Found it after taking a second look. No longer silver but still hanging around.
Today we went on a short hike along the lake.We enjoyed the many animals in the water, the beautiful nature and of course the many caches.Say thank youTeam sissifalke
Stop #5 the day whilst going for a fine walk along the dam.Unfortunately, I couldn't the clue in there which may delay me finding the final in the series today.
Labour day weekend and Darth_muzo and I managed to slip away from the kids for a night. We stayed over at Clear Mountain Lodge and then decided to spend the morning doing A Dam Fine Walk while we were in the area.Another well hidden cache but I got lucky with the sun shining on this one so it was a bit quicker to find. I signed the log and then thoroughly searched the cache and log but I couldn't find a clue anywhere. In the end we decided to leave it and hope that #6 had a clue. 1 missing number could be figured out but 2 would make it quite hard. As it turned out the clue for #6 was missing as well so it was quite difficult (but not impossible) for us to find the final. If you are trying to do the whole series before the clues have been replaced feel free to message me or read my log on the final to see how we figured it out without the clues.
Probably walked past this 100 times and nearly called it quits after being eaten alive by mozzies but got there in the end! Sneaker bugger. TFTC
TFTC smile 17298 out and about on a lovely day having a good walk took some time to fine read Kolour log just reached so looked higher must of walked past 10 times found quick after moving my eyes and could just reach Thank you the_eths for placing this cache for our enjoyment
Log is very very full, and the cache was almost out of my reach, anyone going past wouldve thought that I was trying to hang myself lol
Met up with old bushwalking friends who are visiting SEQld for a walk around this area - my first time here. Quick find with sausage3 and could just reach. Tftc
Took a bit of looking about but found it in the end.clue made sense once I found it. TFTC
Found with ease within 5 minutes of searching area. It’s a little deep in the bush but marker is pretty close on this one
Thanks for the cache

the_eths I found your cache A Dam Fine Walk #5 on 11/4/2023, 11:00 am. This is my find 4974 and find # 4 today. This took a bit of searching but found it in the end. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
After a lovely brunch with the family for Easter and celebrating mum's birthday, geohubby and I spent some relaxing time at home before heading out for an afternoon of caching and fresh air. Wanting to clear some local caches, I thought heading to the dam would be a great chance for some quality time, and awesome scenery. I wasn't wrong.
Thinking it was a great idea to tackle this series we headed off. When I first saw this on the map I stupidly thought it was a quick walk around a footpath, similar to what you would find at the beach. I wasn't expecting an 8km round loop through the bush haha! Glad I took my water bottle with me, we had a lovely experience.
We collected all six of the series, some of the logs need replacing and we struggled to find a few of the clues for the bonus cache due to logs being old, or clues not being visible. This was a great series to do, and we had fun working together to try and locate them all while enjoying a fairly easy walk through the bush. Thanks so much for placing this series.
#5 - surprisingly still feeling pretty good at this point and not too tired, another good find. Log signed and all replaced as found.

Having a great afternoon out with CaptainKirky caching. Enjoy this series, as some of them you have to work for.
Quicker than the one before thankfully. “Got it” from Billy as a stumbled and slipped on a wet tree log. This log is also full. About an hour into the adventure so far!
Small snake spotted while searching.

A little walk into the bush for this one. The coords were good for me it just took a little look around and I spotted it hanging here. All good here, log signed and replaced as found after the clue was noted. Thanks the_eths for another one on the trail.
I was looking up while having a drink and there it was right above me. Log is full. TFTC
We're out today for a fine walk around the dam on this fine, winter's day. Collected the clue for the finale. Thanks for inspiring us to get out and enjoy this area.

Out and about for the morning with Swearah the weather is so nice today.
I don't think Swearah brought alone her finding eyes today or she is just to busy lapping up the good weather. Another find by me..
thanks for the cache.

