Hi Hunters,
We are not going to replace this cache as it seems there is a local that seems to enjoy stealing what is not theirs. We have put it in different locations to throw them off track but to no avail. Sorry to disappoint as this was a very popular cache.
One day when looters cease to exist we will continue putting out large caches.

Cache appears to have been muggled, local cacher walked by who knew where it should've been and came to have a look when we couldn't see it and he couldn't see it either. Couldn't find TBs either. Pity, would've been our hilltop find. Cached the visitor book at Barron Falls instead with Synni
This cache has been muggled again!! No box but found the three TBs lying on the ground!! We have rescued them. Therefore we claim a find. TFTC.
Yes, cache is definitely missing but did find golf ball and whistle at CZ so also claiming a found, no more treasures here now though. Shame, great spot.
First geocache in Australia!!
Easy find, and it was a quiet, rainy day at Kuranda so no mugglers around...
Left three tags, took one out

Thanks for the nice quick find in tacky touristville! Visited during the Girl Guides World Thinking Day with my daughter. Left TB : )
The cache has been replaced. Please ensure it goes back to where you found it..
found 12/17/14 or sent picture of where it should have been. Sent email to owner for permission to log. Team TED from ISA says TFTC and getting us to explore another area outside Cairns.
Sorry for no maintenance - been busy few weeks..
Will attend shortly to check and possibly replace.

It's gone, very cool tree, matched gz with picture but it was empty. Thanks anyway, dwildcat sending a picture, we're TeamTED.
Is it possible we could miss a cache this big, checked the photos of the cache and location and still didn't find it.TFTC.
We came up with the train this morning and will go down with the cable cabins. Fast and easy find. Tanks for hiding.
Popped in to check on the find, all is well and is hidden away from prying eyes. Log is still quite capable of taking lots of signatures. Happy hunting all
Found easily, nice location. Thanks
Also leave there our TB Czech Republic.

#1307 - While M went market hunting, B found this big one after we had cycled up from Cairns. Nice day for our first day of cycling around Australia.

Opted out of the second half of the Jumrum creek walk due to stairs (not too stroller friendly for our sleeping 5 m.o.) so I walked back to the Skyrail terminal on the streets, which took me right past GZ with time to kill while waiting for the family. Perfect! QEF, TFTC!
I strolled along the path from the other cache nearby and then over the railway and headed towards this cache.
The GPS was not very cooperative under the trees and I searched around looking for a spot which would fit the hint and then I was lucky enough to spot the cache.
I'm surprised a cache of this size would survive in this location.
TFTC.

Holidaying in Queensland for 10 days and Tarbit was keen to check out Kuranda so we drove up to Cairns and beyond on a day trip. She took Geobaby to the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary so I had an hour to kill and what better way to spend it then tackling the two traditional caches nearby. Having found the first nearby I diverted to pick this one up. I think I timed it right as the tourists seemed to have caught their various modes of transport out of Kuranda. After a brief search I had the cache in hand and was pleasantly surprised by the form and size. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited a couple of TBs. Thanks for the cache Rummaging Remins.

got back into the country and Cairns last night
and off to see some relatives on the tablelands today
we usually sneak up the Gillies
but today we went via the Kuranda Range
so I could detour off to do the nearby earth cache (for Earth Cache Day - yes I know, a day late )
so stopped in here for a look too ...
very quiet this morning, guess we made it up befor the tourists
fairly quick find
always nice to find bigger caches too [^]
there was a TB in the cache which I grabbed
a few visited too

one of our trackables was kept by someone for 6 weeks and we thought it had been lost, they say they have placed it in this cache so I'm manually doing that, please move this trackable on if you do happen to find it in here, thanks, regards, Seri & Neil (tb owner)
We stay for some time in Kuranda and we where very happy to find this cache.

Found this while waiting for the Rain Forest Railway. Took the TB. My first Rain Forest cache. Thanks and greetings from Chicago Illinois. USA.
#6192 Having flown into Cairns from Melbourne ex Sydney the previous day, this was our first full day of enjoying Cairns. We were touring with our mates DazzPete and had decided on a day in Karunda, in retrospect we picked a brilliant day for it. We took the 3 gondola's to the top and then explored Karunda on foot. This was very close to our exit point so it was a short stroll to GZ where a well hidden and nicely sized cache container awaited us (we love ammo's). Our thanks to Rummaging_Remins for the cache in a top part of FNQ. Cheers [^]

Straight off of the SkyRail and to GZ for the first find of today. Now it's time to explore Kuranda before taking the Train back down to town.

