11/2/2024 Find #6830A day out and about with KezzBear and KBreeAHH on a bit of a maintenance check for KezzBear before she ups and leaves us for a new life of adventure. The day was filled with fun, food and memories but with a tinge of sadness too knowing this would definitely be our last adventure together for some time. KezzBear had changed the hide at this location due to works that had been going on. However when we turned up today and the works were no longer impacting the old hide but the new cache needed some repairs, she decided it was time to send it back to its old location. KezzBear grabbed a replacement from the boot stash and we headed over where she made a very surprising and impressive job on her precision replacement, earning quite the cheer. Thanks for the cache KezzBear.

A decision will be made about this cache by the end of May. the changes to the area have changed where access is to where it was and I need to see how it grows back before replacing
Maintenance and alterations were still happening here today. I will give it a bit longer before putting it back
Roadworks are ongoing, major redo of busy intersection including traffic lights! The works are expected to finish around the 30th March 2023
The major infrastructure change is still in progress. Road works continuing. Will check again soon.
Major works underway here. The geocache has been safely removed until works are complete.
Major roadworks are happening here so I am removing this geocache for the duration and will reassess at the end of the works. It is due to take months so please do NOT attempt to find what is not here.

Found was a busy spot. Tried to time it right with the cars and needed to go put my shoes on. The cache is very wet inside may need some maintenance, I did manage to tip the water out, log book is a little damp but no Sirius damage. Nice size interesting stuff.

Can’t believe it’s been so long since this swagger of goodies was found! My daughter was stoked to get a DVD to watch! We dropped a trackable here for a new journey
Came to check this one after a rare DNF log. It is safe n sound in it’s spot.
Exploring locations around the Gold Coast and this is one of the caches we targeted and found. Thanks for hiding.
Found on a night away given to us by a gorgeous kids. Met the owner and had a lovely chat.
What a great cache! Great for the adult and kids.
Kids did some great swaps. Next lot of children should be happy. Happy caching

Checked on this one today and added some trackables - there are now 3 in here for someone to move along
As requested I added my story of how I got here today... noted that the CO owns a “geolander”... not saying a word...
Left some Irish coin and Canada Post Tb (that is a postie truck) that is desperate to return to Canada... tftc...

Loved finding this large sized cache on Mother's Day. Ma and Pa Kettle thought it was a gorgeous size, just perfect for caching. Was easy to locate. Thanks for hiding this for us!!
Getting a couple more in the run home.
Out with PirateLinda. Quick and easy find.

6th find for Giraffe 18 and I. Watch out for the mozzies. Nice and easy find. Thanks for the cache.
Damp Sunday afternoon, what do? catch up on some unclaimed caches! Luckily not too much traffic. Glad the weather is cooler so there shouldn't be any surprises in the long grass. Lover the camo. TFTC saintsmadhouse
Found with geofamily on a fun cache adventure today, nice and easy for geo kids thanks
We were at the Gold Coast to do some cache maintenance, and to have a nice lunch - decided to grab a couple of caches this afternoon as we made our way back to Beaudesert. We pulled over and followed the geotrail towards GZ. I walked straight past, but Mis4tune spotted it quickly. Now, that's my kind of container. Excellent! Everything was in good condition and we really enjoyed this one. Great to have our name in one of your caches, saintsmadhouse. Hope to catch up with you an another event one day.
Auf dem Weg zu O Reillys einen Stopp eingelegt und diesen Cache gesucht und gefunden. Danke fürs Legen und Pflegen und Grüße aus Berlin und Rheinsberg.
Parking nearby on the opposite side, I waited for the stream of traffic to pass before making my way across. There was a ute parked near GZ, but there was nobody in it or anywhere in sight, so I kept on going to find the container. It was a quick find of this nicely sized container, these are always fun to find.
Thanks to SaintsMadHouse for placing this cache.

