More magnificent views. The cache was found quickly in the location described. Thanks ZombieDogs for placing this cache here.Chiefton!!!
Nice quick find this time it looks like it had been moved since last time we where here
Yay, my five-year-old detective and I found it! Not soggy and not too hard to find... it was indeed low down! We left a little mushroom stamp for anyone who cares to take it as a souvenir.
Yes the view is pretty specky even on this chilly day. Thanks for bringing me here. Log soaked so replaced if that’s ok
We didn’t had a lot of time, or patience:), we gave up pretty quickly. The views were nice.
Celebrating the end of lockdown by doing a little geocaching. This one took me longer to find than it should’ve! The log was very wet, and pretty full. Thank you for the cache!
Couldn’t write in the log as it’s totally water soaked. We were concerned it was going to fall apart on us. Great little cache though!
The view would have been spectacular on a clear day but even good today. Loved the drive out here and placement of the cache is brilliant. Thanks for bring me out here. The log is now full and very wet. TFTC
Need to get out from my home and drove the country which there are so beautiful and give me more relax. I know the weather was no good but I still had a great time finding your cache
ZombieDogs, thank you so much for placing it.

With the restrictions eased and after being stuck at home since march I decided to arm Myself with plenty of gloves and a litre of hand sanitizer and head out in to the country side to do some caching, I was joined by my caching mate Omegaman 1971 we did a big loop from Warragul through PooWong around to Nyora and then back over the Korumburra Road to Warragul, some magic country side and views in this area to enjoy on what was a nice sunny day. The log on this one is full and needs replacing.
Thanks ZombieDogs for the cache.

It was great to be back out hunting caches in the sun with my caching buddy Rebel Acts.
I'm happy he knows this area because I was absolutely lost.
The most important tool we had this weekend was the large bottle of hand sanitiser which was used before and after every find.
Had such a great time catching up with Rebel and getting back into the swing of caching.
Full log
Cheers for the cache.

Out for caching day around Poowong and surrounds with a friend. A lot on interesting stuff here - beautiful houses, farms and awesome views. Saw cattle, sheep, llamas, fox, and more. Also saw a dead snake. I received interesting information about ragwort, stone fruit and fox. I had a great time finding your cache ZombieDogs, thank you so much for placing it.
The cows here seemed perplexed at what we were doing here. They stared and didn't even blink, lol. Thanks for the cache.
After going to my auntie’s ashes burying at the family farm at Lardner I decided to do a scenic tour on the way back to Pakenham , also grabbing some treasures along the way. This was one of them before the rain hit.
With a mild day forecast we decided it would be a nice day for a drive.
The kids wanted the beach, but I wanted a nice country drive.
So a compromize was hatched, we would drive from home to Warragul, then south to Korumburra and then further southish to Venus Bay so the kids could have a play on the beach.
We decided though as it was a little warm that we would avoid any cache in long grass and we ended up only doing four for the day.
This was the second of these.
Thanks for placing a cache here ZombieDogs. The views are awesome!

Third time lucky for this one. No need to overthink this. Wet feet will make for a long day. Under the cover of early morning mist, eerily quiet so not a big chance of muggles. 1st find for the day. Hope my luck lasts. My favourite road. Thanks.
It's always interesting to see how the stock has terraced the hillsides over the years.
Today we explored Ellinbank and surrounds using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Heading off to Wonthaggi in the geomobile for an appointment. Taking an extra day because we could. We did a detour for this and the view was well worth it
Thanks for the cache ZombieDogs TNLN SL

Found on a caching day in the Strzeleckis with scarletlake14. Another North American beast for scarletlake to find The views were lovely as the day was drawing to a close and the air was getting cooler. Easy find and off to look for a few more
Nice nite out with the Geo kid's getting a few caches. Little Mr geokid8 had this one before I got out of the car. Seen some big black cows, bit dark to see the views but from what we can see its a nice place. TFTC
The 1st find of the day is always so satisfying. Out and about with geosister (recent convert). Beautiful views even if the day is a bit dowdy. Tyftc.
Out having fun with The Swaggies attempting to complete the Strezleki rail trail series.. 18 May 2016 11:01 am. Stuffed up my logging order so now my find numbers are out. Damnation back to edit the others. So this is my real find 1055. Loved the view.
Out with Yorsys on our usual Wednesday caching day. This time we thought we would finish the S2SRS series as well as pick up any other caches that we might come across. There were some tricky caches in this second series, some we missed on which we will pick up next time.
The views in this neck of the woods were great and some of the roads we were on needed lots of concentration to stay on them. This was no exception.

