I made a fashionably late visit GZ this weekend, does that qualify at "Attended"... [?] The icon is still active so it's only fair...
I note there's a couple of trackables in the event too. I didn't see those during my visit though...

It's all been said by the other cachers in their logs, Thanks catch you soon, Oh by the way if I fall off the ladder blame it on the Moonshine
A cool afternoon but a big warm country welcome from Team Robins. Some sensational home cooking and this Christmas party was off to a flying start. Great to cross paths with some cachers we've met before and meet others who were previously only names. We had a wonderful time at the event and camping on site and we can't thank Team Robins enough for their generosity. Thanks also for the organisation Gaz'n'Kab and Captain Terror. How come you can't give an event a Favourite???
Another gathering in Stanthorpe and once again the warmth of the hosts easily keeps the cool weather at bay. While unable to attend for the whole event the time I did manage to spend there was great meeting old friends and making new ones. Words cannot convey the thanks to Team Robins for hosting these events and to the rest of the organising team.
I endorse everything Bulldozer said. With the addition of praise for the world class pumpkin soup. And I got to stay in the on-site hotel ha ha. And bulldozer72 came along to warm the event. Some very nice people in geocaching. Just read the logs on this event. What a big part of caching life these events have provided.
Just got back from this fantastic event. We could not have been made feel more welcome! Thanks for your kind hospitality. I read with interest Fangsoki's message below about how he felt so new on his first Stanthorpe visit years ago. We too felt that amazing welcome, and also how we felt right at home with this event full of nutty cachers! Thanks so much for the effort you go to Team Robins!
We missed this event last year so we were keen to attend this time. We camped down the back in our new camper trailer for a night. One night wasn't long enough but we enjoyed our time spent with everyone at the dinner and found a few caches as well. Thanks Ian and Chris for a really great event!!!
Us3scouts and I missed this event last year so we were keen to attend this time. We camped down the back in our new camper trailer for a night. One night wasn't long enough but next time we are down we will take a little more time. Enjoyed our time with everyone at the dinner, found a few caches and learnt the location of the 2015 Mega Event . Thanks Team Robins (Ian and Chris) for a really great event!!!
Thanks for the hospitalilty Team Robins. Great to finally meet you. Nice to catch up with the other cachers and yourselves.
Thanks very much to Team Robbins for being our very gracious hosts for this event. Our second event ever and first away from. Thanks for your fantastic hospitality, one of the nicest van parks we ever stays in. It was great to meet so many cachers in the one place and have so many opportunities to try all sorts of cache types in the area. You and rest of the granite belt cachers have added so many caches since the last time we were here as novice cachers 4 years ago. Once again, thanks for a great event, how to be back next year if not sooner. Thanks, team grundies.
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
We love coming to Stanthorpe every year for the wonderful 'Xmas' event. There are no hosts quite like Team Robins. See you next year!
Firstly, I apologise for being so late in posting my attendance log - work seems to get in the way of all the fun stuff .
Thank you so much, Chris and Ian for a wonderful event and for your hospitality [:X] . It's wonderful to catch up with people we haven't seen in a while. I'm afraid I didn't get to say hello to everyone but I have put faces to some names.
See you all Easter 2015 .
Thanks Team Robins. You are the best.

Ahhh [^] Another event done, and what a great night it was We caught up with many familiar faces, many new people, and enjoyed the company of all. The fire kept us warm, the drinks kept us socialable, and the food kept us full This event was very exciting for us as we got to finally announce the location of the QLD Mega as Stanthorpe Of course, if you would like more information, check out the offical website www.qldmega.com and even check out the Expression of Interest so we can get 500 names for Groundspeak approval
Thanks everyone for attending, and a huge thanks to Team Robins for hosting another great event

Yet another wonderful event organised by some of the most generous and hospitable folks I've ever come across. Thank you for opening your home to us once again, the family and I had a lovely time. [:X][:X][:X]
We hadn't been to Stanthorpe for some time had this was the perfect excuse great hospitality as always and plenty of caches to be found, what more could you want TFTE
I had only just spent a couple of days enjoying the beautiful surrounds of Stanthorpe not to long ago, so I was eager to return for this event and take in as much more of the area as possible. The weekend was amazing!!! I managed to do quite a few walks I hadn't planned on doing, found my 100th FTF (thanks Net88), had a ball at the event meeting new faces and catching up with the old, and found well over 200 caches over the length of the weekend. It certainly was a jam packed adventure.
A heart felt thank you to Team Robins for opening your home to me and organising a fun event.

