I walk past this cache every time I walk to the local bakery and as a previous finder (STF) I knew what to look for and where to look. I checked it last January, saw that it was missing and emailed the CO. Sadly, it seems the CO has lost interest in the game and hasn't logged into the website since last April.
It's worth noting that redevelopment of this park has commenced and given the dilapidated condition of the bridge, I think it's reasonable to assume that it will soon be demolished and a new one put in it's place so the hiding spot will disappear, at least temporarily.
Time to archive this one I think and get ready to place a new one once the works are completed.

We stopped in on this one before realising there was possibly no cache here. With so many DNFs and no finds in over 6 months, this one really needs some owner intervention or a looming archive may not be far away.
Checked the obvious spots to no avail... Lots of rubbish around but we couldn't see the cache
we were on our way home from hospital and this was another cache that I wanted to clear of the local list and another stretch of the back was in order. We parked the car and after a relaxing walk the cache was found and duly logged.
Our thanks to Easty115 for the cache, it did help settle my back.

This a nicely maintained park and a good hiding spot for a cache. A perfect morning in terms of the weather to be visiting and caching here as I had the place to myself. Thanks to easty115.
Found with Farmers 5 on a lovely caching day. This one took us longer than it should have. The coords had us a little betwixt and between but were still not bad. We just had to look properly.
Another enjoyable cache find in the afternoon with Alansee.
Many thanks for the cache hide.
Many thanks for the cache hide.
The park features are a credit to the local council to this and many parks in the area.
Found this with Alansee well hidden in its position.

Out on a mini caching run with Pea bear & Boris&Natasha - our aim was not so much focused on numbers BUT to have a blast of a day - and a blast of a day we had.
Great to have a bunch of hides close to one another - we jumped on this one without to many hassles in fact the hide was quickly spotted by Sue -
Many thx easty

Out in the area today with Pea bear and shogun picking up more new caches and a few older ones as well. After logging a DNF on this one recently but seeing it was found several times after, just had to stop & have another look. Don't know if its current position is right as it definately wasnt in that spot last time. There is no way anyone could miss it. Anyway at least it was found this time. Thanks easty115 for the cache.
On a caching mission with BorisB&Natasha and shogun- today. 2nd attempt on this one. Not sure if I was just blind last time but at least it was an easy find this time round. Nice area for a cache too. Thanks easty115 for the cache.
An easy find as it was completely exposed on the ground. Signed the log, took the TB and replaced where we thought maybe it should be? TFTC
I was surprised at where I found it because it seemed a bit too easy. I liked the quiet park on a sunny day and tempted to stay for awhile but...on to the next. Thanks Easty115

Out and about on a solo run today thru parts of cranbourne as quite a number of caches had built up over the past 12 months since I was last in the area. Probably due to the weather there were not too many muggles and also no sport games seen played today which made a few caches possible. A fun day, with only the CBD part of cranbourne still left to clear out, but that's for another day. A total of 16 finds & 1 DNF.
On approach to GZ like other logs I assumed where the cache would be but the GPSr at this time told me to go further east, however it soon settle and zero me back to the obvious spot I had assumed earlier. After a brief search the cache was spotted and then in hand. Nice. I return it to the as found position but the CO may what to check that its correct. Thanks for showing me this area. TFTC easty115

Pea bear & I looked all over/under the GZ area to no avail. Resorted to reading the logs thinking maybe the obvious was not the right place to be looking. PAF'd a previous finder who confirmed we were looking in the right place. But after another thorough search we came away without a find. Thanks easty115 anyway.
Once I saw it, I knew that it was GZ. A very easy find, TFTC. I use to stroll here with my Dad when I was a kid, we'd go on looong walks and sometimes end up around here. R.I.P Daddy dearest.
Clean well cared for park compared to the rubbish, junk etc,,, at the cache site down the road!! TFTC
As we drew up here, we knew we had been here before for another cache, and this location is in almost the same spot. There were a few muggles in the distance but they were not interested so it was found in a logical place. TFTC easty115
Good Friday found us heading out towards Flinders to do a couple of hours fishing book ended with caching whilst traveling. This plan enabled us to clear out a couple of areas of recently published caches on the way down, as well as the opportunity to visit two renowned caches in Cape Schanck and Main Ridge. Cold War Paranoia and Enchanted Forest could not be more highly recommended to visit as they both made our trip so worth it!!
As we parked the GeoRanger, Katy looked across and made the call on where the cache would be hiding. We all got out and strolled across the park towards GZ, Campbell racing ahead to no avail. Once at GZ we pointed to spots Campbell to look at, having a 7 year old help cache does have its advantages, and sure enough he found the cache. Log was signed and replaced.
Thanks for the cache.

