Sounds like the cache has disappeared. I rarely travel to Angaston nowadays so time to archive
Another day in the Barossa with BettyBoo3747 and the geodoggies.
The weather was looking a bit iffy so we traveled by car collecting caches in the rain around the Barossa.
We had been to this cemetery before (some relations of BB are here), recognized it as we turned the corner.
Did our calculations, but that took us to a fairly bare area, our searching turned up no cache.
We will have to give this some more thought.
Thanks, Robmc.

Day 10 of our holiday in SA and the weather forecast was for rain, showers and rain. Robmc and I loaded the geodoggies into the chariot and headed off around the countryside collecting caches where we could. Surprisingly, we managed 26 finds and finished off 2 waypoints of an AdLab we started on our last visit.
One of my mum's relatives is buried in this cemetery and it is such a tiny and historic and sacred place. However, even after checking our workings twice and reading through many, many old logs and even seeing a photo, we came up empty handed. Sad about that but you can't win them all. DNF today.

Had some time to spare after my midweek trip so headed out for a walk along the main street. GPS had me bouncing around a bit at GZ but eventually the clever hide popped out at me. Apologies to the resident spider who gave me quite the fright! FP for the camo. Tftc
A rather sad multi, as the majority of the people in this cemetery are/we’re younger than me, and I don’t consider myself old yet.
My calcaulated GZ was kinda in the middle of nothing, so I had to spread out a bit and think like a cacher to make the find.
Thanks for this multi Discover Angaston, it’s a delightful town.

This is a really quaint well looked after cemetery. The residents here are certainly resting at peace.
Log was signed & dated before being returned back to its hiding spot.
Thanks for bringing us to this lovely location.

After a lunch and a wine tasting at Lambert Estate wines, Mrs Woodyrothwell and I were feeling full and amazing. We had driven through Angaston yesterday and wanted to come back and spend some time in this amazing place.
It was slightly raining but hardly enough to stay at home under warm blankets with a warm coffee. Having said that it might have been. At least it gave us the chance to wear our rain jackets on holiday. tftc

The event at Swan Reach last night was a good excuse to head out for the weekend to camp and find a few geocaches, including this one.
I took a very convoluted, meandering route as I targeted some well-dispersed caches of interest. They included a mixture of multis, letterboxes, puzzles, a wherigo, earthcaches and the odd Traditional. Some were drive-bys while others required a short walk.
Thanks Discover Angaston for the cache.

Thanks for hiding. Good to be having a look around the area. Caching with Wollaston and SeasonedBird.
Today it was a drive from Renmark to Millicent to attend the mega, and on the way we decided to collect certain choice caches, mainly for certain D/T or size challenges
Thank you for the cache and giving us a break on the drive
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Early in 2021 I received an invite from GoosenEgg and Stainless Steel Rat to join them on a caching trip to the Mega in South Australia. As planning got underway some caches with high Favorite points, very old caches, and the On Your Bike Series were listed as "must-dos"
The trip ended up being 10 days of solid and very enjoyable caching with quite a few highlights. The find count for the trip was around the 950 mark when all GCA, Adventure Lab, and GC caches are included. The high point for finds was a day of 335 finds in the one day, which would have been more, but a sudden storm put the end to caching for the day. No one was interested in getting out of the car to find a cache in a downpour in the dark
We were lucky enough to find Gawler Fort Knox, Dustin's Cache, and my favorite for the trip Barossa High (From 21st of January 2001 with the original log book still in place) all in the one day.
Unfortunately, the caching around the mega was beset by bad weather and the day we had put aside for Mount Gambier was scrapped due to a covid case in Mount Gambier on the previous day, so we avoided the area. We all enjoyed the Fishing series and just managed to get the remaining of these before the light failed for the day.
In the end I managed to completed my D/T grid for the first (and possibly the second time) which was my aim for the year, although some of the D/T combinations were not really achievable in Tasmania without a 3 day overnight bush walk.