Some months ago as Gaz'n'Kab and I sat in Team Robins' loungeroom we suggested and ended up publishing this event cache. These events have always been high on my list of 'great events'.
As always the effort put into this one was huge. A bunch of FTF draws (and congratulations to Nyssaflutterby for her 100th FTF tonight), food prepared, firewood stacked, camp sites allotted and sponsorships sorted out. Team Robins' certainly never disappoint and not to mention just being a wonderfully warm pair of cachers.
Naturally this weekend saw me camping in the backyard and managing to clear my map of the area once more, I'm certainly proud of a clear map of Girraween National Park.
The Queensland geocaching Mega Event committee chose this event and evening to publicly announce the Mega venue for 2015 as Stanthorpe. www.qldmega.com.
A wonderful weekend of fun, a great evening event meeting new people and socialising. I look forward to the next one, and more than likely, heading back down your way soon. TFTE Team Robins, hugs coming your way

Had a fantastic time at this event. I always look forward to coming to these events each year. It was lovely catching up with everyone and meeting some new cachers. Thanks everyone for organising another top event. And thank you Ian and Chris again for your wonderful hospitality!
What another wonderful event put on at Team Robins place. Thank you to all involved who organised and help put the whole event together. It’s always great to catch up with everyone again and also met some new people for the first time.
I think Tassiegirl and I have been to every event held out here and every year the event just gets better and better. You can always rely on Ian and the other locals to hide a new cache or two to find. The weather while a bit overcast which made it very pleasant and it was easy to keep warm with the fires nearby.
Also a big Thanks to Chris for the wonderful soup and Jam Drops, I know I always look forward to those.

Our first event cache, three years ago, was a Team Robins Christmas in July. We thoroughly enjoyed that one, and the next, and this one was no exception.
The afternoon was filled with the great company and atmosphere we've come to expect at Robins Nest. Some familiar faces, some new, plenty of warmth and tales of epic caching sagas, and fun times all around [^]. The kids held up beautifully too, but we did decide to depart a little early before they ran out of steam.....
TFTE, Gaz'n'Kab, Captain Terror, and Team Robins. Looking forward to returning in 2015, if not sooner! [^]

Recently, I cashed (not cached) in some frequent flyer points on a tent and this seemed to be the perfect place to try it out. Armed with everything I needed to be self-sufficient I turned Sooty the cachemobile towards Stanthorpe for the long weekend... On arrival I was advised not to pitch my teepee next to Bulldozer72 unless I'd bothered to pack ear plugs
A lovely weekend and although there was some caching, I much enjoyed meeting new people and putting faces to names, catching up with familiar faces, and test driving a new caching buddy in the form of T-tech He caches at my pace which is relaxed and chatty.
The Team Robins hospitality was awesome and although I don't like crowds nor imposing on others, it felt very welcoming at Robins Nest Alas as my mobi was dead I didn't get around to logging the sign out the front of the house.
Still haven't made it to a winery or the cheese factory but did get along to the Jam Works with T-tech. The owner is keen to chat to the Mega 2015 events organisers (sorry, message should have been delivered last night). Next time I visit the granite belt the Strange Bird wine trail is definitely top priority!
Many thanks for Gaz'n'Kab and the cap'n for organising a fun event.

I've been looking forward to this weekend for ages. Only been caching since February so haven't been before but it sounds like fun. My only concern beforehand was the camping in the cold.....but solved that with thermals and hot water bottles. So with camp trailer packed we head off early Saturday morning, had a leisurely drive to The Summit, arriving at Team Robins camp around 10.30am. We set up camp ? and headed into Stanthorpe town to have a look around and get a few caches before the Event begins. Beautiful weather for a wander in town and then along the Quart Pot Creek. So many different flocks of birds along the creek, what a gorgeous place to walk.
3.30pm, it's time to let the festivities begin. A hearty welcome of course! And straight to the fun stuff, drawing of the prizes. I was lucky enough to be drawn for the first FTF, and then Swellerfungus is drawn for the second FTF. WOW!!! I'm abuzz with excitement now and raring to go. We gave away Swellerfungus FTF, can't be too greedy, and we only have one geomobile here anyway. So when we get the word to go there is a quick scramble to Zoomin Shroom and we are off, taking OrionJ and nurseyjulie with us. It was a bit of a hairy ride but exciting all the same (I've only had one FTF). On the way back to Robins Nest we log the other two caches as well. Back for a dinner BBQ, lots of chatting, swapping ideas, sharing stories and making new friends. Plans made for a hike Sunday with IolantheK and Brother Colin.
A great hike was had on Sunday with a cracking pace being set by the leaders...I think Swellerfungus and my pace has been a little more relaxed in the past...but it was a good challenge for us and felt great when finished. Driving back towards Robins Nest we check out a few more caches and of course the obligatory stop at the pub for a beer, IolantheK and Brother Colin's tradition after a hike. Too cold for me for a beer, I'll wait till I can get a decent coffee. Bit of a rest to be had before dinner with the crowd.
Monday arrives and it's raining so all plans to bike ride or hike are put on hold and the trailer needs to be packed up before it gets worse. Wasn't too bad with a brief reprieve for just long enough...till the trailer was hooked up anyway. So we started the journey home much earlier than anticipated. Another break in the rain so we stop to get a cache on the way and someone pulls in behind us and lo n behold it's bristracker! We find the cache together and off we go again. It rained fairly heavily all the way home.
Team Robins thanks so much for your hospitality and generosity in hosting this event. We will definitely be back for another. Loved it!

