Wonderful views at every turn. This cache location was no different. Thanks ZombieDogs for making us get out of the car and take it all in.Chiefton!!!
It's a very good view up here! A bit stinky and had to park on an angle but still found it! TFTC
My five-year-old daughter and I found this treasure near(ish) to our house. It is our first Geocaching find and we are very excited to be real detectives! We have added a little froggy gift for the next person to come along. This is especially appropriate, as there are so many frogs in this area. Happy Geocaching!
I had a half day at work and finished up around noon, so what should I do with my extra time... Cache of course! With all the extra time I had today, I decided to drive a bit further away than I normally would and do some caching in some new areas. My plan was to try and target a few caches that would help me work towards some challenge caches that I have had my eye on. So when I saw that the [CO's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=54c55da6-9da5-4f85-93d5-2578c349568d&wid=c07aec6a-a6b0-4073-b794-6ac8f454fb9b&ds=2) name of this cache started with the letter **"Z"**, it was quickly added to today's targets. I have been on the hunt for COs whose caching names start with the letter **"Z"** as I have been slowly working on trying to qualify for [BettyBoo3747's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=b428cb40-4402-4727-be59-629514313117&wid=efcfa057-31c5-4aad-9223-76e47bc18125&ds=2) [Z-Z-Z - Challenge (GC4JHFA)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC4JHFA). This one turned out to be a nice quick and easy park and grab. With no traffic today, I was able to pull off on the side of road. It was then only about a minute or so of searching before the cache was in hand and the logbook signed. I ended up picking up a [Boo Boo Bear (TB7Y8T2) trackable](https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?tracker=TB7Y8T2) from a previous cache I found today, but due to the size of this cache I will just "dip" it here and keep it moving. A big thanks goes to [ZombieDogs](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=54c55da6-9da5-4f85-93d5-2578c349568d&wid=c07aec6a-a6b0-4073-b794-6ac8f454fb9b&ds=2) for the fun today. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status**The cache container was in good shape. The attachment mechanism still seemed strong and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
Not sure what I like the most the view or the cute cow scratching .. but if i was a cow I would be slightly pissed off with the steep hills. Quick find on this cache unlike the other I DNF.
Tftc TerryJay. Bride off to the big smoke to see '& Juliet' and so geohound and I are free for an afternoon of hunting.
Gorgeous views on a wonderful Spring day.

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.

Outing for the day I had a great time finding your cache ZombieDogs, thank you so much for placing it.
I took advantage of the sunshine today and did a spot of geocaching. This one was a pretty quick find! Thank you!
This was my first weekend in Melbourne for months, owing to some birthday and other engagements. Saturday was free however so I teamed up with OzHockeyChick to go exploring for the day.
A relatively quick find at GZ as the light is slowly failing us. Mooooo

It was great to be back out hunting caches in the sun with my caching buddy Rebel Acts.
I'm happy he knows this area because I was absolutely lost.
The most important tool we had this weekend was the large bottle of hand sanitiser which was used before and after every find.
Had such a great time catching up with Rebel and getting back into the swing of caching.
Cheers for the cache.

With the restrictions eased and after being stuck at home since march I decided to arm Myself with plenty of gloves and a litre of hand sanitizer and head out in to the country side to do some caching, I was joined by my caching mate Omegaman 1971 we did a big loop from Warragul through PooWong around to Nyora and then back over the Korumburra Road to Warragul, some magic country side and views in this area to enjoy on what was a nice sunny day. Lof was just mush on this one and needs replacing.
Thanks ZombieDogs for the cache.

