The time has come to say goodbye. Thank you for the fun and information for the past 15 hyears. GeopopsNZ signing out.
Checked the wrong side first, before a quick find on the other side, all good here, TFTC
One of the quickest finds of the day, not sure it was meant to be that easy?Hold in place by a rock.Maybe the dry weather also helped as it wasn't slippery or anything. All good here, thanks for adding to the trail of smiles.
I'm spending a few days in Blenheim to get my numbers up. This was a nice start to the day. TFTC.
**20,193*A short walk to GZ, tried to make this one harder than it had to be but eventually sorted it. TFTC
Found second time around. Previous attempt was thwarted by a sunny day and a lot of cyclists, so good to finally tick this one off! TFTC
Looked in the easiest place first, no success so had to do a bit of clambering. TFTC
I decided to go for a wee bike ride today from McArtney Rd to the Near the Cob Cottage along the Riverlands Rail Trail.
Another on the Trail found and signed off.
Cheers for the cache.

Nice early evening walk after work with a muggle friend who has a great nose for finding elephant trails! TFTC!!
Spotted this line of caches on the cycle trail from SH1 as I drove in yesterday. Out on a cyclocache ride this morning to convert them all into smilies. Thanks for the placement geopopnz.
Another stunning sunny Marlborough autumn day! Checking out the Riverlands cycle/walkway and hopefully knocking off few caches on the way. As usual, found the hardest route to the cache.... sigh. TFTC
Off to Blenheim for a couple of days for a work project. Always a good excuse for some caching while on the road.
Work done for the evening, time for some more caches before dinner. This time some specific locations to contribute to a challenge cache near to home.
Thanks geopopnz

Stuck in Blenheim for a few days with vehicle problems. Not Plan A but at least it gives us some extra time to cache. Decided to walk the Riverlands rail trail. Managed to get all the caches along the route. Some were quick other took much longer. Knowing they had all been found recently did help me to persevere at times. This one took the longest although it shouldn’t have. I read previous lots and was soon reaching and balancing in precarious positions to no avail. Continued for a while and decided to give up. Walked away only to turn round as I knew it was there. This time I came across it fairly quickly and no acrobatics were required. Thanks.
I must double check these logs when I sign them because I swear the Suthies were last on the log but I see there has been another since. Maybe it was on the other side. Anyway, easy find here as magnets generally only hold to one kind of material and reading other entries knew it had to be behind something. It was. Another step in getting the jewels back to the museum.
#6700. I am back in Blenheim once again on a day trip from Wellington to attend several meetings. These went on a lot longer than usual so just as well I had booked the late flight home. Still time for 2 hours of geocaching before heading back to the airport. A chance to convert a few more around the city edge into yellow faces. I had been here back in 2015 and failed to locate the cache. I see checking past logs that it was missing at the time. Today I wandered down to GZ and dropped under once again to start looking. Saw a place that looked promising and couldn't believe my luck when I had my hand on the cache in seconds. Sweet. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks geopopnz for the cache.
Tough find this afternoon with eltee291! Looked/felt around for a good 5 minutes before finally coming up with the goods. So many spiderwebs, but we survived! Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache, geopopnz!
I made this one way too hard, I was searching under and in all sorts of yukky spidery places. How I wished GK was not at work and it was his hand searching in the places I had looked/felt. After I had exhausted what I thought were all of the options I was about ready to give up. I decided to go back down and have one more look - argggghhhhhhhhhh there it was right there!!! I was very pleased to have spotted it but cross with myself for not checking there properly before. Anyway very pleased to have turned this into a smiley, thanks for placing this cache
A nice quick find, Cheers.
Today was a day spent cruising around Blenheim, waiting for the late ferry to leave. I was so hot today, >30 degrees. The aircon in the car was working overtime.
Thanks to all of the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

We were in Blenheim for my brothers tennis competition this weekend. We decided to take a drive out to on the trail knowing that there's a good density of geocaches here. I had needed to make a closer inspection before I started ducking & weaving around the bridge. Find #362
You win some, you lose some. Having converted one blue face nearby to a smilie I hoped to do the same here. Nope. No joy. After 5 minutes of looking under, over and around, I had to admit defeat once more and head on to easier pickings.

Back again in this beautiful area, which we will discover more and more, we went out on rented bicycles for a tour
Past GZ , drive back 300m and founder luckily quite quickly

This track is on my way to work, and the plan was to get most of the caches down here on one of those trips in summer. But I got this today as it was a short walk from another. Made a meal of it though by not checking right the first time, but all good in the end. Thanks geopop.
Nigel Navigator & I are out for a stroll along the Riverlands Rail Trail on a beautiful Blenheim day.
Easy find here. Cheers

Although the forecast wasn't that great we decided to head Marlborough way again today to grab a few more caches. There was 5 caches to find along this trail still and it remained sunny although icy cold until we had found the last one when we noticed some high cloud developing. By the time we got back to the car the sun had been superceded by threatening rain clouds and that set the pattern for the rest of the day.
Thank you geopopnz.
Thank you geopopnz.
We picked up along this trail where we left it last week. A short walk from our park wiling that sun to rise a bit higher and give us some warmth. It did then disappeared to make way for showers of varying intensity. There were enough dry spells to give us opportunity as long as we didn't stray to far from the car. Thank you geopopnz
After a big day out caching in the area between Havelock and Pelorus Bridge yesterday, NZDi decided she wanted a chill out day today so I planned a quick MTB bike ride out along the Riverlands Rail Trail and back to get rid of a nasty green streak on my local geocaching map. This worked out to be about a 12km return trip from home and had us back before 9.30am. We managed to get 8 caches for NZDi bringing her total up to a nice round 40 for the weekend.
The reason I waited so long to do this series was because one has been missing for a while. Back in November it was replaced by GH6710 and has since been found three times and DNF'd once. Which is why I am puzzled as to why the cache I found had no entries in the log. The only reason I can come up with is because I found the replacement log and the recent finders found the original that was there all along.
Which ever it was, TFTC geopopnz

