Out and about today poking around the area with Grannan55. What a beautiful river. Thanks for placing this cache here for me to find and showing me around this beautiful place. All good here. Now, onto the next one for the day. TFTC
Not sure whether the tree grew or a very tall person placed it. Wasn't at my chest height
TFTC,Looks like the tree has grown,No bison and replaced above head height, visited trackables.
A lovely day on the river today. Replaced missing container, stamped new log thanks to CO for bring us here.
Out caching for a second day with The4wdShed out from our camp at Mywee. TfTC
Running through this series with Smithies Outback Gear, good to give some unloved caches a find! You can get to GZ with a 4wd in good weather.

I decided to get out early on the bike and beat the heat. I've had my eye on these for a while now and it's a good chance to burn off a few excess calories. TFTC
Visiting Cobram Barooga for his nibs to attend a golf tournament. All was dry here today, and except for a family camping nearby with motorbikes, we were left alone. All well. Thanks Blacklegend

We stopped on the roads where suitable to pull over with a caravan on, to find a cache.
We have now set up camp along the side of the mighty Murray, quiet a few campers here.
It was time to visit the area so we took a small drive around the countryside, then into Smithers Beach area. I can image the caches being a T5 when the ground is boggy. Nice & firm today, some interesting hides & hubby did enjoy his driving along these tracks.
Thanks for placing this cache Blacklegend

On a morning out caching with my son Geojosiah and my muggle dad we found this one. This is as far as we were willing to take my wife's new xtrail and the cache was found as the hint was very specific, except it's a little out of date now that the tree has grown probably a couple of meters since the cache was placed. Either that or the CO is an absolute giant of a person.
Myself and my boys headed out for a camping / caching weekend up along the border. Heading out Friday night we set up camp right on the Murray River at Richardsons Bend campground. A great place to camp. The next day we headed to Albury and I did some yakking there while the boys watched from the shore. We then headed west, stopping at Lake Mulwala, where we unloaded the yak and all three of us piled on and spent a great couple of hours on the water. Moving on to one of my old stomping grounds, Cobram, where we spent the afternoon swimming and relaxing, some dinner then we found a great camping spot on the Murray at Smither's Beach (between Cobram and Tocumwal). The next day we turned south for home via Shepparton and Nagambie. Plenty of caches found and some awesome sites visited.
After a good nights sleep we were up early and heading a little south to grab a few caches before heading into Albury. With Albury done and dusted for now we headed west and stopped here for this cache. My grand parents used to live in Cobram and for almost twenty years came here on a regular basis and love the place. After a bite to eat we headed out again and spent the evening finding caches in the area. We made our way to Smithers Beach, picking up caches along the way, where we set up camp for the night on the banks of the might Murray.
Thanks for the cache Blacklegend

Me stroll continued, cross country through the delightful scenery of the Murray Floodplain.
There are some good sized river red gums in here
Lotsa cows too !!
Back at the riverside, I spent a bit of time exploring the burnt out tree.
With no cache finds, I read the notes
Oh yeah there's the cache

Victorian Murray River region caching weekend 2015. I am sure I have been in this reserve before, but it was fun to explore for the caches in here. Some great spots to be by the river.
Thanks.

Up here on a birding trip and mooching around in between times checking out the birding and the neighbourhood. This was a tough one for a shorty, got the thing down but took a bit of ingenuity to get it back again!! Thanks for your efforts to show off the area, have seen more than ever before and really appreciate it
Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.
Making our way south to Melbourne now, it's amazing seeing all the other travellers heading north! Are we heading the wrong way
Currently staying at Apex Beach we headed out today to see what the surrounding areas have to offer!
Geocaching takes us to some amazing places and your cache certainly helped with that.
We were unable to continue further along here as we could not find a track that wasn't on private property so we were only unable to complete 5/8 today.

Quick find. Unfortunately the branch fell off as I removed the cache so had to hang it on a other on the same tree a little higher. Nice tranquil spot.
Pretty dry here now can walk in from any direction. Saw the burnt tree thought it would be the spot bit had to do just a bit more looking
Another find for us today, we have returned to the area to finish off the Smithers beach hides and we picked a perfect day for it TFTC
Out for a drive in the area with geofamily, while camping nearby. Thank goodness we had the 4x4 as some of the tracks we could have easily got bogged especially after rain are very slippery. Walked into this one and the kids even found an old yabbie net, so they will try their luck back at the camp site. Found cache with little effort, thanks Blacklegend.
Parked my vehicle near here. A quick find before walking to several more as the track was impassable here TFTC Blacklegend
Nearly didn't do this one, walked right passed it and checked for the next one when back to the car. So of course it was out and off again. Found quickly. SL TFTC
micheena - Don't know what GPS was doing. On Sunday sleep in mode I think. Glad we knew where to go. It's another lovely part of the Murray River. Track in is good.
Good morning to drive and check out the Tocumwal market on the way to the cache. Great to be on the river for a bit as it is just so quiet, only a few campers and a couple out in a canoe fishing. Found and logged then headed home... Thanks for taking us back to that beautiful part of the Murray River again... TFTC
FTF number 15 for me
This was a nice little drive in today for an easy find (I hope the cows don't eat it).
Thanks again BL.