TFTC, had a couple of moogles watching closely... geo-toddler tripped a few times on the fallen branches... beware of the old discarded barbwire... log is full and a little damp so couldn’t sign it but the case itself is in good condition
I'm a little out of touch having had a long break doing up my new home. It is lovely out this way but geez it would make for hard farming. Such steep hills. This evening there is a chill in the air, indicative of winter on the way. The light is golden and sky, clear. You wouldn't even realise the world was in melt down out here.
The cache didn't take me long to find though the log book is wet and full. Thanks for bringing me to such a lovely place. It helped me pass time while waiting for my supplier to arrive. Of all things my toilet broke and I need a new one. The former owner was a bodge master. Tftc

Lots of nice healthy cows around here. It is a lovely area to explore. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
Out for caching day around Poowong and surrounds with a friend. A lot on interesting stuff here - beautiful houses, farms and awesome views. Saw cattle, sheep, llamas, fox, and more. Also saw a dead snake. I received interesting information about ragwort, stone fruit and fox. I had a great time finding your cache ZombieDogs, thank you so much for placing it.
I found this after 999Hunter had walked passed it twice.

While my wife ran the Hallora marathon, 999HK and myself thought we would collect a number of caches in the area. We knew it would take her some time to run the 42 km from Hallora to Drouin, to Warragul, then back to Drouin and back to Warrigul where we would cheer her over the finish line. Got to be happy with 22 Smileys and 0 DNFs.
Lots of loose, rusty barbared wire on ground right at GZ.

On my day out for work pd so made trip home adventurous to go searching for geocaches to make up for Saturday work. Thanks
Quick find on a wet and grey day. Managed to scratch ourselves on the barbed wire, even though we read the warnings first. Impressive Wombat hole, TFTC!
Out enjoying the drive in hills today and picking up a few caches.
Took a few minutes to locate this one but got it eventually. Even got tangled up in the resident rusty barbed wire - despite multiple warnings

Since moving from New Zealand in 2016 I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T all multiple times.
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go to is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
I enjoy finding well maintained caches in fun and unique cache containers. No one likes finding a mint tin – but a find is a find after all.
I’m currently working on a Project-GC challenge to get the average word count on my logs over 200 words.
So please ignore the rest of this log as it is just nonsense and song lyrics.
Well she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin' that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, and if she had to die
Tryin' she, had one little promise
She was gonna keep
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well, It was kind of cold that night
She stood alone on her balcony
She could hear the cars roll by
Out on 441
Like waves crashin' on the beach
And for one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God it's so painful, when
Something that's so close
And still so far out of reach
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well I'm a-runnin' down the road try'n to loosen my load
I've got seven women on my mind
Four that want to own me, two that want to stone me
One says she's a friend of mine
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy
Lighten up while you still can
Don't even try to understand
Just find a place to make your stand, and take it easy
Well, I'm a standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona
Such a fine sight to see
It's a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford
Slowin' down to take a look at me
Come on, baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
We may lose and we may win, though we will never be here again
So open up I'm climbin' in, so take it easy
Well, I'm a runnin' down the road tryin' to loosen my load
Got a world of trouble on my mind
Lookin' for a lover who won't blow my cover, she's so hard to find
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels make you crazy
Come on baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
Oh, we got it easy
We oughta take it easy

A lovely area for an afternoon drive with Mum. Watch out for rusty Barb Wire hidden amongst the grass. Wombat hole definitely worth a look.
Today we explored Ellinbank and surrounds using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find.