As we drove into town in the fading light, I remembered that SSR and I had stopped in town two years ago on our way back from doing the first hundred of the on your bike series.
A quick find by budgietas as SSR and I were working through the details.
Thanks Discover Angaston
The Millicent Mega trip had been a long time in the making, for the Tassie trio of stainless steel rat, budgietas and gooseandegg, due to a couple of false starts thanks to COVID19. More and more caches were added to the extensive list as planning was being finalized. We focused on old caches, large caches, certain D/Ts, virtual caches, the On your Bike series and a few other special ones on our journey. Our route saw us caching in Adelaide for a few days before heading north via Gawler to the Barossa in preparation for the On your Bike series, whilst basing ourselves at a gorgeous cottage in Waikerie. We continued on to Renmark for a night before the long trek south to Millicent.
Some of the many highlights along the way were Gawler Fort Knox, Dustin’s Cache, Barossa High and Riverland (the oldest surviving geocache in South Australia).
At the Mega we caught up with a few of our caching friends, made some new ones, and of course missed many who could not make it this time. The weather was not the best in Millicent, and a COVID19 situation in Mt Gambier altered our plans but we had plenty of caches to keep us busy between showers, including tree climbs, plenty of adventure labs, and the entertaining Finding a Fish series - giving the new pole a good workout for the first time.
Thanks to all the CO’s who have placed and maintained all these caches that made our adventure so memorable.

Today we drove to the North and then Northeast of Adelaide to collect some interesting caches we had highlighted from out must do list while still in Tassie, after that it will be the On Your Bike series.
Even with the numbers being down it was great to attend a Mega and at least get to meet some fellow cachers after so long and catch up with a few people, we flew over from Tassie on Thursday and after spending a few days in Adelaide we headed Northeast to clean up some series and then head South to Millicent for the start of the Mega long weekend.
This trip has changed so many times since it was first booked and I'm glad we got to do it at long last, to start with it was just myself and GooseandEgg nipping over for the Mega and then it was a few more days with the addition of 1 toolman, then with lockdown it was back to two of us but then another Tassie cacher in the shape of BudgieTas stepped up to the plate and we were back on for an over a week trip to grab a few caches before the Mega and then finish off with Millicent before flying home on the Tuesday.
Thanks for the cache.

Read through the information and gained the coordinates to make a quick find. Sneaky hide, TFTC.
Today, a small group headed out past Swan Reach and Loxton collecting a few geocaches. We then returned to my vehicle in Truro, and I then spent the next few hours visiting Truro, Angaston, and Nuriootpa picking up a few target geocaches, Adventure Lab Locations (waypoints), and a few others just along the way. A long day out and about in warm-ish weather.
Strangely enough, I managed to find this cache first before doing this multi-cache properly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Nevertheless, after signing the logbook (which needs a new one since the current logbook is full), I returned to the posted coordinates in order to complete this multi-cache properly. A pretty interesting cemetery so close to the town centre, and almost a little picturesque. Thanks Discover Angaston for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

No pen on us after our after dinner walk. So hopefully a photo of the log is acceptable
On the way home from sedan to Blachetown this evening after riding my bike in sedan. I decided to collect a few caches on the back roads.
Stopped by this multi and did some quick calculations, quickly had a final and off to GZ I went. Nice camo

Taking an interest in the old state if this cemetery. I stumbled on the cashe before finding said coordinates. Gr8 clues. Well done
Out and about around Angaston and Nuriootpa today getting a few caches. [^]
What a cute little cemetery that I visited today. Found the required info then worked out my coordinates but it still took me a while to find the cache.

StefTheVet, BabyL. and me were spending a real nice time in the region, but did not have much time for geocaching. As friends showed us this old cemetery we were aware that there is a multi which was quickly solved and we could log unseen. It is sad to read at the information board that so many small children and young people have died at that time. Thank you for taking us to this historic location.
Found on a walk through Angaston while visiting from New Zealand, with GabiG50 and Baby Leo Nz who is ten months old and doesn't have a proper caching name yet...
Tftc, what a beautiful spot with so much history. Had to cuddle my baby harder looking at the number of young kids who passed away.