I had heard about this event from some close friends but I just wasn't sure if a) i would be able to take work off, and b) How i was going to stay down there with no tent. After I got the nod from work I booked a spot in a friends tent and everything was starting to fit together. I'd had a few conversations with Team Robins since we were on the QLD Mega committee together and after all of the stories about amazing hospitality and even better cooking I was really looking forward to this weekend.
I was picked up on thursday morning by the Kab half of Gaz'n'Kab and a few hours later Captain Terror had packed the car and once Gaz had finished work at lunchtime we were all ready to head down. We grabbed a few FTF's on the way and about 4pm we turned up at Team Robins house. We were all greeted like long time friends even though this was the first time i had met them.
Between then and the event I thoroughly enjoyed myself and could not have wanted anything that Team Robins hadn't thought of and offered me.
The afternoon of the event rolled around and we had all put on our mandatory name tags and entered our names in a few different things. At 4pm we were able to announce the Mega would be held in Stanthorpe, Easter 2015 and then it was Team Robins turn to announce the FTF draws and thank everyone for coming (Though everyone should be thanking them). I was shocked to realise I got one of the FTF prizes and i invited a few of the committee members to come with me as well as Nyssaflutterby who i gave my FTF prize to, allowing her to find her 100th FTF!!!
When we got back everyone was enjoying Chris's pumpkin, and chicken soups and the atmosphere was great. We hung around chatting to a lot of old friends and met a few new faces and before we knew it, it was bedtime and the event was over.
I can not thank Team Robins more for such a great event and a brilliant weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed eating as many jam drops and pieces of chocolate fruit cake that i possibly could. I can not wait until the next time! Thanks for the event!!!

I had heard about the June events in Stanthorpe last year but could not come.
So I made every effort to be here this year.
Team Robins made me feel very welcome (even arriving after 930 pm Friday night.
The Saturday night event was awesome. I arrived after a big day out caching after getting lost in the back roads and only just arrived as the prizes were being given out.
So many people It is always great to catch up old friends and meet new friends that are only names in logs.
Some plans were made for the morrow before too much good cheer was consumed.
Thanks to Team robins for their awesome hospitality.
Thanks to the team for organising the event as well.
Now to grab some more TB's.

Wow! Another great event hosted by Team Robins. They are the ultimate in hospitality and organization. Thank you so much Ian and Chris for all you did to provide such a wonderful welcome to us higgeldy piggeldy bunch of cachers from all parts. Your home is a haven for geocachers and a wonderful welcome is always given. You even fed so many of us and I must say that the soup was SO welcome, warming, and delicious. The welcome was warm enough to fend off the winter chills but the fire added a lovely ambience too. Christmas decorations were added and appreciated as the theme for the event. Prizes were well organized and sponsors sought and supported. We can't wait for another opportunity to dwell in your warmth. Thanks for a great event!![^][^]
I must say that this was one of the most enjoyable events that I have attended. The first for me outside Brisbane. It was good to see many people that I already knew and great to meet some that I had just seen their names in logs before.
Thank-you Team Robins for hosting the event and to all involved for making it possible.

A huge thanks to Team Robins (aka, Mum & Dad) for organising, hosting and catering another awesome event cache. You put your heart and sole into these events and not enough can be done to thank you both for your generosity. Love Mr and Mrs Searchwise015.
We've missed a couple of these Christmas events, so made the effort to attend this one. Had a lovely time with pleasant company and good food. Thank you "Team Robins" for making our trip to Stanthorpe that much better.
I was really looking forward to this event but something has come up. Hope everyone has a great time.
We enjoyed Christmas in June, with a large crowd of people, all sharing the same great hobby.
Put more faces to names that we had only read about.
A big thank you to Chris, Ian & Crystal for their hospitality, and to all who helped out.
Thanks for all the effort, Gaz'n'Kab, Captain Terror & Team Robins.

I went to a cache party today and I had a lamington and a candy cane, it tastes like mint. And I found caches. And I played with Merryn and Connor and I had a yummy sausage in bread. I said bye to everyone when it was time to leave. I got to walk through Butterfly Forest. Butterfly Forest is the garden that has lots of butterflies in it, that light up and change colours.
I like Crystal. I like to pat puppies, and I have one at home that doesn't like other dogs.
Thank you for the cache party.