Found it with some determination. Got wet in the meantime as there is light rain that is getting harder. Great views, although a bit misty today.

04/04/2015 - 10.35am - No. 389 - 2nd for the day - with dgfb33. Views interrupted by thick smoke haze but still good. TFTC
Our regular Wednesday geo-caching run has us heading for a day out at Drouin. This was our 15th and last find for the day. Cache all good.
One of 70 caches found today during a day / night caching run. I headed down the Bass Hwy through Woolamai and Kilkundra and onto Wonthaggi where I spent most of the day. Once it was time to move on, I grabbed some dinner for the road and headed up north through the rolling hills of Kongwak, through Korrumburra, Strzelecki and Torwood before turning west, making my way to Lang Lang and then onto home.
The weather was perfect for caching and during the day I had just one DNF. I also managed to find a couple of caches needed for my D/T requirements. There were a nice variety of caches with some challenging walks and the trusty old bike came out on a couple of occasions. Plenty of great locations and some great scenery as well. Thanks to all the CO's who placed the caches I found today.
I love doing these country road caches, you always end up seeing some great stuff. Unfortunately it was the middle of the night so I missed out on any of the great views. A quick park and grab as the day's caching came to a close. Thanks for the hide.

The afternoon started sunny with a few clouds but turned ugly quite quickly after 100Km winds we saw emergency services attending to fallen trees and plenty of limbs over the roads. Despite the weather an enjoyable outing many other local caches we extend our thanks to ZombieDogs for the effort and placement of the cache. TNLN SL

Found by Mary & David at 1755. We had arranged to meet Mary's brother and his wife for dinner this evening. As this cache is at the entrance to their drive, we just had to find it before heading in. He is not a cacher himself, but knows all about our little obsession. On some of his long hikes to mountain tops, he has happened upon caches under suspicious piles of rocks or heaps of parallel sticks. They were intrigued when this cache was hidden, and came out to see it for themselves this evening, and read the logs. The views here are certainly amazing, and are just as spectacular from the house. The countryside is usually green around here, but seems especially so now after very good rains. Our thanks to ZombieDogs.
Out for the day to do a spot of geocaching with good caching buddies Earthbound Chief. Cache was found Quickly. TFTC.
Out on a caching day with the Walenators. Mr W located the cache in a place we'd already inspected, ahem. Signed and we were on our way. TFTC, great views out this way!
Nice easy find in the dark. Farmer joe paid us a visit as he wondered what the lights on the hill were.. Just us geocaching... TFTC
Wow you need to be careful with some of the roads up round the corner . A quick find TFTC A nice view.
This is the second time looking for this one. We were looking in the right place, just didn't look hard enough (it was 38 degrees after all). Found it easily this time.
GPSr had me wandering around originally, but after looking at hint made the quick find. Hate how GPsr's work a treat then at certain spots bounce around for ages!!
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Saw these come up yesterday & the usual suspects were1st & 2nd to find. Your right Zombiedogs about the views along this road, however the driver needs to make sure he/she is not looking at them while driving. TFTC
** FTF **Arrived at GZ and was greeted by a local friendly dog. Located the cache and whilst signing the log I was also greeted by the local friendly farmer asking if I required any assistance. I explained to him what I was doing without trying to give too much away, He said "is that that Geocaching thing, my sister and her husband does that". I asked who they are and it turns out that they are very well known Geocachers who we met at Wonthaggi a couple of months ago. Awsome views Zombie Dogs, Thanks for taking me there.
Mrs Bounty Trackers said there where 2 new caches only 11km away and that they where only published and hour so ago. So grabbed the key to her car and I was off, found cache and also found it already had been signed, so ftf was gone. I have lived in Warragul for 40 years and I have never been up this road so thanks ZombieDogs for put 2 caches along this road with great views.