Out and about on a quiet(ish) sunday morning trying to reduce my list of local caches to find.
DNF'd this one a while back so now that I see it has been replaced I was back for another go.
No trouble this time - TFTC geopopnz and GH6710

Having seen another persons find on this, the torment was tooo much i had to find it ! Finally!! Tftc (and the frustrations!)
With no evidence of cache maintenance being carried out for some time, and a number of reports of searching for it I've dropped off a new container and log hidden in the same manner as the original, hopefully the CO and other cachers are happy with this and it can continue to be found.
Sorry to log a DNF on this one after 10 mins looking over and under we call it a day on this will be back
Woe is me. I spent quite a few minutes looking over, under and around this spot. Nothing seen. If its still here its better hidden than most of the other caches on the trail.
Have been here a few times now - still no luck - and I even took a previous finder with me to steer me in the approximate direction.
Not sure if it has dislodged itself and fallen where I can't reach?
Maybe a check next time the CO is in the area?
I won't let this one beat me.......

Had a good look. a few muggles running & biking past....couldn't find. will try later again.
The three of us spent a bit of time searching for this sneaky cache. TFTC

Holidaying at the top of the South Island with tmann421. Many thanks to all the CO's for making this a memorable trip.

Soon had the cache signed and on to the next one.

Down from Canada visiting with my daughter and her family in Blenheim. Some of the family were busy doing their own thing so crman1 and I took advantage of the nice weather to hit the geocaching trail to see what we could find. QEF with crman14. TFTC
Out seeing how many caches we could find before the junky weather set in. Turned out to be a pretty nice day. Found with eltee291. TFTC!
Enjoying a fantastic 3-week summer road trip around the South Island with our kids: over 4000km under our belts, having headed south via scenic eastern & southern highways to Bluff, onto Fiordland, wound our way back up the West Coast & now back in Blenheim visiting friends & enjoying a few days’ lovely R&R before heading northwards & home. Thought I'd head out for a walk to explore around the area where our friends live but those rain clouds are looking fairly ominous, which meant I didn't have any takers offering to keep me company lol. Enjoyed my walk to GZ & didn't take too long to work out where this sneaky hide was hidden. Nice one! Thanks for the fun, TFTC
[green] starting to go stir crazy - I haven't been out on the bike for a while. So the hell with study and the possibility of rain, today is the day to escape from the military, for a short cycle from the Air Force base to the coop drain just south of Blenheim and back.
Love this little rail trail cycleway. Shame it doesn't go further (like, say, to Seddon). The many eyes of a Seagnoid made this an easy find, however I do understand how some might have trouble. It is definitely a better hide than average!

Thought this was going to be easy, wrong attitude! Attended to attitude after some minutes and hand on cache shortly after, thanks.....a good one
Found it on second attempt. Interesting way to start this geocaching campaign. Cache #1! TFTC
We actually did this as a P&G while heading out of Blenheim. We nearly over looked the cache. Good hide. Thanks for the cache [purple]Our cache find: #2835[/purple] | [green]Cache of the Day: 6/57[/green] | [blue]Cache of our trip: 80/224[/blue]
While travelling around in New Zealand we visited this cache, but we couldn't find it.

Fortunately the only thing lost here was my pen. Found relatively quickly. Tftc
I parked my car by the hall and walked along to this cache. Sort of wished I'd brought my bike with me but never mind. This one was not a quick find. I was all over and under this feature before I finally put my hand on the cache. Managed not to fall in the drink either. A sneaky hide that could confound a few. TFTC, Biggles.
Da meine Fähre drei Stunden Verspätung hat, hatte ich genügend Zeit auf dem Weg nach Picton zu cachen
Das Wetter erschwerte mir das ganze aber egal....

No luck for us on this one today. We scoured the bridge pretty thoroughly but came up empty-handed at every turn. Thanks anyways!
6045. We were in Blenheim as guest speakers at a Philippines Mission fundraising dinner on Saturday evening but had left Christchurch on Thursday so we could fit in a few geocaches. A long search even though the GPS indicated 1m. No muggles around in the immediate area on a Saturday morning apart from one cyclist. In the end I again relied on instinct - and my feelings resulted in a find of a clever hide. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
Find #274 for the BAMMJams - second time searching for this one, and then Mr BammJam had an 'aha!' moment, that had the cache in hand in seconds. Log signed and replaced with no muggles around. TFTC.
A nice easy find while on holiday in NZ . TFTC geopopnz
I did drop this cache; however due to long arms I was able to retrieve the cache without too much trouble

Didn't take me long to find this one, enough information provided in the listing to point me in the right direction. A new nice blank logsheet as well. TFTC
Based on other logs saying the D/T was higher than 1.5, we had a good hunt around, but still came up empty-handed. Will have to give this one another go later.
wow this was a great thought out cache magic comes to mind but logging paper is full and needs replacing now no room to log your visit tftc
It took quite a search with care to find this one. We were a bit missleaded from D/T, which in our oppinion is not 1,5/1,5. Luckily nobody felt into the stream. TFTC
Second bite at this cherry and a succesful find this arvo
Just needed to reach a bit further than last time
Just needed to reach a bit further than last time
After a short wander along this new trail, we had to spend quite some time searching for this cache. It is quite clearly higher than 1.5 for both difficulty and terrain. TFTC
Got it this time - well hidden and moved around a bit but Marcus snaffled it! TFTC
2 pairs of eyes and scrambled all over, prodded all over and nothing looked out of place...will be back...