Found on a caching day in the Strzeleckis with scarletlake14. After finding a similar cache earlier in the day and enlightening scarletlake to the reality that he was not actually looking for a North American beast - we continued the jokes while on the hunt for this hide. It was an easy enough find but we did see the potentially dangerous barbed wire - I managed to avoid it while on our exit it attempted to trap scarletlake. A cute bunch of trees on the Grand Ridge Road - one that I would like to complete in its entirety though I'm not sure that I have an appropriate car. It's good condition either ends but the last time I ventured towards the middle it was very average! Thanks for the hide
Because I was being over cautious with the barbed wire NoonaB got to this one first. Then as we were leaving a stray piece of barb wire embedded itself in my shoelace! Thanks for the find
A nice cache to finish the day with. 7 of 7 today, and all were different. Thanks for the cache ZombieDogs, and for taking me off the main road and through the hills.
Thought we'd head out and do a bit of caching today finally having a nice enough day to do so. Once we arrived at gz it was clear we should of packed gumboots with steel bottoms so much barb wire all over the grass it was getting stuck in our shows but alas it was the only way to retrieve the cache. Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! Our journey started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island, before heading to Melbourne via Goolwa, Strathalbyn, Coorong, Mount Gambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. The second leg of our journey was a fabulous 9 days in Tasmania. Having then returned to Melbourne we set off on the third leg of our journey, which is to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory (where we are heading to at present), Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. After a visit to Sydney we will travel on to the Gold Coast, then after spending a few days in the nearby mountainous birding hotspots, followed by an overnight trip to Fraser Island, we will fly from Brisbane to Cairns, visiting yet more good birding sites. We will then drive up to Cape Tribulation before heading back south again to Port Douglas and a day out on the Great Barrier Reef. We then return to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs, where we will hire a 4x4 camper and set off for a week on the circuit to and from Kings Canyon and Ayers Rock. We then fly to Darwin from where we will spend the last two weeks of our holiday making our way to Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
A nice quick find at Ground Zero on this very pretty scenic drive, especially on this beautifully warm and sunny day. Thanks so much for the cache.

Out with Yorsys on our usual Wednesday caching day. This time we thought we would finish the S2SRS series as well as pick up any other caches that we might come across. There were some tricky caches in this second series, some we missed on which we will pick up next time.
Thanks for the warning about the barbed wire, I should have read the cache notes properly. We thought this had gone missing but no Yorsys found it where it should be.

Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.

After spending much of the day helping to retire at a friend's farm, we decided to grab a couple of caches on the way home. Definitely be careful of the barbed wire! Tftc.
Found this afternoon whilst in the area. First search didn't turn up anything, took a few minutes break whilst on a phone call and on second attempt found it. Clever hide. When you stop in this area you get the opportunity to take in the great views. Thanks for the hide.
With ceebee2013. The log in this cache is quite small and is running out of room. TFTC.

On an RDO today so I'm out and about on The Caching Run to see where it takes me. Left home in Vermont at 7:00 am and headed for Drouin first then down through Lardner, into Strzelecki and across to Poowong, then down to Loch for lunch. From there it's back to Korumburra and down through Kongwak and into Wonthaggi after which I head over to the Powlett River for a wander in the sand dunes and then back to Melbourne for orienteering in Brighton. I'm sure there were a bunch of other places mixed in there as well but who's counting? Arrived home at 9:00 pm, what a day!
I wish I was a cow now filling out my days cache logs. Quick find and log although I was observed during the whole process.

I had loaded up the car and was heading over to Wonthaggi for Gonefishen07's & Hearse68's Mid Year Dinner Event, so as one does, I found some caches on the way.
Arrived at GZ, it was raining, it was windy and it was cold. The bovines must had headed somewhere were it was warm as there was not one to be seen.
I hunted around for a bit and then looked at the clue. I found it after the third attempt.

Took a few minutes to spot this one, and as we were signing the log a car pulled up and asked us what we were up to. Turned out it was the property owner, who was a bit worried we were up to no good. Our explanation of geocaching satisfied him that his fences were safe and he headed off. No cows in the vicinity of GZ today, but lots further up the road (in paddocks) as we headed on. Signed log at 12:30pm with 4MAAL.

One of 70 caches found today during a day / night caching run. I headed down the Bass Hwy through Woolamai and Kilkundra and onto Wonthaggi where I spent most of the day. Once it was time to move on, I grabbed some dinner for the road and headed up north through the rolling hills of Kongwak, through Korrumburra, Strzelecki and Torwood before turning west, making my way to Lang Lang and then onto home.
The weather was perfect for caching and during the day I had just one DNF. I also managed to find a couple of caches needed for my D/T requirements. There were a nice variety of caches with some challenging walks and the trusty old bike came out on a couple of occasions. Plenty of great locations and some great scenery as well. Thanks to all the CO's who placed the caches I found today.
I left the main road to find the two Zombiedog's cache along this road. First stop and a nice quick find. Love the country road caches. Thanks ZD.
