On a day trip with Smrff78 and Grub62. Grub62 found this cache while I was looking elsewhere. Very well camouflaged. Thanks for the entertainment and TFTC.
Tricky, Tricky, Tricky !! .. But soon. "Hip Hip Horay !!" Do the HAPPY DANCE !! Found it, with Grubb62 & Bundoorian !! SL,TFTC
Out for a day of adventure with Smrff78 and bunadoorian enroute to Echuca and Moama. I choose this cache as it was in a new LGA for Smrff78 and a place bunadoorian and I had never been to. I found this cache first while the other two were looking elsewhere. TFTC and for bringing us here BernieH. We had our morning tea nearby watching light planes practising landing and takeoffs.
Wow, BernieH! I always thought I had a knack for creating devious caches, but this one definitely takes the cake. It's easily in my top ten for being devilishly clever and downright evil. Crusty and I were on the verge of throwing in the towel after what felt like an eternity of searching. We scrutinized every inch of the area, convinced we had covered all the bases. I swear I checked that particular spot four times, inch by inch, and still came up empty-handed! Then, out of the blue, Derek casually says, 'Oh, there it is.' I couldnt believe my eyes! How on earth did we miss it? Its like it magically appeared out of nowhere! Kudos to you for such a brilliant hide, BernieH. This was a real brain-teaser and a fantastic find. Thanks for the challenge!
After caching around Rushworth yesterday, Juzzmagic and I turned off the highway to locate this cache today. The description of the cache had us looking for something different, but reading previous logs had us looking for something else. Even then, it took us some time to discover the devilish device. Thanks for placing the cache, BernieH
Lower to the ground than we thought it would be, but still in the green stuffTFTC
We were just about to give up, in fact I thought we had given up when I heard "found it!". I think the original container format would have been nicer - this is pure evil!
We were accidental tourists here having missed the turnoff even though the GPS was politely reminding us how easy it is to ignore it nowadays. All good though, we drove up the quiet road and all hopped out. If it wasn't for Spiffy's spotting we could have been here for a while - a well camouflaged cache. I was surprised as it was not quite what I was expecting, or looking for! Thanks BernieH
A plan was hatched to go to my first Central Victorian geocaching event so we headed off with Snips and Co for a one day road trip from the south of Melbourne up to Tatura. While chatting along the highway I wasn't concentrating properly and mixed my exit so it randomly took us near the airport and this cache with a short diversion. My keen eye soon spotted this one and we headed on our way. Thanks BernieH for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Halfway back to the car. Decided to do one last search. Right choice.Nice cache, though it wasn't quite as described in the description.
Found after some searching. Ending up finding something MUCH smaller than in the description good find

Visiting a muggle friend (who very thankfully is happy to cache with me) - together made this easy find
While up in Shepparton for the Running Festival, we kicked off the weekend with the Euroa Parkrun, then breakfast in town. Then, off exploring the area to tick of the few caches we had left in the area
Nice easy find tftc

Thanks for the quick find. Some interesting history.
A local bird came and said hi while I was signing the log. And some explosion noise coming from the army base not too far away.

Doing caches around Seymour today I’d thought I’d venture out to do this as well. Easy find on this very drizzly wet day. No planes or gliders spotted. TFTC
Happy Australia Day everyone and it looks like it’s a good day to go for a drive and pick up a few caches up north of Melbourne.
Air con and cruise control on, plenty of water in the fridge so off I go.
After spending the morning in Seymour and nearly clearing that town out of caches it was time to keep heading North to the next town which is Longwood.
After completing Longwood, it was time to head back towards Melbourne but I took the old Hume Hwy through Locksley and then Avenel.
Spotted this one on the map and remembering my brother in law used to work at Mangalore Airport and since it was not that much out of the way time to make it a smiley.
Pasted Kestrel on the way in which has a nice set up and then realised who they were, a very nice chopper set up.
A nice entrance road in and with a great set of coords I soon added my name to the log.
Thanks BernieH TFTC.

After a long period of covid inspired non-caching, I finally got a chance to knock over a few on the way to Nagambie.
An easy find while at mangalore assisting a friend with his twice yearly aerial wildlife survey.
Was over this way fulfilling a requirement of a wherigo cache I'm working on so thought I'd mark off another day on the calendar with this quick park and grab. These trees are great for hiding caches. TFTC
Have driven so close to this one so many times but have never been able to stop ………… til today. On our way to Melbourne and took this little detour. After signing the log we pulled over to say hello to some very new lambs

Found on my way from Seymour to Nagambie to do a reccy for tomorrow. After turning too soon, once at GZ the cache was quickly found.
Thanks for being part of my adventures.

Interesting place to come - hadn't heard of it before. Great hiding spot, the coordinates were dead on!

While observing the current restrictions and guidelines to stay safe during the Covid 19 pandemic, this is one of the caches we found as we made our way to Toolamba.
A somewhat hesitant approach here as evidence of extensive tree trimming covered the roadsides and a worker near by. Yes the cache was still in tact and we had an interesting chat with the grounds staff.
Our thanks to 'BernieH' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

Easy find here today by Mrs Perpetuallylost. The two tawny frogmouth owls in this tree didn't appreciate us being here though!
Thx BernieH ftc, we enjoyed touring around the district today on a wet day.

After an amazing few days at the St Arnaud Mega, it was time to start the long journey home to Sydney with Tardis0061. Of course we would take the opportunity to visit a few additional LGAs as well as add some more numbers to our Vic Sudoku grid.
My iPhone was sending me in circles at this cache but once we had the right area, Tardis made a quick find.

With "local" caches getting further and further away, maybe I should consider using this place as a home base. Plenty of very useful looking TOTTs just sitting around here.
Thanks BernieH for my midweek fix with this clean dry driveby cache found signed and returned in good condition.

Mr Team GBS loves aeroplanes ️ and so of course we had to come and search for this cache, which we soon found once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and for the interesting information on the cache page. Greetings from Zimbabwe
Rex and I headed to Melbourne for the day as I had a job interview there. I didn't get the job but I do now have a job in a wonderful workplace with an amazing team [^][:X]
Only 3 caches were looked for today but we found all 3
Almost midnight and I still managed to get muggled out here by a lovely man whose friend owns the airport!
We chatted for ages and I learned about his elderly and ill mother who he had come here to see but had instead spent his time here in hospital after contracting an illness himself [xx(]
He liked Rex and shared his tea with him
Finally I've gotten this closest to the road cache out off of the GPSr now... might be time to tackle the CO's other closest to the road cache soon!
As I have been about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up.
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! [^]
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby

This was our last day here in Echuca and we had a few more solved puzzles to grab. The weather was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed another day here. Once again, thanks to the CO's for their efforts. We can't wait to return here. We grabbed a few on the way home to Geelong as well. TFTC BernieH
