Finally! Third time's the winner!Sunday with nothing in my calendar until later afternoon. This combined with a desire to clear some geocaches off my to-do- list and wanting to drive my new car around some bendy roads a bunch has sent me towards Tamborine and associated Mountain. After very much enjoying the drive up (but saddened that the stone pillar halfway up has collapsed), and a few other geocaches,I must once more face my nemesis; this silly geocache.A testament to my sometimes uttered motto of "making D1.5s into D5s since '09". Two visits, lots of time searching and many, many jokes by mates at various gatherings. Maybe today I can finally seek the personal satisfaction of finding a very simple geocache.Down the hill this time (I've come from below every other) and I realise that each visit I've been in a different car. Fun fact. Or not, whatever. I park up and head to the familiar battleground. And in perhaps the least satisfying conclusion to the saga, I find the geocache on the ground, out in the open. A container type I've seen before, and all in perfect condition. And at the co-ordinates.But still, I hold the deceptive beast aloft in triumph and finally after a two-year embarrassing battle of disappointment, this !@#$ing geocache is now a smiley! At 12:10 I sign my name and place it back in the most logical spot. One I must have just never looked at and touched before. Dead to me. Thanks for this geocache, the torment and sleepless nights, KezzBear
We needed to go to Mount Tamborine today to collect a junior from camp so we decided to take the opportunity to cache our way there. After finding one target cache, we stopped to collect anything else we passed along the way. This was a nice speedy find and after signing and replacing, we made sure to continue on to check out the million dollar views. Thanks KezzBear
Out and about on this beautiful Monday with karen rinora. We toured around, and of course found some smilies along the way. Thanks for adding to our great day! A quick roadside find. TFTC!
11/2/2024 Find #6828A day out and about with KezzBear and KBreeAHH on a bit of a maintenance check for KezzBear before she ups and leaves us for a new life of adventure. The day was filled with fun, food and memories but with a tinge of sadness too knowing this would definitely be our last adventure together for some time. We had discussed this one on the way as Captain Terror was unable to find it and we very much wanted to prove otherwise. KBreeAHH bounds over and looks for the cache. I agree with Captain Terror, its not here she says.. and then looks a little lower immediately after and sees the seriously obvious cache! Oh dear! Thanks for the cache KezzBear.
Well, !@#$. Back to avenge a DNF from June 2022, and what have I got to show for it? Probably a nemesis geocache, another DNF and managed two ticks as well! This afternoon I'm grabbing geocaches from my to-do list between Canungra and Oxenford, and this grubby blue frown is on my map. Fine, let's grab that on the way! In my loan car, we learned that an automatic Hyundai Getz takes it's sweet time chugging up this hill, but it will get there!I parked in the usual spot and began my hunt. All the usual spots - trees, guardrails, grass. Many minutes and four-letter words went by and I was about convinced this was a no-find today. Then two things happened at once I found a massive tick crawling up my leg, and a dog-walking muggle was headed inbound. Abort, back to the car. Avenge mission failed.By the time I got home, I found another tick but this time latched on. If you're looking for it back, KezzBear, I sent it down the sink at around 8:00pm. With the words I said to it, it's likely not in a good mood either. So ah, third time the charm in another 18 months?
When we made our impromptu plan to cache around Tamborine Mountain we just picked a bunch of hides in the general area and made a plan so loose that it looked like a preschooler had tied out shoelaces. If a hide looked like it was only a five minute drive away it was added to the list.Well everything looks 5 minutes away when you arent paying attention. Sometimes there are a few twists and turns and then sometimes you have to drive down half a mountain. We took our medicine and learned from our mistake to plan a bit better and look at magical mystical things that some people call contours. Well once you come down there is only way to go and that is back up (unlike a yo-yo which never goes back up). tftc

This one had us scratching our heads as it said don’t go down the slope but the gps had us pointing 20 meters down the slope.
Found it after looking a bit further away at first. Doesn't look like a Tupperware container to me.
Well, after being finally sucked in to the world of selling Tupperware during Covid, of course we had to stop and find this one!!
As others have said there is no lid, just a log in a baggie. I have replaced the cache back together with the lid and base (the base was safe and secure where it’s always been).
I would suspect that previous Tupperware containers had not kept the moisture out due to not being correctly sealed every time, which is a shame as I would have loved to have found my first Tupperware in the bush using those expensive satellites!
Thanks for placing

I made a quick find. The cache does not have a lid. Thanks for placing this cache SaintsMadHouse
This weekend, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T), baby Cottontail and I had planned to spend a night in Tamborine Mountain. On Friday, we walked Palm Grove, The Knoll National Park, had a browse up-down Gallery Walk, and visited a winery. On Saturday, we participated in the local parkrun followed by a walk to Witches Falls Lookout. Overall, we had a terrific trip with great accommodation and excellent hospitality, so a return visit in the future is likely.
Today, we awoke to Tamborine parkrun as a new experience/location, and then hurried back to be treated to a glorious accommodation breakfast. We then had a short morning hike using the Witches Chase Track to Witches Falls Lookout, before then needing to hurry back for the morning event [Tamborine Tea Break](https://coord.info/GCA4E18). This catch-up had both locals and travellers alike, and it was a great venue to talk to everybody.
With our accommodation just up the road from this location, I was able to convince [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) to drive down to this geocache, before proceeding back towards Tamborine Mountain. No issues with locating this cache, although the geocache only existed as a logbook inside a protective bag with no container? I also took the TB for future travels. It also seems that we are the geocache's first visitors for 2023! Thanks saintsmadhouse for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

I suspect the current container is not tupperware. If it is, then they have changed a lot since my mother used to host tupperware parties back in the day.
Great spot for a quick find. Thanks

