The cache is water logged so I'm in the process of performing sime req'd maintenance.

In Kangaroo Valley for a week long holiday with the family. Today we decided to take an afternoon drive down to Nowra, then Berry and back. Easy find, log was absolutely soaked and needs owner maintenance. Thanks Hayzies.

Nice drive to the cache. Unfortunately the log is saturated so couldn't sign. I was not expecting to cache today so did not have a dry log to replace, sorry. TFTC

What a great location. This is my 900th cache. Log book missing and water in cache. I took the following picture about 200 meters down the road ?

Grateful for a car (and not foot or pedal power) to reach GZ on this narrow and very steep road, I just kept hoping there would be somewhere I could turn around to come back down (there was). Still had a tricky (but short) scramble to reach the cache which was full of water. Even the plastic ziplock bag had so much water, a goldfish would be happy swimming around in it. Emptied it out as much as I could but with the sound of a ride-on mower approaching the fenceline, I didn’t have time to do much about drying out the completely soggy log book which made it difficult to even scratch my name in it. Cache could do with a maintenance check.

Another day well spent down in Nowra, chipping away at more of the 50km radius.
Found roughly 15% of total remaining hides, which is pretty sweet!
It was quite hot today, hitting 31 degrees, but I managed.

My old shoes have no tread on them, I found out after slipping on the hill.
Cache found quite quickly, a little damp, but nice regardless!

I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate 15 years caching than with a few friends enjoying the game I love. Today I headed south with steeba and Hoojar as we endeavoured to find some caches in the Nowra district.

Being here as the sun rose over the coastline was pretty impressive. Plenty of birdlife and the crispness of an early May day made this an enjoyable find.

Found on a trip to Nowra and surrounds with Steeba and The Rats. When The Rats suggested a day trip to the area, none of us could say no, there are quite a few caches that have popped up around here of late. We had a great day driving around collecting some fantastic caches.

Our first find of the morning. It is a lot higher here than I expected. There was a bit of fog around that made things very atmospheric.

Found myself in Bomaderry this afternoon with a bit of time to spare. A short detour took me up a road that I have never travelled before despite living in the Shoalhaven for over 35 yrs. I caught the tail end of peak hour (milking time). The views were stunning, the cache easily located, signed & returned to its hide. A local dog showed his displeasure at my presence by chasing my car as I was leaving GZ. TFTC

Haven't been up here for years, there is a bit more development than I remember! The mean green machine didn't mind the bit of dirt too much, and the view hasn't changed and is well worth the trip. Thanks Hayzies for the cache

Great little caching run with the WEEO. Loved the great container and the fab paintwork. Great location, would love to live here. Spotted the Ring of Fire TB but left it there for the next cacher. TFTC.

Who'd A Thought It - I didn't even know you could get up here. Parked 200 metres back & walked up the road. Climbed up the popular way but couldn't see it so came in the other way to find it. Left a circular Traveller which just fitted. Thanks for sharing the views.

This one's been sitting at the top of my closest-to-home-unfound list since it was published a few weeks ago. Thought it was about time I took the detour to grab it. I love these caches that take you up the side streets that you zoom past every week. Great views, but the sticky tree and the prickly bush were annoying. (Tough life when thats my worst complaint!)

First find of the day, on a jaunt between Nowra and Gerroa. Quickly located once I worked out the best way up. Nice spot here, TFTC!

Have explored around this area a few times. It is a lovely spot. Easy find.

Not exactly the Hidy hole I was expecting . Found relatively quickly while the multitude of mozzies found me.
Fantastic location with great teenage memories. We would walk these hills . Very few housed.. Only a couple of farm houses and paddocks for dry and breeding cattle. We would swim in a waterfall in the upper cliffs. Those were the days. How fit and energetic we were!!

Thanks for the cache and the opportunity to relive great memories.
