Timely to escape the smoke and fire threats in the NE and catch up with some buddies in Somers and Mt Eliza AND get out on the MTB to explore the trails along the beach since it’s not really swimming beach weather. A great series and so much care and thought has gone into creating lots of fun hides. series On a mission today to collect 50 + and keep the streak alive so TFTC and series.
I once liked this song. Probably a lot more plant life here then when it was first planted.

Found at 11:53 AM GAFF1 in the company of maccamob.
Another nice camo - wasn't too scared, but it was tricky to locate with the creeper growing all over it.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha

Found by Mary and David, in company with pprass, at 11:55. The first day on the Bay Trail for both teams. Could have picked better weather though. Only the second day of summer, but there was a cold south-westerly blowing, and rain showers passing through, so we lost a couple of hours in the morning waiting for the worst of the rain to pass. Our thanks to BorisB&Natasha.
Our main goal today was to seek out as many of this series of Bay Trail caches as we could. We enjoyed the many varied, interesting and clever caches found along the way and so many thanks to the COs for all the time, work and effort involved in having created the caches, laid them and maintained them. We also had fun making the connections between the song and the cache hides - we had a great day out! It took us a while to locate this good fun cache once in the Ground Zero area. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the specimen of a cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Go ahead and....
Found after a search where we thought it might be. Certainly caused some jumps! Great hide in a great series. TFTC.

I was down the peninsula today and decided to make a little bit of progress on the Mystery at the Museum challenge. Having got started last week I was up to looking for evidence and a quick filtered search directed me to this one. I had found a few others in the series nearby previously but must have skipped over this for some reason in the past. Gave it a good crack today with few muggle to distract my efforts. I missed it on the first pass and tried a few areas with no success. Only on retracing my steps did I find the nice hidden cache in an area I hadn't been thorough enough in. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and a great series down here BorisN&Natasha & Nut bear. This one earns a favourite point from me. I was okay but I can see how others could be scared.
Out and about with echidna44 and au-fait for the day ticking off some in this wonderful beach location. The weather was not looking to nice but it did not dampened the crew. Having parked a car at one end we are now in for the walk. The best about doing this in the off season and not so good weather is that not many people are around. Easy find, we need it now and then. Thanks for the variety and quality of these caches BorisB&Natasha & Nut Bear
Out with xambo4u and au.fait, we decided to cache along the foreshore, starting at Safety Beach. A cool day with intermittent rain was not enough to deter us. Accurate co-ords took us straight to GZ for a quick find -
Thanks BorisB&Natasha & Nut Bear.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha & Nut Bear.
Out for a day in the great company of echidna44 and xambo4u to do a section of the Bay Trail and of course collecting caches along the way with an ambitious list ahead of us. A car shuffle had 14 caches between us and lunch, which had us picnicking in a shower. Following this a further shuffle with another 14 on our list. A lovely walk, and excellence in both the quality of the caches and the company made for a memorable day. Had a good idea of what we might find here which proved correct TFTC BorisB&Natasha & Nut Bear

It started raining again as we were here, and with no shelter nearby we had no choice but to keep looking. I prepared myself for anything after reading the hint, then soon found it after looking more thoroughly at the first place I checked. Nicely hidden!
TFTC! Nice easy find. Was initially not sure if we found it, but checked and it was definitely the cache. Very clever hide. Thanks!
I expected to walk back this way and have another crack but my ride turned up, how nice.

A wet, windy day t'was and my boys were off to Red Hill for a BBQ meet-up. I joined them, but as it was a dads-only affair, I took the car for a little adventure around the peninsula. I walked on from the previous amazing geocache with high hopes. I have a hide I would like to find a structure like this for...I'm still on the search in my local area. It took a little searching for and I admit that I wilfully ignored the terrain rating at one point. In between muggles, I managed to locate the cache. TFTC BorisB, Natasha and Nut bear.
Looked under and over and all around and then at last the cache was found! Geograndson on deck to help with the search. TFTC BorisB&Natasha and Nut Bear.
"I might as well Jump". As we found the cache, we just had to "Go ahead and jump". TFTC BorisB&Natasha and Nut Bear.

Having a very wet walk along the waterfront. The only upside is that there are fewer muggles than usual.
Great variety of cache containers kept us on our toes. Wish we had more favourite points to award.

Another clever hide!! Thought it could have been under- but to wet and scared to go in!! Found it!! Clever!!
Er cripes I thought I would have to put my hand somewhere icky, or jump to retrieve something but in the end it was neither of those...
This was our only find for the day. Don't know what went wrong, but at least we found this great hide without jumping out of our skin. TFTC

We had just visited the awesome Heronswood Gardens. We had some time before it got dark to look for a few caches and this cache was only a hop, step and JUMP down the road. [:o)]. We parked in the closest carpark to the cache and wandered along the trail to GZ. Thanks to the spot-on co-ords we found the creepy cache after a short search and signed the log at 4:25 pm. TNLN. Luckily neither of us screamed.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear for the ingenious hide and our first find in this series, which we remembered getting a Vic cache of the year award a few years ago for the best series. We'll be back when the weather gets warmer to do a few more caches in this fabulous series.

Aha, we were thinking of a different type of "Jump". master 13 got this one, kinda glad he did. #682
Perfect winters day for caching, thought ti was time for some family time (away from the stresses and busyness of life). So the Rennige family out for a walk and catch some caches on the Bay Trail (on foot) with the pooch with us as well.
A fave for us, and Miss 10 did scream when she found it.

