With 3x DNFs before us there was a pretty good chance we’d be logging the 4th. At what appeared to be the most likely tea tree we were hoping to change the stats and get on with our day trip along the bay.. hope quickly turned to dismay which then became a major search of the ground. Nothing. Sadly, a DNF from us.
DNF @ 17:50 with The Good Lady Wife.
We're holidaying nearby and went for a walk to get out and about, and collect a few caches. Today's attempt met with mixed results, with 4 out of the 7 caches as DNFs.
With a few areas matching the hint, and after a bit of a search around with no luck, we decided to pull the plug and move on without the find.
Thanks anyway BorisB&Natasha

Mixed luck out this way today. This was another where I had a decent search (noting the recent find) but I was never sure if I had the right tree and unfortunately couldn't turn up the cache this time. Thanks anyway.
Out on my own today ticking off some more in this wonderful beach location. The weather was a lot better today but still only the odd jogger or doggy walker go past. Thanks for the continued variety and quality of these caches BorisB&Natasha & Nut Bear
Another well crafted and creative cache .. well hidden from people wslking bt TFTC

OzHockeyChick and I did a few laps around GZ - then she spotted the nicely hidden cache, which would've taken me a little longer to spot! Thanks
#4991 found while on a cache hunt with mansgirl. Tftc last and first place l Iooked
Another good one, loving these caches! Unfortunately team Lalli-Tron (alongside LouD86) forgot a pen but loving the search!
Best cam yet on the bay trail geocache. Nailed it. Still no pen, another find for Lalli-Tron
Another day ticking off some more of the Bay trail caches. It's been a while since I've had an opportunity to get to the trail so I was pleased that I finally managed to find the time.
Decided to start searching near Rosebud for no other reason than the name of the place is quite cute. Headed West along the trail for about 10 kms collecting caches but after the heat (and bloody flies) became too much ubered back to Rosebud and then drove further along the peninsula to Portsea for a few random caches around there. The eventual plan is to complete the whole bay circuit. How long that will take is anyone's guess!
Thanks for placing & maintaining these caches. It's a great trail in a fantastic part of the world

Flies. Sweat. Blood. The deadly combo of summer caching by the bay.
With water in hand and clif bar in pocket, we spent two days on the Mornington Peninsula collecting those smilies. All in all, we found 30 caches. A few less than we hoped for but thoroughly enjoyable, even if we made many of the finds a lot harder than they were.
Many thanks to the cache owners. A great variety of containers and some very nice locations.

A lovely afternoon for a stroll along the beach, finding some caches along the way. Nice one, TFTC
We came this way so geo-hubby could chase golf balls around one of the beautiful golf courses in town so off I was chasing great cammo containers. I had a lovely walk along the section of bay that I did and really enjoyed these hides. This was great cammo and a good hide.Tyftc

School holidays have started and that means time for a road trip. Sydney to Mt Gambier via the Little Desert, then back home via the Great Ocean Road, Melbourne and the coast back to Sydney. Caves, rock climbing, cache and lots of photos along the way. Cheers to all the cache owners who placed them along my route. All the ones we found were in good condition unless i have made a note.
This was a very neat cache! Blends in very well to its surroundings, in fact my GPS kept leading me to the exact same tree and I was convinced it wasn't there lol. Finally I spotted it..... but then when I removed it a MASSIVE spider was living underneath Lucky there were no muggles as I screamed like a girl and threw the cache down.
After signing I took a moment to get a long stick and moved the spider so I could place the cache back without the threat of it jumping on my hand :') All in all a REALLY good cache but the spider ruined it for me

Ahh yes the Bay Trail! I remember this series from my last visit which I think was over a year ago. Today I have returned on foot once again to continue some of this trail! In total I covered about 9km of the coast with 34 finds and only 3 DNF's!! Which I thought was a massive effort given the difficulty of some of the caches. To be fair I did spent just over 5 hours making my way through them! Thanks to BorisB&Natasha + Nut Bear for one of the most impressive long distance trails I have come across

My car broke down 2 days ago, so have had to use the local bus service to get the kids to and from school, not fun when it rain let me tell u that much, I was 20 mins early for the bus this arvo so decided to check geo and find myself a catch knowing I usually have a pen in the pram off I set. Yippy found it. Love the hide, went to get my pen out and dang it the pen is missing so I left a 10cent piece just to prove I have been just no name. Will attempt to go back and log my name next time. fun times!
Found it This was a favorite one for today, it took about 20 minutes but when it was found..wow great camo Tftc
I spent a very pleasant morning cycling from Blairgowrie to the Information Centre at Dromana. I found most of the caches I looked for, but the odd trickier one escaped me. The philosophy of the day was to keep moving, anything that wasn’t found in a couple of minutes looking went unfound. Thanks to all of those who have put the effort into setting up and maintaining this series. Cheers and TFTC
Trying to get a few more on the trail before I head home loved every single cache I've found this weekend!
As I stayed in Rosebud for just one night, I did part of your series. I loved, that nearly every cache has a different cameo. Out of 16 I managed to find 11. I would've loved to complete the whole series. Thanks for putting so much effort in this series.
A great series along here, found this one with stinky tom and stinky bob.
A quick find here, thanks!!
Lovely part of the world

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. This may or may not become easier now that I have found a job but I’m still currently staying with my brother (stinky tom) and his family which includes my nephew (stinky bob).
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work. Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook.