Find #1512. Found @ 13:15.
We're holidaying in Cairns and doing holiday type things. While the good lady wife and geomunchkins were looking at stuff to buy at the markets, I found a cache or two.
A nice quick find in the most logical location. Luckily there were no muggles anywhere at the time of my attempt.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

Bungy, skyrail, cache.
After a busy morning, just before cathing the 3:30 train back, we grabbed this one on the way.
Greetings also to the neighbour across the street who was watching us

Someone has left a bag full of clothes. Cache was open and strewn about. I have repacked the cache and moved it slighly away from muggles.

On the full day Skyrail / Rainforeststation / Kuranda Scenic Rail experience with the Geowife, and had a few minutes to grab this cache after jumping off the Skyrail.
Got to GZ and saw a likely spot for the hide. A quick look proved fruitless.
Checked the coordinates and they seemed to put my in the middle of the grass - so did Google Earth. Having cleverly not checked the cache size, wondered if it was something really devious and tiny...
After determining this wasn't the case, checked the cache size. D'oh!
That suggests where I looked the first time.
Went back to that spot and had a better look. CIH.
Completed signing duties and went on our way to sample the delights of Kuranda - bought some honey after trying the free samples. Yumm.

Great time in Kuranda, went up by train and took the jungle walk. On the way down first looking for this cache and found it quickly. Thanks for hiding it says the Adipöse-Tiger- family from Germany.
Klettercache and me are making a 5 week holiday in Australia and our route leads us from Sydney via Brisbane to Cairns. From Cairns, we are going to take a flight to Adelaide and from this city in Southern Australia we will continue our trip by train through the Nullarbor Plain towards Perth, where we will fly back to Germany.
During this third week of our stay, we drove our rental car from towards Cairns and will stay near this village for 5 days. We haved to drive really a lot of kilometers the last days and are glad now to have an opportunity to relax for a while. Anyway, we are looking forward to find caches around Cairns and to make some trips in the surrounding region.
This day, we made a small trip to the surrounding nearby Cairns. We drove from Cairns towards Kuranda, Mareeba, Port Douglas and back to Cairns. It was a real nice trip and we have seen a lot of nice sceneries.
This cache was lying along our way and we really appreciated the nice view of the railway station nearby. The logbook was slightly wet. it seems that the container does not close tightly any more.
Thanks to the owner for keeping this cache.

Rode the Skytrain up here today, our first time on it. Found this after alighting, enjoyed the village and the trip down, what a view. Tftc
#900 we had done the touristy thing and caught the sky rail up spent half the day in kuranda visiting the butterflies and birds. We grabbed this cache only minutes before the train departed!! Mrs Bgf was starting to panic. TFTC Rummaging_Remins
Quick find and really quiet in the area today. So we really enjoyed our day in Kuranda.
What a nice hide in such a busy area. I could not imagine, to hide a box this size... Perfect! Thank you!
Holidaying in Cairns for a few days today we decided to check out the Skyrail and take in the sights along the way.
The ride up on the rail was great, we headed up from the arrival station and soon located the hide. The neighbouring dog didn't want us to be there as they were barking constantly until we moved on.
TFTC and placing this one for us to find while we were around this quaint little village. Took TB

Quickly found during our trip to Kuranda with the family. An ammobox, we love it !
Nach einer 7, 5 Kilometer langen Seilbahnfahrt über den Regenwald fanden wir noch Zeit, diesen Cache zu suchen.

thanks for the hide. I'm a local so was great to see so many logs from people all around the world
Nice quick find after the beautiful train ride up. Now for the gondola back down. Awesome little village. Tftc!
Travelled up the Sky rail. And then a quick search for this cache straight forward find once my GPS settled. I walked along THE RIVER AND up TO THE OLD MARKET AREA. AND HAD A WONDERFUL TASTY CREPE WITH LEMON AND SUGAR. Divine! Looked at other market quickly then into butterfly house which was good to see. I saw the koala house and thought I had seen enough of those and didn't go in but I discovered later that there is much much more to this place with crocs, snakes etc I feel it needs re naming!!!
The rail trip was excellent.. Amazing work of engineering .. to think the workers were suspended on ropes to cut into the rock face to make a track. Up to 1500 men worked on this track at one time.. I don't fancy being a wife living up there!
Thanks for this cache.

Found on a pleasant walk around Kuranda this morning with (non-geo) hubby. Well he actually found it before me. No trackables in cache or muggles today even though the town was pretty busy. TFTC SL TNLTB

Between Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and Kuranda Scenic Railway to Freshwater Station a short sidestep for a cache. Very close to it I heard a voice from behind: "Yes, you are very close!". A geocacher living next door to it had observed me...
