Unfortunately we no longer live in the area and cannot maintain this site hope all the finders enjoyed the views.
After what I would consider a very trying hike / scrambled ,we located GZ area. Much searching was done over a fairly extensive area and time running out, we had to submit to defeat!!] BUT WE WILL RETURN!!! Thanks Tomcatwolf

Found again while on a hike, took me ages to find it this time but finally got it!!! It’s not far of the track
Day 28 Mainland trip
Caching around Tamworth with Tassie Trekkers and this was one we found. Mr T and Mr W decided to walk to Flagstaff Mountain and then onto Bald Hill collecting caches as they climbed. From Flagstaff Mountain Mr T and Mr W went across the ridge, down and up to get to this cache. Once there it took quite a while to locate but find it they did and off to the next cache. At least it is downhill now. TFTC

Caching in and around Tamworth, we picked up a few caches with Mr Whitewebbs and this was one of them.
After picking up the caches at the lookout we then tackled the caches on the walking trails in this area taking us about 3 and a half hours to do the circuit finding 5 caches on the way. We had great views from walking the trails, a good day out with Mr W, seeing the views of this area. This took a long time to find, but the sunset shon the way and we finally made the find!!! after a more detailed search., cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Having wandered from Oxley Lookout,
past the Marsupial Park,
and episode one of this cache series,
it was time to head up the path less followed
Only 520 metres away according to the GPS.
from the other cache
Trying very hard to ignore the obvious elevation difference between the last cache,
and this one,
I headed off along the trail
How hard could it be ??
On a warmish, humid Tamworth morning this climb got the sweat forming on me brow
So 520 metres horizontal divided by 180 metres vertical climb gives a gradient of ... ??
You work it out !!
And it felt like it too !!
At the top the views were great.
And the cache a quick find [^]
Now for the enjoyable bit ...
... the tumble back down the hill
TFTC
Fave dance time !!

TFTC, a hard steep walk but at least it was a well defined track for the most parts. Searching around GZ for ages getting frustrated, just about to give up and a little bit of green tube at the right angle presented itself. At least the walk back down was more relaxing.
Found after lots of searching. GPS was about 10m off. Walked around from flagstaff, following a goat track marked by yellow paint...
Tricky to find as GPS was off but we were very relieved that we did after our massive hike! TFTC!
That terrain isn't a 3 it's definitely more like a 7
Bugger off it's not goat country I didn't see any because there not that stupid to go up it

Found it. Superb views from up here. I dispute that it's not mountain goat country, it is for 60 year old
Certainly is a good view.
Also a good reminder of how ' out of condition ' I've become.
Cheers.

500m as the crow flies but 2.5km up a mountain: challenge accepted. I made that mountain my b!tch! TFTC
Wow that is a steep climb. Took 40 minutes from car park, 1.6kms. Great view. Appreciated spoiler photo as we initially couldn't find it. Thanks for new cache and a reason to climb this mountain.
We started our walk from the other side and walked 1.5 kms, mostly up. The Gun Club were firing but we weren't, that hill was steep. We looked for quite a while for the cache but in the end we trusted the GPS and there is was and easy to see from the right angle! Took in the amazing views then back down that hill. TFTC Tomcatwolf.
Crikey! We're exhausted. Well I am, the kids are fine. When we finally reached the 'summit', I began looking for a good spot for a scenic photo of the view. We hadn't started our search yet, I looked down to step and YAY! Kids felt a bit ripped off but I was quite pleased with myself
A mountain goat would certainly be at home up here. Found by geokid with 'future knights'. TFTC
Whoop whoop, first to not find and FTF, can't believe I trekked up that mountain two days in a row just to be the first.
Note to fellow cachers: if the sun out take water, if it wet rocks slippery- especially on the way down.
Located cache right in the middle of yesterdays search area.
TFTC tomcatwolf and the neat coin.

Bummer. Chance at a FTF but couldn't find it. Found gz and the GPS was jumping around its usual 5-6m variance but to many possible hiding places, searched for half hour but didn't know what I was looking for. Would love to see a pic when someone finds it so I can see how close I was.