Grabbed a few with lisylou and mnance101 after a weekend at oriellys with the herbz, on our way to Mt tambourine tftc
Found with bennyboppers and mnance101 today after a bit of search. The sizing made me disregard gz at first, but founded eventually. Tftc
Ahhh the replacement of a structure here has caused the loss of this cache. I have placed a new one here and it is all good to go now
Out and about with oz_bean_counter, and trying to get to O'Reilly's, a last moment decision was made to come up this road instead. Eventually, we'd discover the road from Tamborine Mountain to Canungra closed and would have to double back, but right now we're enjoying the view and noticed some geocaches along the way.
This ultimately ended in us giving up. It seems it's been replaced and some information conflicts. Nevertheless, we looked all over the place here; in the bush, in the guardrail, down the slope. Nothing. Not the first time I've been tricked by a SMH geocache.
But, while down the slope, I did retrieve some dumped rubbish to pile up for council to deal with. So that felt good.

We looked for ages but no luck in locating it. Looked on both sides of the road think gps may be off but still nothing.
A couple of days down south of Brisbane around the coast. We were keeping company with Tenkae, who is a local here and had found many of the ones we were seeking. She politely sat in the car while we went and took our time lifting every leaf and branch until we finally found where we needed to be.
We found this one with Que Sera, to the background giggles of Tenkae who watched us struggle.
Thanks SaintsMadHouse

Domsky and i were looking for this one and Tenkae just came along and spotted it straight away in a place we already looked. Lucky to have another set of eyes. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Watched everyone search for a few minutes before jumping out of the car and making short work of it... right where everyone had already checked. Great cache
Another day at work on the side of the road, time for a quick check for nearby caches on my lunch break.
Apparently there is a cache located within 5 meters of me, well we just have to go and find that now dont we.
Log signed, cache in good condition and replaced as found.

We’re coming down from Mount Tamborine... and looking for somewhere to eat... one of our group is getting hangry... this took longer than it should have... perhaps we should eat... tftc...
All thought some else had checked the spot! Found by Peppa. As pirate Linda looked on
Found with Peppa and 2manytrailers on our day of adventuring around Mt Tamborine. After missing the cache originally at the obvious spot widened our search with no results. Peppa read old logs and came up with a clue which had us back at the original spot with all three of us saying 'I thought YOU checked that spot!'
A plan of grab a bunch of caches on the gold coast was our aim for today, however things never really pan out the way you plan sometimes. We made a list and added a few target caches, then added a few as we passed by, this one made it to the list as we attended to other close by.
A fun find and a nice view along the way and with the log signed and the cache replaced as found we were back to the list for today. Thanks for placing this one here.

Drove up the road to look at the view as well. Lucky people who live there! Quick find. Tftc
Hasn’t been found in awhile and I sure if weather had made a difference but we searched and could not find anything
Heading back to our accommodation at Tamborine, picked up this after reading it was now magnetic, saw some views of the coast this afternoon. Thanks for another cache.

Quick find on the way through today. Lucky the work men had left from this morning. Tftc
Day 24 of our drive from Bright in Victoria to Brisbane, Queensland. It can be rather boring, so we cache as we go. We camped are currently camped in the showgrounds at Canungra in preparedness of this afternoon's event.
After sailing past previous cache, we called in to find this one. Thanks SMH

Couldn’t sign log as was soaking wet, this may need some TLC. Found with krcamber
Out for a caching day with reezielou. Found this one in dire need of some TLC, like you say Tupperware is NOT water tight. Log soaking wet, unable to sign. TFTC anyway!
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific. On my way down from Tamborine Mountain after attending an event and I stopped and found as many caches as possible on my drive. Both the cache container & logbook were full of water. It looks like some of Australia’s animals have attempted to gain entry to the cache and the container is no longer waterproof. TFTC
Not a good advertisement for Tupperware had to tip water out log hard to sign due to dampness and it is a smile for me tftc
Tftc. First checked the guard rail but as the description says, it's not on the guard rail so I moved a little to the bush and signed the dry logbook.
This took me a little while but I found it in the end.
Picked up TB. There really are some fantastic views around here!

New logbook and refilled trades. Left a trackable to be moved on. Nora has almost finished her journeys goals, can you help her?
Applied maintenance to this one upon finding it...not sure how it stood after the big wet.
Thanks SMH
Thanks SMH
Log is wet, we did scratch our names in it. Glad I could drive up the hill not have to walk it. TFTC
TFTC, luckily I read prev logs first to make it a quick park and grab, cache was full of water, drained and dried best I could.
In the region for another recreational activity and did some geocaching around sight-seeing. Was told this was a steep climb and used the slow climb to cool the engine before climbing the rest of the way. Cache in great shape no problems finding it. Cheers!
Wooooo, Co-ords were taking me bush alright. Straight down. Thought this can't be right, but trust the GPS I thought. Then down I slipped/fell. Something had to be wrong here so had a look at the last too find. Bugger!! Back up I crawled & there it was lol
All good, log was a little damp but okay. TFTF.

Co-ords wanted us to trek 19m down a very steep bushy hill. We hung around the top for a while and located the Tupperware. Might need to use the lifetime warranty to replace the chewed lid. TFTC!
Another lovely day driving around the rural areas of the Gold Coast. Today I headed out towards Canungra visiting alot of back roads along the way. Wow there are some VERY steep roads out this way !!!
This is one VERY steep road, wow I wasnt sure if my little 4cyl would make it up haha but we did . No issues with the cache find, signed and replaced.
Thanks for the cache SaintsMadHouse [^]
