The cyclops from next door held me out from this find.
also, almost straightforward hint... still came out empty handed

Searched for a good while, thinking recent bad weather may have disturbed it but no luck
Why doesnt that object still move? Ive got moving objects in worse condition at home that still move.
A different approach for a Scout Hall Cache.

Despite two recent logs stating the contrary, I can confirm that the coordinates are accurate and do not need changing.
Hoojar these Co-ords still lead to the pre school, it would be good if you can update them.
Wasn't sure if the hint was still relevant.

Parked close by and waited with the girls while the boys wondered off to find this one.
Not many for for us today as batteries are almost flat

At first I tried to come in from the road but that just lead to a preschool, ooh, around the back. Scattered some chickens near GZ, and turned up the cache further back then I thought it would be, thanks.
Fairly easy second find for the year with geobrother, not the most scenic location for a cache but certainly a clever use of surroundings to hide the cache. SL TFTC!

[green]More dreary family business in the AM and then a visit to my sisters house for the kids to enjoy a nice refreshing dip in the pool. On the way home we stopped to get our daily cache after a DNF at Balgownie park.
Once we worked out the correct access to the area of GZ
This was a nice easy find and sign.(The way we like them, LOL!) TFTC

It's been a while between trips to Wollongong and with a late arrival yesterday with Clan Gunnie, there was little chance to snare any icons...
On our way back from Kiama today however, only Mrs Gunnie on board so I availed myself of a couple of quick ones as they appeared on the SatNav. After finding a convenient parking spot, I nipped around the back of a building to find a way in to GZ. I spotted sonething on arrival that looked a little out of place and voila, cache in hand... [^]
I added my details to the log, dropped it back and shot through.
Cheers Hoojar, Chip & Ding.

Finally got around to having another look at the new co-ords and found this time.
This is the one that broke my 49 day run due to being muggled.

Some interesting wildlife here. This one didn't take long at all thank goodness. Kind of felt like the area had been claimed as someone's backyard.....SL TFTC.
Missed out on this one a while ago as I had a hopeless attempt from the main road in mind. That's absolutely impossible! Today I had to drop off one of the daughters at the girl guide camp at Mt Keira. (the scoutcamp was not an option due to the fires)
On the way home I made the little detour through Fairy Meadow and picked this one up. Ony one left in the series at the moment.

Woohoo? First to sign the new log!
Popped out here and found the back way to the cache. It is a very said piece of equipment where the cache is hidden and it certainly has seen better days. The cache was quickly found and signing duties completed. Hopefully this location will last. Thanks Hoojar for the great scout history and series.

Coordinates changed to:
S 34° 23.222 E 150° 53.909
Distance from original: 387.3 feet or 118.1 meters.
New fresh coordinates, should be more discrete for the locals. Will change container size and clue.

Another look today but I reckon I found remnants of where the cache was but no cache.

Continuing my streak into September I decided to grab a cache after SES and since this was the closest and probably a good time to hit was late at night I opted for this one.
Parking right next to GZ and with my trustee headlamp ablaze I soon had this one in hand.
Thanks

I must admit this one took me a little while- I got fooled by a leaf!
I can't even recall visiting this scout hall before but it sure does have the look of an old hall. TFTC!

I have no idea.
GZ keeps me at the new big lamp post and I can't find anything in a fairly large radius about the area.
But I will be back and try again.

Glad to get this one back online to help with a quick after work drive-by for today’s souvenir. Maybe the area has had some recent “landscaping” but cache quite exposed and spotted from the car. Tried to angle it a little better for some protection, which is something not afforded to the cacher themselves around here.
Headed here after work to find Pauly and snoris on the search.. I arrived just in time, they had the cache in hand and I arrived with a pen that worked.. Was great to catch up with some fellow cachers.. Tftc
Found it with AH and sisters.Used a torch since went at night.Helping with this local ones with cache a day.

Found on a freezing day with snorris. Our pen wasn't working, thankfully a cheeky cacher arrived to lend a pen. Thanks Hoojar.
Found with paulyman after work today, number 20 for August. Cheeky Meg turned up just in time to help us sign the log (damned cheap pens!). TFTC.
** Cache has been moved to nearby vacant block of land to avoid issues with the preschool **

I discussed this hide with the daycare centre some months back. Clearly they have forgotten.
Offline until access is re confirmed.

Ouch indeed!
Second to find here. Oh well some you win and some you lose!
Found cache easily, the nearby daycare centre seem to notice people around the area so had to be stealthy. As was about to replace container some one pulls up right in front of me. Had to wait to rehide. Felt a bit suss!

Felt very exposed searching here in broad daylight at child pick-up time. Had to pull out a few weeds while I completed FTF duties (and rubbed my scratched arms). Thanks for the series H.
