What a fun cache. Found straight away but Mr 9, Mr P and Robdogs Mr 9 couldnt work out how to get it out. After watching for a while Mrs P got out of the car and retrieved it straight away hahahah. Fav point for the creativity.
Wow! awsome hide. Not too much to give away but the hint summed it up perfectly. Yet another fave point added. Many thanks again for the cache Little Squirell.
Ok, I see why this has lots of fave points and it will get another from me. Left a Geocoin and a pathtag. TFT adventure
A great hide, pity it was a crowd as I'd have liked to have worked it out myself. But I suppose that's just what happens when it cache crawl day.
On the road again as part of the great Victorian cache crawl for international geocaching day.think i am nearly awake now after the early breakfast cookup and thrill of the last geocache.. however mr spiffy- must have had a double coffee dose as he was on to this cache very quickly and worked out the retrieval faster than i could even think where i put my pen.thanks for a blast here today.
Very clever hide..very deserving of a favourite..loved it.. Took Patrick trackable to continue his adventures in Oz....TFTC
Great little cache here! Very nifty. Dropped off Maurice the Space Cowboy on his adventures
What a weekend... Aim for this weekend was to hit my 3000th Cache and have an awesome time on the cache crawl. Left early afternoon Friday iwh the muggle wife and headed up to Macedon stopping at a few caches along the way.Checked into our hotel in Macedon and then heading across to Riddell's Creek for the pre crawl dinner. A great crowd and some tasty food then it was back for an early night.Saturday morning I woke to a lot of rain that continued throughout the day, first stop was Sunbury for the 7am meet a few caches in the town and then up the road to Malmsbury for a pie and a coffee, next was onto Bendigo for lunch and a walk around the lake. After that it was on the road again to Colbinabbin for a cup of tea and to celebrate Roaming Howies 18,000 cache. The painted Silo's are amazing... next was a drive up to Echuca to check into the hotel. After a brief rest and a walk along the river we heading to the pub for dinner, followed by a few drinks in the Gin Distillery. In the morning I headed over to NSW to grab a few ad labs before the breakfast meet and then it was back on the road again to Cussen Park in Tatura for the CITO followed by lunch. After lunch it was onto the final stop in Seymour to celebrate the mazing cache crawl and my 3000th cache on my 6th Anniversary of Geocaching. A massive thanks to every who helped organise and support the event, everyone who hid the caches and gave me pointers when I was stuck. What an awesome community we have. 793Km covered and 116 Caches found... not a bad weekend. Thanks for the cache and the hideLog Book has been signed and Returned or answers sent to cache ownerFind #2992

And yet another incredible cache by Little Squirrel ??? Well worth making us late for. TFTCDropped a TB
Oh, the twists and turns with this one. Very clever. Everything dry as a bone, too. TFTC Little Squirrel - top work
There was a large procession of cache vehicles passing by today so we were lucky enough to find the log in someone's hands already. Awesome cache!
After scratching our heads for a few minutes I worked out what was required and we had the cache in hand. Brilliant construction!Thank you Little Squirell for placing and maintaining MARY ANN for us to find today.
*18 Aug 2024, Found @8:12AM, Find # 3872.*This was the first one for day 2 of the Victoria cache crawl weekend. There was a lot of talk about this cache and it did not disappoint. I loved the whole theme. It took a few minutes to work it out without applying too much force. I cant not leave a favourite point. **Thanks to Little Squirell for placing this cache.**
Brisal5 and ourselves had made the decision to attend 'The Great Victorian Cache Crawl' , with Brisal5 arriving at our home on the Thursday evening. The journey started Friday morning with both of us picking up the odd cache as we travelled towards Riddell Creek for the prequel event and then onto Sunbury for our overnight accommodation. The first event of the official weekend was at Maccca's and the excitement was building, then it was time to find caches and AL's along the road and onto Malmsbury for morning tea. Unfortunately it had started to rain with umbrella's and rain jackets out in force. The next stop was Bendigo where we were warmed up with micaparmedic's fantastic soup, thank you, here we caught up with friends and the usual geocaching chatter was all around us. I am sure you have the gist of how our weekend went, finding caches, chatting, eating all this on a loop until we arrived in Seymour for the final goodbyes. We cannot thank the committe enough for this exceptionally well organised weekend. All the caches and AL's that we found were all in good condition and not requiring any maintenance. SL TFTC
These caches were not on our target list, but hearing others talk about them saw us add them to the days tally. Immediately spotted the hide, but it took a PAF for us to really crack into it. We were on the right track, but didnt want to do any damage so we were being maybe just a little toooooo gentle. A great hide that Im sure wont be muggled anytime soon.