I spent a very pleasant morning cycling from Blairgowrie to the Information Centre at Dromana. I found most of the caches I looked for, but the odd trickier one escaped me. The philosophy of the day was to keep moving, anything that wasn’t found in a couple of minutes looking went unfound. Thanks to all of those who have put the effort into setting up and maintaining this series. Cheers and TFTC
Today was such a nice day.
I came up this way from Werribee as my brother was getting married only 400 meters away. After the wedding just before dark I thought I will go for a walk down to get this cache.
Crap no one told me there is a cliff. I was still in my wedding clothes. But being a true cacher. I found a steep path and climbed down.
Took a little time to find this little sucker. But soon enough I had 7 legs in my hand and cache signed.
TFTC I enjoyed this search.

HAHAHA I didn't do this one well at all. I was climbing, I was rolling, I was crawling. Then I finally did some reading which was followed by some finding.
Scary fella alright

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. This may or may not become easier now that I have found a job but I’m still currently staying with my brother (stinky tom) and his family which includes my nephew (stinky bob).
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work. Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook.

#6871 After a nice weekend in Sydney 50 degrees so are we back in Melbourne for more meetings and caching. Our goal in Sydney was to find the oldest cache in Australia. But of course did we logg some more caches in the city. Today did I and Rokkan take a trip down here to find some caches. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Sweden.

Luckily I read the logs and had a good idea what was coming. ...hence why I sheltered under the trees whilst the others searched.
Found on a hot summers day while on a ride with mark9375 and geojill-11. Mark needed 28 cache's to make his 1000 target by the end of the year tftc

Out and about with 4bait and Mark9375 on a hot summers day with plenty of muggles going about their business. And JUMP I did! Thanks for the scare and TFTC!
Sorry for the generic log on this one but my life has been a bit overwhelming lately and I cannot exactly remember the exact details of each and every cache on the trail that I did today, not many but enough. Anyways I spent today rechecking caches that I had found to fill in the clues that I had missed in the previous caches that I had found and adding more clues haha. Anyways thanks for the cache, I am really enjoying the serious, we all appreciate all the effort you go into making these quality caches. Cheers

Today we continued with the Bay Trail. We had enjoyed the series yesterday and wanted to look for more. This cache was found quite quickly. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Nut_bear and BorisB&Natasha for the cache and the series.

Final getting time to do the famous Borisb&natasha and Nut Bear bay trail on a gorgeous day with Poiter.h Sl thanks Borisb&natasha and Nut bear for the great series.
After talking about doing the Borisb&natasha and Nut Bear bay trail with Bounty Trackers for nearly 2 years, we finally got around to doing it.
[Scrat](https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=4376822) visited your cache whilst on his Great Aussie Adventure.
Thank-you Borisb&natasha and Nut bear for this great series.
Was in the area and needing a quick find. Great cammo. Many thanx to Nut bear
Up early and grabbing a few caches before breakfast and before there are too many muggles about. Took me much longer than it should have. Was looking for something else and must have overlooked it at first. Certainly would make some jump.
Thanks Nut bear for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

#102. Found the cache. Not my favourite but a natural for the environment - and of course made me jump!
Fun find. Geo daughter jumped a little and was not keen to grab it. One small part has snapped off and was a few inches away, but otherwise all ok. Very cool. TFTC
***********BAY TRAIL - PART 1***********
Today I teamed up with OsWells and Super H and Tim (making #TeamBrainiac03) to get some Bay Trail and surrounding caches by bike. It was a successful day with finding 18 caches by bike with a 100% success rate of no DNFs. Thanks to all COs that hid the containers that made our day so enjoyable. Hopefully we'll be back soon to grab more along the Bay Trail.

This was brilliant. Took a little bit then OsWells got it and nearly fainted . A few muggles walking by got to see our 'newfound pet' (hiding the bison of course).

I screamed. Wasn't expecting that. My partner looked at me and was like "what's wrong" I'm like. This is where a partner comes in handy. You can retrieve it thank you very much
I didn't jump, but I am sure the kids would have if the were with me. With the satellites not working for me here it took a little to make the find. Big giggle factor. Thanks again Nut Bear.
I could hear squeaking noises, put my hand in slimy fungus and then yes I jumped when I found it LOL
Suscoe was heading steadily west ward as the morning progessed.
Wind and more wind followed us.
This one took a while as Suscoe admired the fungi growing near GZ.
Hope to pop a photo up showing the pretty growth.
Thanks to Nut bear for a pleasant enough cache, Suscoe doesn't jump too often anymore.

Nope, nothing here to make me jump. I had a few ideas about what I might be looking for, but there was nothing. I even climbed the tree to see if there was something up there, making me need to 'jump' down afterwards. Nope. Nothing

I had a couple of days off work during the week, so I decided to travel to the Peninsula to tackle this series. I had recently bought a hike tent, and thought I'd try that out, too!
So I booked myself into the only camping ground on the Peninsula that is open from May to October, left the car there, and got walking.
It was the perfect day for geocaching! Cool and cloudy, weekday in late May, almost no muggles to be seen.
This was a wonderful series. Not only were the caches varied and clever, but I sang the songs in my head the whole way along

Day 7 of our geoholiday in Victoria and today we are finishing off the bike trail that runs along here, a very beautiful spot to ride the bike and we encountered some very sneaky and well camouflaged caches along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip here and look forward to returning one day to keep caching this lovely state, a huge thank you all the COs for placing these caches for us to find. TFTC
