Found Kids Play this afternoon, I thought it would be easy, but alot of walkers and bowlers around today. Loved the statues which gave me an idea to work on . TFTC The X-Trailers and Earthlight.

We found it after looking for a bit and looking at the logs. TFTC

Found it whilst out with Earthlight and X-trailers. TFTC

Found with a gaggle of kids while we were at the markets. The log book was mush, but we had some spare paper so we added a few sheets in the container.

It was fun and challenging to find, but it was a bit waterlogged. We put new paper in.

My GPSr seemed a bit out but there was an obvious enough GZ, which turned out to be correct.

Nice hide but needs maintenance the logs wet

As per previous log, book is sodden unfortunately. I emptied the water out of the bag and put the log back into the tin to hopefully dry out a bit. Unable to sign, but took photo of cache.

Found but full of water could not leave note. Needs maintenance

It was a very long time but we found it

What a lovely idea for a series, nice way to remember the ancestors. Mrs Kookacrews ancestral memories of play is probably either Dad taking all the kids to the beach every sunny day, didnt even need to be particularly warm but it was always a good play on the beach or in the water.
Or Mum taking us to tennis on Thursdays and when we got sick of playing tennis there was a great playground next to the courts.
Always nice to visit Mount Barker but it has got so darn busy these days its nice to find these type of parks and walking tracks to get away from the crowds.

Quick stop here today cache is all good.

Today after an event at Cafe de Villis we headed to Belair National Park to complete one of the new lab caches before making our way to Beerenberg for strawberry picking but this couldn't be done before a short walk around Mount Barker for a few caches.

Full time nomads exploring SA. Mr Felix headed out on his bike this morning to tackle some caches. Once he returned we hopped into the Geo Cruiser to attempt some more.

Oh my god. Took 3 of us to find it.

Earthlight kindly replaced this cache while attending an event close by

earthlight had rung me a couple of day's ago, asking if I could drive her to Mt Barker so that she could do some cache maintenance[?][^] I informed her that Thursday would be a good day, since I was going there anyway to attend an event
We had an afternoon start and then made the most of the trip by getting back to earthlight's about 9pm[|)][^]
On the way home, we had a tad of excitement when a lovely policeman lit our night with red and blue lights Apparently I'd entered a lower speed zone and hadn't realised He very nicely[:X] warned me to slow down, which I did![^]
Total caches for the day was 5: 4 cache finds and 1 event attended

Gorgeous trees[:X] and a short wander in on lovely green grass[^], which Rex loved[:X]
