After working our way thru this interesting cache we have come to the conclusion it has been muggled... Some works have been done in the are around our final coordinates suggesting it is gone
A quick find. I'd seen these sort of numbers before. Even afterbi googled them I still don't understand. Oh well. Tftc
Looked lonely with nothing near but I don't suppose they care much. Interesting place.

Hmm. I thought is was code until the ever-knowledgeable Mrs B informed me it was Hebrew and that the dates were also from the Hebrew calendar. Pity as I was hoping that a Geocaching time-portal had been opened in the future to transport these back to current time for our Geocaching amusement!

Another cemetery cache today, and another one that didn't disappoint. The first time we've seen a headstone like this. Admittedly, the date threw me for a bit, as I hadn't really registered the script! Thanks for highlighting another wonderful piece of our multicultural history.

Following the fun, friendship and food at the CVGT VII Event, it was time to be out and finding a few local caches. Oh did this one have us in a frenzy! We couldn't find anything. The shekel dropped - it was a multi !! We must have looked very strange to the grave digger working nearby.
TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks to Keeper of Time for the hunt.

We did enjoy doing this little multi and had no trouble finding the cache. Unusual headstone indeed. Lovely old cemetery. Not enough time to have a good look around as we were on our way to an Event in Castlemaine.
TFTC Keeper of Time and for placing your cache in such a nice and interesting cemetery.

we set out to accomplish the friers series and whatever else was along the way.
took nothing, left nothing.

Found while out caching for the day with highrod, Kinkell1,TilleyTB and micaparamedic. This one certainly had me doing a double take at the numbers! Thought I had been mistaken the first time! Haven't seen one like this before, and I have visited quite a few cemeteries! Giving it a favourite because it's something different. Took coloured glass stone. Left dinosaur and friendship braid. Feathertop and I started early with a couple of caches in Gisborne, then a quick run up to Castlemaine.
Home in time to go to night shift (and before the day got too hot!)
It is always fascinating how even when you are dead, you are still separated by denomination. I guess this one is a denomination all by itself.
Quick count, and a fast find.
I have walked through this cemetery many times.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found with Sully1 doing the Fryers series and extending outwards.
An amazing headstone that provided easy answers to the puzzle.
Thanks again Keeper Of Time

Found with Bogonghazy on a short days caching to Malmesbury and surrounds. Hmmmm, most interesting. And it seems the wife isn't buried here with him either? Nevertheless, we gathered the required numbers, popped the finals into our Montanas and took the stroll to GZ where Bogonghazy soon had the cache spotted. Thanks to Keeper of Time for highlighting this most unusual headstone, and yes, one wonders what denomination they were.....
It was certainly time to come and visit all the Castlemaine and surrounds new offerings so a weekend of camping at Warburton's Bridge provided a chance to visit at least a few of them.
What an interesting find - pretty happy i didn't muck up the maths here.

Bet this threw people unfamiliar with the Hebrew calendar. Note the separation from other denominations, obviously very few Jews on the goldfields
I have found now well over 1500 graveyard caches (well it feels like it!!!) In all my cemetery wanderings I have never come across an inscription like this one but KOT, you have always had a good eye for these sort of caches and this one delivers the goods again.
I still have no idea when these three departed the world but hey I found a cache!
Thanks

I get to log this one because it was my job to read out the inscription through the rain dropped side window on a wet and miserable morning here in Chewton.
I let feathertop wander off to make the find though.
Thanks kepper of time

A good cache, was very easy to work it out, not complicated or messy, thanks keeper of time..took a tag to move on
What the!?...
This one needs a bit more research.
Very interesting....
I hope the hide stays where it is or you will be in a bit of bother.
A bit of head scratching and we had some co-ords.

Took the dog for a walk to do the new caches in the area. IJKL should probably be Solomon's year as it is a 4 digit year! TFTC
Found on a cold day today - nice site and interesting tablet. Thanks for the geocache.
Nice multi/hide dropped off trackable ... PathTag: Romax Tag 15407

Found by Roma and Max.
The posted numbers brought us to a most unusual monument of such we can safely say we have never seen the like.
By being here you could say we are paying our respects to folk from a very distant past.
Thank you KoT for this unique experience and for the very generous gift.
Cheers,
from Romax.
