Great hide, we walked passed it a couple times. Needed help so we went to the activity, then found it.
Great cache, loved the camouflage. Did this one with my dad to show him what a geocache is. TFTC
We were nearby to this traditional cache, so although it wasn't on my targeted list, it made the cut as a "bonus cache". However, it wasn't to be as we searched for 5-10 minute around the tree branches and noting the spoiler photo logged. Given one of the last logs noted that they returned where found and not in plain sight, it feels like cache creep may have occurred? Or perhaps it is missing? Thanks anyway braveheart17 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. ----------A trip visiting Adelaide from Brisbane for the [The Great Leap Forward](http://coord.info/GCA1DNA) Mega event!I arrived Wednesday 28/02/2024 evening ready for Leap Day on Thursday, and stayed with family across the weekend, before returning on Monday 4/03/2024 morning. Previous Adelaide trips are spent with family and friends, but targeted geocaching was this trip's objective, and I attempted to target unique cache types (virtuals, EarthCaches, Wherigos and letterbox hybrids), attractive D-T combinations, high Favourite Point caches, and the occasional pre-2003 oldie, acknowledging that I had found many cherished oldies whilst residing in Adelaide. In addition to Mega central in Beverley/Hindmarsh, my trip included visits as north as Clare, to Aldinga and Sellicks Beach to the south, and the Adelaide Hills (Hahndorf, Uraidla) to the west. In true South Australian style, I ticked off the three closest wine areas to Adelaide (Barossa, Clare Valley, and McLaren Vale). Additional highlights included Barossa vineyard meanderings, boating to Adventure Island in Outer Harbor, drain exploration via [The Shadowlands](https://coord.info/GC18AZY), beach walks of Port Willunga and Sellicks Beach, enjoying a beer at Willunga, and experiencing the Fringe Festival in Adelaide's east end.Today, the day commenced with Largs Bay parkrun, an enjoyable coastal jog along the esplanade/foreshore. With thanks to [weredunn4](https://coord.info/PRC5T5A), I then enjoyed a boat adventure to fittingly named Adventure Island; it was my third visit to the island, and I had new additions [Adventure Island Lab](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/1d247191-ffc2-4a14-ba9d-cf02ea3d7980) and two puzzle caches to find. Following a couple of targeted geocaches on the peninsula, I then joined the St Clair [The only cure for litter is YOU!](https://coord.info/GCAHQH3) CITO event and continued to catch up with familiar friends at the subsequent [Welcome to St Clair](https://coord.info/GCAHQH7) event. From mid-afternoon, I picked up my muggle father, convincing him that I had a couple of fun adventures in store. We walked around Adelaide's parklands, visiting Victoria Park's southern area where their wetlands were a new feature (following my Adelaide residence in 2021). After my scouting expedition on Thursday, I returned to [The Shadowlands](https://coord.info/GC18AZY) drain with the required TOTT, and my dad enjoyed the tasteful graffiti and unique experience. The afternoon's remainder was spent driving around Adelaide's gorgeous eastern suburbs stopping at targeted geocaches, which included Norwood, Kensington, Hazelwood Park, Magill and letterbox hybrid geocaches towards Waterfall Gully. We joined the Mega attendees one last time at the [Light's Vision](https://coord.info/GCAH0YJ) closing event, enjoying one of Adelaide's picturesque views from Montefiore Hill.
Tricky! Well camouflaged. I returned it where I found it, but its not in plain sight for the next finder.TFTC
This was another cache found amongst many with naughtybunny on this beaut day. I had a look and was staring right at it... literally, until my partner in crime saw it. Great camo! TNLN. Cheers.
Great quality cache, popped down after school. Look around the GZ, not right on the location. TFTC
Found while having a bit of a look around the area before heading home. A quick find and all good here.
Find #5689 on 3 May 2023.

Got the cache and stayed away a bit from the GZ. However, a muggle is walking with her dog and looking at me in a suspicious way..... I am trying to be facing toward her to let her know I am not a thief aha. Put it back when she walked away. TFTC.
Slightly different location to last visit but found it. Good fun. Thanks!
#16704 - 9:41:00 AM; Returned to South Australia yesterday accompanied by Sol de lune to retrieve the geomobile, which had been in dry dock in Victor Harbour since my previous visit. Now back in action, and after spending the night in Adelaide, we set off this morning headed to Mildura in the reinvigorated geomobile. As we headed out of Adelaide, we decided to add a few counties to our tally. This saw us weaving our way through different parts of the city collecting caches like this one as we went. All were found in good order and returned as found after we had signed the logs. TFTC braveheart17
In Adelaide with LuckyL10n to pickup a car and driving back to Canberra...and of course that also meant grabbing a few caches. We concentrated on the counties we hadn't been to before, ensuring we grabbed one or two to cross it off the unfound list.
No problems with the ones we decided on, and our names were soon in the logs.
Thanks for the cache guys....

It’s a grey grey day, and the cache took quite a while to find in the poor light. Then I had trouble getting the thread right to reseal the cache. I was in the bushes for so long I’m surprised no one called the police. Must be my innocent demeanor.
Thanks braveheart17.
Thanks braveheart17.
I must have searched this area twice, before one final look and there it is.

Like the previous cacher we had decided this give up after about 20 mins of searching when geo hubby spotted the well hidden cache. GPS was a bit out. Tftc
Spent a good 10 - 15 looking for this one. Camouflage is too good for me tonight, will have to return another day to try again
Just as we had given up and stared to walk out of the park I spotted it hanging. My navigation arrow was taking us a bit further into the park than needed. Tricky but keep at it!!!
It was a bit difficult and covered in ants so couldn’t sign the paper, but was fun!
Quick stop here this morning, cache was easily found and is all good
This morning sucked out for a few caches around the eastern suburbs before the crowds had woken up. Total of 22 finds for the morning
Thanks for the cache

Out and about for one of my semi-regular caching days with geomum, Doctor Owl (and the first one under a new name - something I almost forgot a few times while signing logs). Thankfully there was a lot less time between the previous one and this one as I wasn't stuck in Victoria, as I was this time last year. As is often the case, we didn't really have a plan rather that meadering to a vague area where some caches Doctor Owl was interested in getting, while detouring and stopping for any that we passed which I hadn't got (which to be honest) is a lot of caches).
This cache took a bit longer to find than Doctor Owl (a previous finder) suggested that it would. The cache seems to have migrated a bit and also seems in need of some serious TLC. There was what seemed to have possibly once been a lid of the cache nearby but I am not sure and replacing was a bit hard because the cache kept falling out. No sign of the other cache mentioned in some of the logs. Nice camo though. TFTC.

Found, no lid with camo on it. Hopefully this one gets a bit of a restore.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
We found an old cache container (sans lid), logbook and pencil on the ground. Whilst looking for a lid or attachment point for it, we found a new cache.
As I came upon GZ, I was concerned how exposed it was, so had to take care. Initially I found myself looking in the wrong location, so widened the search a little and soon had cache in hand. Signed and returned; all in good order. TFTC
