AussieGal88 and myself are spending our daylight hours going on a trip up to the Barossa for a day of cache finding and also to visit the GeoStuff store.

We travelled around Nuriootpa, Angaston and Greenock and got a total of 17 finds and one adventure lab completed for the day for this pineapple.

We found the cache fairly quickly. However, a crack has appeared in the lid and had made the contents soggy.

We replaced the log and with a new plastic but it is only a matter of time before it gets damaged again.

Could do with a checking by the CO.

Thanks bructus for this traditional cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3457 on the 26th of August 2023.

CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!

Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!

Southern Autumn adventure Day 39. Mid North section of SA trip Day 10. Barossa Valley Day 2. The direction for today was Angaston. I was distracted by the markets first and then made it to Angaston. I started with a few caches around town and then hit the bike trail on my scooter to finish the caches back to where I left off the other day. The rest of the day was spent caching between Angaston, Tanunda and Nuriootpa, picking up what I was able to until I hit my daily count for this trip.

This one of a few simple roadside caches today that did not cause any problems.

Thanks for the cache bructus

TFTC. Along with miff1 we though today would be a good chance to explore some of the Barrossa. We. Had earmarked a virtual cache at Hamley Bridge as our primary objective. We would stop and find other caches as we came close. We lunched at Nurioopta before completing a tour of their Historic wineries. A great relaxing day,

Well, that was a quicker than expected find yesterday!
Was on a road (like where else would I be when travelling in a car!) when Ghosty7 asked where does this road lead to. Given we were headed to Clare instead of Nuriootpa, we made a slight detour, found this little treasure and away we went! ..... in the right direction!!
Cache in great condition and log intact.

After spending a very peaceful and quiet night camping on our own at Towitta, we were on the road again today, caching with ilook4geo. We have now arrived in the Nuriootpa area which had an abundance of caches. This was a very easy cache to find and both lots of initials were soon registered on the log. Time then to return everything to its place and continue with the hunt. Thanks go to bructus for placing this cache.

A day of caching had been planned with Doctor Owl and it was decided that we would come to Daveyston and Nuriootpa as we both had a lot of unfound caches in the area. [^]

Well it turned into quite the adventure, getting ourselves bogged...and after being rescued we decided that we would complete the caches in Daveyston on another (dry) day and headed to the paved roads of Nuri. Surprised

Owl stopped here so I could find this one that she had already found. A quick find. Big Grin

Thanks for the cache bructus. Smile

Hi there bructus.

We found your cache **"Tokay cache"** at 11:06:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 22212).

We started the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.

We found 7 caches today & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic travels around Australia.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are infested with ants.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny.

Hi there bructus. We planned todayto be a Geo-day from Gawler to Nuriootpa and it went as planned. We found several caches prior to lunching at the Bakery in Nuriootpa then visiting Geo-Stuff for a few bits'n'pieces before continuing our Geo-day around town then on the way home. As mentioned in previous logs, the container is ant-ridden and needs maintenance and the log is missing. Thanks to bructus for this cache - our find #6297.

11-Mar-19
Found it with crorose, at first we arrived we found but throw it away and searched everywhere so we decide to put DNF and drove but notice a man walked so we turn back to there and told us this one is cache. Luck. but it's missing log paper.
Thanks bructus for the cache.

Helped some folks find the cache today however the log appears to be gone and I think the container was not in it’s proper location which is now riddled with ants.

What a fabulous day out...so fabulous that we stamped 98% of the logs as "Fabulous Randoms" (the others we wrote our names).

We completed 3 OTD series, picked up the tribute series to the US iconic trails (ET Highway & Route 66) and stopped to find a number of other random caches including ones with high fav points or interesting D/Ts. Over 160 finds - it was worth the 5am start (to try and beat the heat).

Thanks so much for the cache bructus! [^]