Had to fill in some time in Cranbourne today so headed to this one.
Nice and easy to get to.
On approach I noticed the cache was quite exposed. Im thinking the wild wind had blown it off its perch. I replaced where I thought it may have been so might pay for CO to check on it.
Took SQUALID Pathtag. I will replace with one of ours soon.

Well, another week and another legendary Demolition Crew run. I was able this time, to meet up early with some of the crew, north of Melbourne to collect a few caches before heading in and starting on the Melbourne leg of the finds. We collected a few of the recent puzzles which we had solved in the Melbourne area on the night as well. A FTF was part of the mix as well. We met a little later with Quasar3671.
The night was highlighted by many high terrain and high difficulty caches, which included 4 tree climb caches...! In total 48 caches visited, 4 DNF's and a personal tally of 41 finds. A great night with lots of laughs, stories and great company.
A nice quick find tonight as we continued our run. TFTC.

TDC met up on our Monday night cache run. This week we made our way from the city, where we picked up a couple of freshly solved puzzles, then we headed across to the north eastern outer suburbs. Bikes were a must tonight and we ended doing quite a number of kilometers on the bikes. Lucky for us the weather was fine, although it did get a bit cool at Mt Lofty.
A good mixed bag of caches tonight with a couple of DNF's, a good mix of finds with a number of high DxT combo's found as well. All in all another fun and successful night and thanks to the CO's for their efforts in placing the caches we found.

Another Monday night run with trailrunning, Blacklegend and Quasar3671. After a slight detour we soon had this one in hand. Thanks easty115 for the cache.
Having a few caches pop up in this area, it was worth our while to detour here for a quick find. Thanks.
Run Summary

Now that all the hot weather is over, it was nice to have a cool night to cache in and around Melbourne with Blacklegend, Quasar3671 and Rebel Acts. There have been a few caches close to Rebel Acts home that have been bugging him for a while, so I decided to base The Demolition Crew's run around these caches as well as pick up a few of our recently solved puzzle caches in inner Melbourne. I started my run north of Melbourne with Blacklegend, and when we noticed a FTF opportunity in Healesville that was still unfound a phone call was made and we were soon moving in that direction. We met up with Rebel Acts there as he had just finished work and we claimed the joint FTF. Soon after we then meeting up with Q3 after he had finished work and started the planned run
Over the course of the day/night run, 48 caches were visited with 4 DNF's and a DxT rating of 4.21 with quite a number of T5's being claimed. The number of unfound caches within 25 km's of home is now signficantly diminished, so another great night for me!
Thanks goes to all the CO's who have put the time into designing and placing their caches. I look forward to next Monday night / Tuesday morning when we will do it all again!

I spent all day today caching along the Bass Coast Rail Trail with The Swaggies. I told Iain that there was a nice park near my place that was once home to a geocache and that I thought it would be a good place for me to place my first cache. While I was away, this cache was published and its in exactly the same place as I was going to put mine. Oh well, if you snooze, you lose. [B)] Its probably just as well that its in the obvious place because there was something in or around the park that my GPSr didn't like so I just used 'cacher sense'.

Joint FTF with maggieslens. Chilling at home when this popped in. Only 2.2km! At last a close one. We bolted out the door, got every red light on the way to the cache. Nice quick find and not another person in sight.
Woohoo! Joint FTF with Epicmac. Stuck around listening to the birds. What a sweet little park. Thank you for the heart starting burst of adrenaline just as I was starting to doze off a little with a cuppa and the new Robin Hobb novel