Dusk came early this grey day, met one walker on my walk around here.
This one was a lucky quick find, felt like I could have spent 20min but it took about one to spot it
Here I managed to get the clue number with me.
Thank you for hiding this geocache

Out for a geocaching adventure day and walk with Greatgod86. We got heavily rained on but it was pretty fun! TFTC!
Coupla Perth based geocachers that finally got let out of the sovereign state of Western Australia. Got away for some caching and a nice picnic by the dam while in the area catching up with family. TFTC!
Found these caches about a year and a half ago and forgot to log them. Hopefully it’s ok to catch up so far down the track.
With afternoon plans at home, I managed to escape for a visit in Joyner. I planned on completing a walk at Forgan Cove targeting the *A Dam Fine Walk* series at Lake Samsonvale / North Pine Dam. It was already quite hot when I arrived, but there were enough trees to take the majority of the walk under shadow. After looping back to the car, I just had enough time in fishing for a couple of tree geocaches, and calling into Bullocky Rest to complete the *Celebrate 20 Years of Geocaching* Wherigo adventure.
This loop around this small peninsula ended up taking me about 1.5 hr before returning to the car. There were a few walkers and runners using the area, and a couple of kayakers had just finished their paddle, to be returning close to the start.
I arrived at this *A Dam Fine Walk* geocache in the series, and read a few logs thinking this would be a tough search. And yep, it felt like it was, spending a good 10 minutes searching around, before eventually catching sight of the cache. I'm surprised that such a small cache needs to be hidden in here when it is so far off the path too. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and another numbered clue collected. Thanks the_eths for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Hurray! Missed this one last time, but got it today. I now have all 6 ready to calculate the final. Thanks for the series.
Great set of caches.
Came out this morning w/ one of my muggle friends to introduce them to geocaching on this series. Great day out of quarantine with great weather. Found all with no problems.
Sorry for the repetitive log.

A nice quick find here, which was nice. Only a few to go and then the return walk!
It’s great to be out here in the spring time. There are so many beautiful wildflowers decorating the sides of the walking path. We found this one in a safe location, collected the number and signed the log. All good here and time to continue a walk so that we can complete this series before attending the Geocaching event nearby this afternoon.

The Inspector and the geo pup found this one today whilst taking a walk around the dam and on doing this series. TFTC from the Inspectorrexteam.
Well that was fun....
Isn’t there a saying that “every time you hide a nano/micro, God kills a kitten”... I’m sure there’s extra penalties when you hide them in the bush...
Also this hide is far enough into the bush that the previously mentioned joggers won’t even notice you as you do the a maypole dance round and round the trees...
You almost had me... I was ready to walk... glad I didn’t... tftc...

Took us way too long to find this one. Found with tip for previous finder. Things are now LOoKing UP
We realised as we pulled up to the car park that we had visited here last year sometime, on our paddle board. How we missed this trail, I’ll never know! We’re back today to start and finish it off.

Found on second attempt after walking in circles for awhile as GPS very jumpy. No clue!!!!! Tftc
Eighth find of the afternoon. I headed out for a long solo walk - keeping social distancing of course, and armed with gloves and hand sanitiser.
This was a relatively quick find in a nice little pocket - by this stage of the day, my caching eye was in and I was on a roll . Very well done cache. Signed the log and quickly returned as found.
Lovely day - a little overcast and spitting at times, but still a great day to be outside, and away from the gloomy media and tragedy unfolding in other parts of the world.
TFTC - TB visit while I am here

Decided to go for a walk this weekend with the kids and some friends. This is the perfect spot to have a wonderful walk.
Once again looking in all the wrong places. Surely this couldn't be that hard to find. Where are you..... Oh I see you now.

Going for a dam fine walk today to collect clues. Unfortunately there was no clue to be found in this one. Tftc
Hatzofff, Snickersallan, echocage1, Zipzap1 and patrol14 are with me as a caching sextet over on the dark side (according to the latest geo art, anyway).
Found the cache but there was no clue.

Up from the Gold Coast to join geo friends on a day of caching in this local area. Cute hide in the bush but sadly like others before have said, the clue is not written on the log sheet or container. Will try and work it out the very long way.

Great find. There was no clue on the log. Looks like when someone added a new log the clue was not put on the log.

I nearly gave up, destined to log a DNF, but a final sweep revealed the tube in a place I hadnt paid close enough attention to & T4TC1
I decided to go for a walk this morning and find a few caches. This was a nice place to walk with plenty of runners, dog walkers and bird watchers taking advantage of the cool conditions. I had no problem finding any of the containers. Thanks for the cache