And another cache found on ground, about 5 metres from where it should be, container was empty, so put in a piece of paper, and placed back in tree, where it was plain to see it should have been, thanks for the excuse to come out caching, BorisB&Natasha
Nice day trip with geofamily left kid in the sand to go for walk with geodad
Found it on ground nearby empty

Have been camping with the family in Rosebud. Today is our last day so Kmannz, Stinky Bob and I went off to find a few. There are a lot of campers around but we found the cache easily as it was sitting on the ground. Cool camo. TFTC
This was one of the caches that I found today whilst riding my bike down the bay trail picking up some of the clues that I had missed and some new ones I had yet to pick up. Found these after coming back from meeting in Mornington, with the goal in mind of reaching my 500th find milestone..... which was easily achievable on this trail. I am really enjoying this series and I had saved it till the summer where i could enjoy it in the summer heat whilst adding a little difficulty with the muggle factor.Anyways thanks for the cache and the beautiful trip down the foreshore.

Continuing on with the series of songs today. Not many people on the track today because they are all on the beach but the flies are really bad with the humidity. We had a nice walk along here anyway. I liked the camo for this one. TFTC
Today we continued to look for caches along the Bay Trail. This cache was a very quick find as we saw the cache from the car as we pulled up. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks BorisB&Natasha and Nut_bear for the cache.
After talking about doing the Borisb&natasha and Nut Bear bay trail with Bounty Trackers for nearly 2 years, we finally got around to doing it.
[Scrat](https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=4376822) visited your cache whilst on his Great Aussie Adventure.
Thank-you Borisb&natasha and Nut bear for this great series.
Final getting time to do the famous Borisb&natasha and Nut Bear bay trail on a gorgeous day with Poiter.h Sl thanks Borisb&natasha and Nut bear for the great series.
Very intrigued by this one and smiled at it's name as it was part of a name I met the CO's & was so happy. So we signed this one with a BIG smile with lovely memories

I was up very early this morning and rather than wake the geo family, I decided to make my out the door in stealth mode and find a few caches along the bay trail while still in darkness. After first up success I was ready to find some more. I was a little worried about this one being that it was dark but thankfully I found this clever find quickly. Signed and replaced as found.
**Thanks for this trad cache, BorisB & Natasha** [^]
**Cache container and log good in good condition**

Out getting some caches in the sunshine. Ticking off a couple more on the Bay Trail. TFTC.
*sighs* that's not a teatree. Oh well. Great camo. In plain sight and I loved it. TFTC
Enjoying the trail and the better weather. A lovely part of the bay to ride around.

Out with Judith9799 on our bicycles doing the other half of the bay trail. A quick find and back on the track to the next cache. TFTC
Out for a bike ride with mazza-g completing the last of this trail. It certainly is the small things that count when collecting those smilies. TFTC
My favourite type of cache, in plain sight but so well hidden. Again with the aid of the hint, accurate coordinates and very few muggles about on a winter's day this one proved an easy find. Many thanx to BorisB&Natasha for another in the series
A cute container and clever camouflage, but I forgot to look for a 'Music' clue. Tftc.
Very nice hide found late afternoon with not many muggles around this is 300 for me

This one was by far the easiest, mainly due to the cache lying on the ground in plain sight. We spotted it from at least 20 metres away, after we had finished with it it was replaced and covered with more camo, hopefully it doesn't fall out again.

I love the fact that the song titles reflect the cache location or container. I was continually blown away by this series...

Having camped overnight in my brand new hike tent at West Rosebud, I woke early, did the morning routine, packed up the campsite, and started geocaching in the other direction.
The morning was very windy, but that made for wonderful views of the bay. Birds were struggling to fly, boats were tossing about on the waves, and there was ever the sound of water swishing onto sand. Bliss
I had to be back home in time to do the Cub Leader thing in the evening, so I planned which bus I'd get back to the car. I made it as far as the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron before the rain set in. Thirty finds today took the total for my mini holiday to 66.
Thank you so much to BorisB&Natasha for this wonderful series, for the songs in my head, and for time out from/for real life

A late afternoon ride brought Suscoe here.
A quick find was appreciated with the wind.
The sun had gone with cloud approaching.

We decided to take a walk along this section of the trail, not intending to do more than 5 caches and then return to the car, but it felt good and we didn't turn around for a while.
How easy can it get, a hint to boot. A nice quick easy find here as the muggle numbers are building along this section now. Wow, so many people with dogs.

Very clever! A quick stop after a bit of a drive and had the amazing container in hand. The top reminded me of my first cache that I hid! I loved it! Favourite point for you! TFTC, Brainiac03