Didn’t realise the container size until we were on site but proved a perfect addition to our day caching with our new caching initiates. Nice to see a big container with a nice big fat log book. TFTC
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific. On my way down from Tamborine Mountain after attending an event and I stopped and found as many caches as possible on my drive. My only ammo can find for the day. Picked up a trackable that I will move along next week on Norfolk Island . TFTC
Very very busy road. Hadn't been out this way in years, area growing and growing. Managed to find with little drama, thanks for cache! Peanut n Turtle
Swellerfungus managed to horrify Seff and I as we walked to this cache; no mean feat for these usually unshockable ears! Luckily I was able to make the find pretty quickly here and return to the relative safety of the car TFTC
Sometimes our geocaching road trips lead to some interesting topics of conversation, some of which are not fit for sensitive ears - this was no different as we made our way down to GZ from our parking location, piquing the interest of a local canine resident. Dez made the find here and was rewarded with the signing duties of the logbook. Dropped off a trackable for the next finder. TFTC
Plenty of light hearted banter as we walk down to this cache. With my phone compass leading me astray I followed in the footsteps of my friends. The find was soon made, and all is well with this cache.
Yay was able to squat down and not be seen by the passing traffic....then had to wait for the traffic to thin out - this place doesn't actually stop TFTC saintsmadhouse
Read a previous log, after parking nearby on way to Canungra, to help find a route, all good, it's a big container and easily visible.
After a quick bush bash I found the easier access to the cache. First time I've seen this type before. Favorite point given. Took me forever to work out how to get in it. Lol. Log signed. All good here. TFTC
Found on the last day of autumn on a beautiful Gold Coast morning.
Very cool cache!

Always nice to find an ammo tin so close to a busy road.
Boys appreciated seeing a quality container with some swaps in it...pity we never have anything on us to swap. At least they get to look.
Cheers SMH

Looking for a suitable cache to drop the Bee Travel Bug "Stripes" in has lead us to this Cache. There are plenty of small caches around so it is great to be able to find a decent sized cache. The parking here is really good so after the short walk we soon had the Cache in hand. We found that there was no cover on this cache today.
Thanks SaintsMadHouse.
Thanks SaintsMadHouse.
My GPS was all over the place today so I was gingerly treading my way through the long grass (I'm rather scared of snakes) all over this spot of bush!
Eventually I spotted the cool cache, thanks Sainstmadhouse!

Grass pretty long so was expecting an easy geo trail to the cache but unfortunately not so had to find it with crappy phone service. FP due to I now give every ammo tin I find a FP.
Another lovely day driving around the rural areas of the Gold Coast. Today I headed out towards Canungra visiting alot of back roads along the way. Wow there are some VERY steep roads out this way !!!
Nice quick find here following the geotrail. Took the TB which I will take to Canberra for further travelling. Thanks for the nice big Ammo Tin!!!
Thanks for the cache SaintsMadHouse [^]

Very cool cache! Kids eyes were bugging out their heads haha! Dropped a TB, TFTC
Geoteen told me that I had to find this one so I parked at the bus shelter and walked over to GZ. Something caught my eye. A faun trying to jump through the long grass down the embankment, it didn't seen right. As I got closer she tried to get away but couldn't. I could tell she was injured, I sat with her and called geoteens over who was sitting in the car waiting. We then called RSPCA. We could tell very clearly that her front leg was broken. We sat with her until RSPCA arrived and kept her calm. We named her Daisy.
Great cache!

Today we planned a caching run to coincide with the Hinterland Round-up at Lower Beechmont, so what better than to turn a group of green dots yellow! Fellow cachers Nadine 1989 and Geefer joined us for the occasion. All up we found all 25 of our planned caches for the day, including the event.
Now this, my dear Saints, is sooooo much better than a nano in the bush! There was even a very easy to follow geotrail. Now do we have time to fit in the Founder and the Old Schoolhouse? You Bet!!
Found at 12.00pm on 12th June 2016. TFTC.

Was a little unsure about going through the long grass on a hot day, but the find was worth it. TFTC
I think that I should stick to finding ammo cans for a while as I've dnf'd quite a few micros over the last few days.
Lots of goodies within. Left a trackable for the next person.

Little miss geobub free today, and after a few errands in Nerang I'm grabbing a few caches on my way back home. My first ammo tin find, so exciting! TFTC saintsmadhouse !!
A quick find in a well kept cache tin. After a quick swap for the kids, we were on our way. TFTC !
