Ah, now I get it.
Whilst out test driving the new dog, we thought we would start on the PLT.

Found easy. Log was very wet and pretty much needs replacing. Obviously couldn't, fill log.
We found this cache today at 4:30pm as number 17 of 19 on our Follow the Freeway Saturday Afternoon. We reparked the car in the makeshift carpark on the western end of the bridge to the north for another cache, then walked back south to the second cache from the bridge. Didn't see anywhere to hide a cache but then we spotted it. We would have kept walking onwards but the availabilty of the next caches seemed in question so we moved on. Thanks from D & H B-A.
We almost gave up on this one but then spotted it about 6m from where the GPSr was pointing. Not sure what the hint meant - doesn't seem to be a bush any more.
thanks cathylmorgan & julz76

Co-ords were spot on for this one and the cache was in hand very quickly, SL. TFTC
Gardeners spraying weeds very close by so had a quick look but couldn't find it didn't want to bring any attention by searching, they where still there on my return trip back along so just kept on walking.
Found while out caching with Mrs Cheese and the GeoDog.
As per a previous log entry, there is no longer a bush there.

A second bike ride adventure for the week with PopTopPete and we tackled the new Peninsula link. Our finds were well into the double figures, unfortunatly a number of caches do need some maintenance as noted separately but still a great night out. TFTC's!!!
Bush is not there.
Bush is not there.
So obvious once you see it. Felt a little silly looking for about 10minutes for it.
Traffic streaming past, but they did not seem to take any notice as I searched for the Lil Green One. Thanks Julz76
Tftc. Good start to our second lot of 1000 we definiteot the green light with this one
this cache was a great size for me to shaft so thanks still no muggles around except in cars and because we weren't wearing runners we couldn't catch them :/
So tricky... was it going to be behind or in front... took a couple of looks but saw the green glint!!!
Went back tonight for our second attempt, and it was much easier than we first thought. TFTC!
We looked all about but couldn't find this one. GPS was having a bit of trouble.
GPS had me all over even on the other side of the sound barrier. Spare log was on ground so put it where it belongs. SL.
Very surprised to find this log dry with no container when other logs in containers and lids are wet? Now intact.
Found after a short search. The bottom of the container is still missing. Thanks for the cache.
The bottom half of the container is missing, it's amazing that the log sheet stays in place but a new container is definitely needed.

Out for a couple of caches after work sort of on the way home from Mulgrave to Vermont.
Quick find, signed the log and onto the next.

It looked like the best day of the week, so we got the deadly treadlies out, and headed down to the Peninsula Link Trail. Bettyboo3747 and I joined many other bike riders (and walkers) using this trail today.
Seeing there was supposed to be a northerly wind we started on the southern end so we would have a tail wind coming home. Of course the wind turned as we were coming back!
Like the previous finder only the top was found, but we put a new log in and fashioned a base for it until it can be replaced.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 3758. Robmc and I headed down this way to make the most of the winter sunshine and lovely day to do some of the PLT. We parked at this end so we could head north and return with a tail wind (hopefully).
In this instance it was half a Lil Green One as other cachers have mentioned. Luckily, I was carrying spare logs today so we signed and popped one in and hid as well as we could until maintenance can be done. TFTC

No idea where it is, no idea what the clue meant (no tree type bush nearby so must mean something else)
Out for a ride with the kids, finally got a chance to check out the Peninsula Link Trail. Had a great ride of nearly 20kms and grabbed a few caches along the way.

I am pretty bad at these but the part of the hint and persistence paid off. I think that the item referred to in the hint is no longer there. These things tend to be rather ephemeral anyway.
Hey hey it's Krazy K on the PLT
Me and the wifey & kids are taking a walk
As we were at this cache a car went by tooting and waving, so hello to you fellow cacher

There were muggle workers parked within 20 meters of GZ so was not able to search for the cache. A quick glance over the area and I couldn't spot anything, might have to come back for this one another day.
Have added another log to this one now. As its a bit bigger, the old log is still in there as well.
ABL973 found this while out caching with Square_Pegs. I brought a few travel bugs with me which will visit this cache. The weather has been much better than I expected, although it has been quite cool. Thanks to for placing this cache.
The log is full. I'd normally do a little maintenance and replace the log but I don't have any this size.

A container that blends in very nicely to its surrounds. We managed to find a spot to sign our names however the log is now completely full. Thanks for the cache.

Date 27th Apr 2013
Time 10:15 AM
After a quick decision between myself and my caching partner in crime, SedgwickDave, it was decided we would throw the bikes on the back of the car and head for the newly created Peninsula Link Trail as well as a number of other caches in the area including another cache crossed off our D / T matrix, AKA "Project81". Dave picked me up at 7AM and we were on the trail by just after 8AM.
Dave arrived at this one first and was searching when I got there. I walked straight up to it and made the find.
The log book of this one is now full and needs to be replaced.
Thanks to Cathylmorgan & Julz76 for the cache.

