If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.
If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include **GC Number and Cache Name** ) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will unarchive it. Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Have been down and seen for myself that the cliff face has collapsed, thus burying the cache.
Maybe in a thousand years from now they will find it!
Anyway, I am going to disable it permanently and replace a new one that is more accessible soon.
Cheers,
JITHI5.
This cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention, therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility and includes regular visits to the cache to ensure it is in proper working order, especially when a seeker reports a problem with the cache.
Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, have a read here: [Cache Maintenance Guidelines.](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) The guidelines advise; **if you can't fix it straight away then Disable it till you can.** This Help Centre article tells you how it can be done; [Temporarily Disable and Enable.]( http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 )
**Please respond to this situation within 28 days - so as to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.**
If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and indicating how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned and archived without further notice.
**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable ](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

I will attempt to get down there in the next few weeks to check on it, so for now I would suggest not trying for it till I log the visit saying that it has been found or not.
I wont archive it till I know whats going on with it.
Having said that, when I was there not long ago performing maintenance, it appeared to have been moved from its hiding place, quite possibly by muggles, so I replaced it back at the correct co-ords.
After walking in from Tidal River, and picking up two earthcaches on the way, we arrived at the general location.
I managed to find a way to the top, but Pam waited in the bushes below.
I searched for about 30 mins at the highest piece of rock, looking everywhere within about 15m, and examining every ledge. The rock is pretty brittle and some of the ledges had collapsed. There is a possibility that the cache has slipped back down under a ledge and been covered in sand, but the clue is so specific, the GPS signal so good, that whatever has happened, I fear the cache has gone.
If it is there, then the hint needs some attention as it must be misleading, as there is no ledge with a cache at the highest point, or within 10m of it..
Thanks anyway jithi5
I have found that the surrounding bush has indeed grown somewhat from when it was 1st placed. I still managed to find a way through to the cache with out damaging any of the surrounding bush/flora so I am still keeping this cache operational till my next check.
As always, tread carefully and respect the native flora.
Thanks,
JITHI5.
A bit of a scrabble to get this one, especially with the 60kph trying to help me up and must admit I was a little concerned about the damage I may be causing to surrounding dunes and vegetation to get there. But all good in the end and log was signed , just a pitty my sunnies decided to break apart and fly east with the prevailing wind .
I had a great time anyway and enjoyed the wonderful scenery.

Well, the first Public holiday for an AFL grand final... What to do? Go to the game? Watch it on TV? No way, time to head towards Wilsons Prom for a weekend of Kayaking and Hiking. After a morning out adventuring, cramp was setting in and it was time to head back to camp at Oberon Bay, a short stop here to retrieve this one. This was a lot tougher to get to the cache than expected, but along with Oaky, we got there in the end.
Thanks to jithi5 for the cache. TNLN

[green] Got it![/green]
After an epic fail on an old archived cache this one was a welcome sight. Although it was found upside down out in the open, placed it under a nearby rock ledge for a bit of protection
[green]Merci beaucoup

After settling and setting up camp, I proceeded to find this cache. I saw the vantage point from a distance and devised my plan of attack. Unfortunately once I got to the beach, a combination of rain, wind and inability to locate the walking track to lookout prevented me from finding this cache. I did consider bush bashing but given this is a national park, this was entirely inappropriate. I attempted a second attempt the following morning but again failed - this time without the rain.
I will attempt this cache again next time I am at the prom but it would be most helpful for people like me who are unfamiliar with the area, if a trailhead WP was marked on the map. This way, I and all other cachers can easily find this beautiful vantage point.
Many thanks!

Distance from original: 456.1 feet or 139 meters.
I have been informed by a few people that the cache is not in its original position but is still in a good hiding spot. So I am going to up-date the co-ords to its current position to help anyone doing this cache.
Thanks to all that have contacted me regarding the above issue.
Thanks. JITHI5.
What a beautiful view of the bay and what special rock formation. Cache was found because of the good description and hint. But coordinates were different from the cache location (see maintenance log).
Not sure about the FTF, because of logs in logbook (25-9-14, by muggles?)...
