight. Tftc FP awarded
Found with NiciDanielle and the extended family and a couple of GeoPoochies. Shamefully it was one of the budding novice cachers that found this one. Good eyes foor a 10 year old. TFTC
Returned to collect the clue for the bonus cache. Unfortunately it seems like this one has moved or been muggled. I’m hoping my memory isn’t the problem!
Much quicker find.
Realised we forgot to get the clue for the 1st cache so back we go!

Another quick, ralitively easy find today. Log needs replacing as it is wet and broke apart, so added a small sheet to sign. TFTH, TFTC
Found but unable to write on the log because it disintegrated as I was trying to write on it. Pic sent to CO. TFTC
TFTC. Awesome walk with the family through the park.
Log is unfortunately a bit soggy.

Today it was my last day at work for the year, which meant an early lunch departure. I decided to take a few hours and head north for some christmas shopping, before going for a walk along Sandy Creek and target a few of the *A Sandy Bridge* series. I hadn't planned on visiting so many, but it was just a nice day to continue my jog/run.
After jogging from the previous geocache, I was relieved to make a reasonably quick find at this location. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks the_eths for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

A quick easy one although I was unsure of the clue as the log is damp and seems to be a replacement. Thanks for the cache
Nice quick find while visiting family on Father’s Dsy. Thanks for the new log.TFTC
I was about to give up when I found this one. Log is wet, unreadable & falling apart. I have added fresh paper. Happy to be able to convert this previous DNF. TFTC
Out and about making the most of the park space within the 10km and decided to clear this series having previously done the fourth bridge some years ago.
This one took a little time to spot. After looking at a few logs and pics it didn’t take much to spot the likely location.
Found, signed as best one can and returned.
Tftc. Onward bound!

Found it! Had to trust the co-ords on this one. Log was too wet to sign so here’s a photo as evidence. TFTC!!