What better then to do a power trail on a long weekend! Today's weather looked ideal but there was a mention of windy conditions in the afternoon which was a killer on the ride back to the car. Joining me today was my caching wingman and mate Ahomburg who was also keen for some numbers too. We started at the north end of the trail, parking close to PLT - Wee One but failed to final the northerest one and well after 20mintues decided to head south see if our luck would improve. Four hours later we had completed all the caches even the 3 newer placed ones just past Frankston Flinders road. Looks like this trail will expand even further south as other sections are open up. It was a great morning and only took about 1 hour to get back to the card pushing hard against the 40km/h head wind.[xx(] Great hides of different styles seen today which was great too. Many Thanks to Cathylmorgan & Julz76 for the huge effort in establishing this epic series. Awesome!

A nice mild night so what better thing to do at 2:30 am than hop on the bike and ride 5km along the Peninsula Link Trail to find some more of the PLT series of caches, as well as a couple of trads along the way. The caches along the trail have been great fun finding and I have done many with my two boys who have thoroughly enjoyed the ride and the cache finding. With them fast asleep, I was on my own tonight and I only had trouble with finding one of the ten caches. Only six more to go after tonight (until they extend the trail). Thanks.
It didn't take very long for S to make our third find for the arvo. Great hide. It will be much better when very thing grows. TNLNSL TFTC Kems
A great day for a bike ride, so why not couple it with a bit of caching. Set off and yes it was a great day for a ride, lots of Muggles thought so also! The Muggle factor was without doubt the most difficult factor of the day.
A quick and easy find. TFTC

Find #9 of a joint ssmc4 & EuDes bike-riding caching adventure along the PLT (which during the day brought up my 1500th find milestone).
This one was pretty straightforward once you knew where to focus - thanks cathylmorgan & Julz76.

Nice little hide! The geokids waved at the passing cars while we logged this one. Tftc.
Found with lochb - not seeing anything much standing out at this location when lochb read out the hint and the cache was located almost immediately.
(If requiring the hint, just remember Kermit - "It's not easy being green" - especially when now you're not...)

Found on another TDC night run, we did the series on bike, certainly was a good ride. Thanks for the cache.
The Demolition Crew (TDC) met up for another legendary day/night caching run, this time focusing on the PLT (Peninsula Link Trail) in the Melbourne SE area. Bikes were deployed for this, and are becoming a big feature of our caching, which is fantastic. A great variety of hides were found, and some good numbers for the night, as well as some other caches around the area besides the PLT ones. My thanks to the cache owners for their efforts in placing the caches.
Enjoyed the trail and varitey of caches very much. Found in a logical spot. TFTC.

Run Summary
----------------------
We've been looking at PLT series for a while now, and decided to take a ride to pick them up tonight. The new link is a great asset and speeds up access to the Mornington Peninsula. The Demolition Crew have used it extensively in the late early hours of the morning to return home. At this time it has no cars on it. That's the way we like it
So once again we are down here collecting caches and having a great ride. Thanks to the CO for all there efforts.

A perfect day to pedal on the PLT - and what a fabulous trail it is!
This one had us looking hard, then we noticed something odd and bingo, cache log was signed.
FEED BACK: Perhaps if the cache was painted an appropriate color!

Out on a run with a caching buddy.
Another nice easy one.
Unfortunately this was exposed so I noticed it as we were walking towards it.
Might need to be painted and dropped down to the lower level.
We made sure to cover it well.
Thanks again

Today (Sunday) I had two missions. First, to ride 100 kms in one week in early preparation for the Ride to Conquer Cancer (http://goo.gl/lQq1U). Second, to do this series which is highly rated. I was not disappointed, with a different experience at every find. I'd taken the train from my home in Hawthorn, to Frankston, and then to Baxter. That last leg is the diesel that runs to Stony Point, and not very often. I completed the series from bottom to top, and then kept riding up the Nepean to Mordialloc, from where I trained back home. A very satisfying day indeed.
I mistakenly hadn't downloaded the description and hint, so took longer to find this one, even though I was certain what it was I was searching for. T4TC cathylmorgan and julz76!

Lii green came up fast and we jumped on it, there were not many others around at this stage and we only met a cacher towards the end of the ride. TFTC .
Found on a caching bike ride with Swaggies and Jyetara, had to check that the coast was clear before grabbing this one. TFTC

Pea bear & I are back today with our bikes to tackle some more of this great series. Had to ride past this on our first pass as workers were spraying to remove graffiti already. A nice quick find on our return. TFTC
Found with BorisB&Natasha on a bike ride along the trail. Some graffiti removal was going on when we got here so came back after doing a few more caches first. Luckily they were gone on our return and we quickly made the find. TFTC
Catching up on some very old logs that got lost during upload.