A bag of Trad finds today which also includes 2 X Mystery Caches and 1 Multi... heck! Lets make it another Multi! This one in the lovely tidy-town of Angaston was next up. Went to the Listed co-ords and gathered the required info for the final. Then made my way to GZ where a clever cache hide was located and it's log book signed at 14:11 on Sat 5 Aug 2017. Spent a lovely day in Angaston...I had all day to discover it...
When I arrived there was a family with a young girl. She was placing lavender sprigs on graves...maybe for Mother's Day or just a nice gesture...
I waited for the family to leave then set about obtaining the coordinates...
GPS battery died...back to the car...inserted new batteries...didn't need GPS after all...found on return trip...
Reading the names & the ages of those who were buried in this cemetery...there are an awful lot of young ones...hard times back then...

Afternoon drive with Pony1966. After calculating, the co-ords were a bit out (first bloke needed to be in buried 30 plots sooner!), luckily Mr Pony spotted it on the way past. TFTC and for showing us this history.
Another one which had eluded Owl, this time due to muggle activity. Today it was completely clear and Owl answered the questions again, getting a GZ in the middle of nowhere. Fortunately Mrs Rat spied the cache without them, as the coordinates were way out.
Just beat the rain shower! Ha ha success. Good thing cache wasn't far quick little hide. Beautiful cemetery
We solved the puzzle, raised our eyes and saw the cache immediately. Great historically significant place. TFTC.;
So I managed a day off and headed to the Barossa for some caching, the sun was shining at it was surprisingly warm for a winters day.
I found this cache today after wandering around and taking in the history of the former Angaston residents RIP. Was a nice clever little cache too once found. TFTC

Walking up to cache location had a idea where it was before getting to gz, due to the fact i was admiring these before even looking, hope that makes sense.

OMG it shouldn't be this hard. Oh hang on, it's not. Instruction to self - read the clue don't assume the clue. TFTC
Not sure if it was meant to be that easy....seen this cache walking to the co-ordinates, not sure if something is missing to make it less visible. Thanks for the find though. Found with mrbuzzy
My first multi! Was parked nearby for work and thought what a great place for a cache and what do you know, there was one here! Tftc!
We decided to go for a Geocaching afternoon in Nuri and Angaston. After having a late lunch from a local bakery, we decided to take Poppy The Wonderdog for a much anticipated walk.
This was our first one for the day. Lovely little area although heaps of muggles, they were distracted (and amused) with Poppy the Wonderdog and her antics with the stick game we play lol
Great little multi and excellent cache container...really good! TFTC!

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! Love old cemeteries and this one is too cute! Def would not have found it if we were not geocaching. Loving were GC takes us! A trip to Adelaide for a wedding saw me packing up my geocaching supplies in hope that I may be able to convince geo-hubby that he should come out with me (he hasn't been keen in the past!)... I did not say anything about it on the way, knowing that he wanted to get to town asap to spend some man time with the groom. Lo and behold he brought it up around Cowell only an hour or so into the trip, wondering if there would be "any geocaches in this area". Obviously didn't realise just how many have been hidden! Didn't take me long to whip out the GPS and choose a couple to find, larger ones then micros to hopefully keep him interested! This made for a weekend FULL of geocaching on our way over and back and all weekend through the beautiful Barossa. Found this on the slow journey home, decided to try and find a cache in/around each town we passed through! TNLNSL Thanks for the cache! Geo-hubbys first puzzle cache!
So it was toilet break time and guess what there was a multi in a cemetery near by. Normally we don't do multi's but this one was really easy.

We had done one of the nearby bike trail caches and decided to pop into the park a little down the road (the one with The Artificers Toy cache) so that geodaughter could have a play on the playground. Once we were done with the playground, I thought we might go for a stroll along the pathway that follows the creek - totally oblivious that it leads to this multi cache.
Once we got to the cemetery, a little light bulb moment happens and we check the Geocache App on the iPhone to see if there is a cache here, and lo and behold there is a multi right where we are standing. Nice coincidence. We quickly had the answers and then the co-ordinates. Off we wander back down the path to the park and then to the car. Once we are at the car, we pop the co-ordinates into the GPSr (which we had left in the car) and oh we had a laugh! Cache was quickly found and signed. Thanks for a good laugh and a nice historical cache