It was a pleasure to be able to attend my first Christmas in June Event at Stanthorpe [^] As always it was fun to catch up with friends, and I got to meet so many others and put names to faces. Thanks to Team Robbins and all their helpers for organising such a great Event
Team Robins always put out the best event. And the announcement that we will have a mega here in 2015 is fantastic. We will be there. Thanks TR.
One of my first Events was at Team Robins' abode. I was very green and, when I arrived, I felt very much a fish out of water. But the kindly Team Robins and the geocachers who attended that Event made me feel welcome quite quickly.
I have attended each of these Events ever since It was great to see so many people make the effort to go along. There were many many new faces to meet - some veteran cachers.. some not so veteran. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. I was able to share one of the FTF prizes with a winner (yay for Nyssaflutterby who got her 100th FTF tonight )
Many thanks for your hospitality over the past couple of days too, Team Robins. Also, a special thanks to Ms Wig and Team Robins for keeping me feed with very tasty food.
And, of course, many thanks to Captain Terror, Gaz'n'Kab, and Team Robins for hosting the Event
PS I don't know about anyone else.. but I am most comfy and warm in my tent

Another terrific event at Chateau Robins. Much fun was had, and many caching stories told, plus we heard a big announcement about the Qld Mega! What more could you want? Thanks to Ian and Chris for the now legendary hospitality
We were both very excited when we heard about this event. We always enjoy coming to Stanthorpe and any excuse is good enough for us to head up here.
Team Robins certainly know how to throw an event and make everyone welcome. This year's proceedings were just as much fun and we enjoyed meeting some new faces and catching up with old ones.
The QLD Mega announcement added an extra bonus and we finally reached our 2000th milestone during the weekend. So we are very happy campers.
Thank you for your hospitality Ian & Chris, were looking forward to the next one already. TFTE.

Some for the event and can drop a few in the field.
Looking forward to it! Must dig out my thermals! Last seen wearing them in the Himalayas (seriously).
Anticipate arriving in the morning to set up camp, then get out on the trail.

Now that the cat is out of the bag it is our pleasure to announce that Mr & Mrs Searchwise015 will be attending.
As a result of a last-minute extraordinarily generous invitation from the COs, I will be able to attend.
Having read the list of attendees I am anticipating a fantastic get-together.
Presently in process of packing warm clothes and lists of caches in hopes of making the most of the weekend.

Many apologies for the late Will Attend, I was only able to confirm accomodation today, after finding that other plans I had fell through a couple of days ago.
A snap decision this morning results in our "will attend!"
Me, EngPhil, MissGeosie and MissSuzie, and we've managed to find our own accommodation.
Looking forward to catching up with everyone!

Booked accomodation and have been planning our attendance (it's a tradition now) since publication. Just forgot to log our Will Attend. Add myself, Alk and the two rugrats to the list. Looking forward to it!
Looking forward to another great event, plan is to arrive friday night at this stage. Will be working each day in Warwick but will return each night to enjoy the fun. Thanks again for the invitation.
I was going to head out that way a few weeks back and saw this event on. So lots of planning and I'll be out there Wednesday so who am I not to stay for what sounds like being a lot of fun. I look forward to meeting everyone.
If there's room for my tent I'll be there on Saturday.

Camping in stanthorpe in June, must be a Team Robins event which are always a nice warm and friendly places to be. Will be working during the days up at Warwick throughout the weekend but will slip down each night to meet one and all. Please reserve a patch of ground for me. Cheers
I am coming along with D Sister but won't be camping. Looking forward to lots of geo-fun!
Short of being arrested or kidnapped by gypsies, two Lat&Longs will be there.
Xmas getting closer will have to get wriggle on. Hope there's room for 2+ camper. Saturday night at this stage... CHEERS!!!
Hopefully I will be able to make it down, I don't know if "the team" will be back from their cross country adventure though, so it may just be myself.
Seirra1 and us3scouts will be there. Please reserve a spot for us as we will be accompanied by a camper trailer.Looking forward to the event. Happy caching
I would love to come out for this event.
Can I please reserve a place for my tent and tarp?
And just so Herbz can do some tree climbing I'll bring out my tree climbing stuff.
So others know I am planning one day out the eastern way to go for Sierra Bravo Romeo and maybe a visit to a couple of waterfalls out that way as well.
I will be aiming to arrive friday night at this point in time.

We were sorry to see that the attributes indicate that there is no tree climbing involved at the event. Shame, we were looking forward to a bit of tree climbing!!!
Nonetheless, we shall be there. We haven't decided whether to say in the NP or at the property yes. Will let you know asap.

I'll be there with MightyMouse09 (as long as she does not have to work). We'll be tenting it so please reserve a patch of the property for us. Looking forward to it, cheers Team Robins and Co
Hi,
The 2 secretseekers and the rest of the family will be there! As our muggle side insists, we will stay elsewhere in Stanthorpe but will come for the barbeque and fun on Saturday.
Thanks a lot
Greg