We found this cache after attending the 2024 Cache Crawl breakfast in Echuca. Thanks for the very cool cache. Fave point awarded
This one was recommended to us and it lived up to its reputation. I was worried about using too much force but The Rustys got it just right and was the one to access the logbook. Fabulous construction.
The cache crawl was on and this year apart from the Friday night dinner which I couldn't make it to I will be doing the whole crawl. Today on the return trip the weather was much better and it was much more enjoyable not needing the raincoat all the time. The convoy moved around to this one and a suspicious looking part of the contraption was moved and I Was soon signing the log. Nicely done, a favourite from me.Thanks Little Squirell for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
This was a very clever hide that took a lot of prodding and poking about to finally get into this one. This cache definitely deserves a favourite point for such a clever field puzzle
Wow. Got there in the end. Kind of knew what to do but took muggle hubby to get it to work. Heaps of fun. Fave tftc
2nd cache in a row awarded a favourite. Great camo and then after getting over the initial should we be here, a puxzze to solve..Well done. Another great cache. Our last day in Echuca before moving on, but what a good one it was. Some of the best caching we have done in a long time. Some really innovative, intriguing and creative hides that took us some time, but well worth it. Thank you so much to the creators/hiders.A challenging but well spent day.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Little Squirell.**SKI Pair****
During our mini-break in Echuca, we decided to explore some geocaches in the area. It turned out to be an exciting adventure. The GPS led us to the opposite side of the driveway, where my partner, initially dismissing something, later realized its significance. When I stumbled upon it, I couldn't help but remark that a closer look would have revealed the cache sooner. What an incredible find it was! The craftsmanship behind it was truly remarkable. I commend the creator for the intricate mechanism; it's evident that a lot of effort went into making it. This cache undoubtedly deserves a favorite point, a recognition I don't give lightly. I'd rate it a solid 9 out of 10. Thank you for placing and crafting such a fantastic discovery.
We figured when we arrived with goingplaces2 that there really was only one place a container of this size could be located. So we opened it and did some gentle manoeuvring to get the log in hand. Once signed all was replaced as found and we were on our way again. TFTC.
While on our way back to camp after visiting Echuca, we stopped here with ilook4geo for another cache. We checked out the obvious and fiddled a bit to get it open and the container out. Well done, as it looks so realistic. Thanks for this cache go to Little Squirell. FP added.
Final leg home with fitzy_1965 after heading to Adelaide for Leap Day event. We targeted old and unusual along the way.All caches found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned. Thanks to all CO's.Dismissed then came back for a closer look! Bingo!
34,504. Found with minniek during our trip to The Great Leap Forward Mega Event in Adelaide on 29th February 2024.Day 7 : After staying overnight at the Swan Hill Big4 Caravan Park, we packed up with an aim to meander our way back home via any convenient caches along the way. There were a couple on our list though which we did go for. Overall the drive home was pretty good with a wide variety of countryside observed. All caches were found without issue unless stated. This one was the next one we tried for, and it was a quick find once we were at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one. Thanks Little Squirell !! Nice Work ! Fav Point !
FUN FUN FUN Factor IS so up there that its not hard to add another FAVE! No trepidations on my behalf as something was curiously not quite adding up so the lights went on and I logged on. First time away for awhile - back in Echuca and this time the Riverboat Festival with a few star attractions is the main lure. BUT as my dear mum would say, always make time for some casheering so here I am and hip hip hooray. Headed over here on trusty treadles for a last one so TFTC the fun and the effort that translates to a smile on the dial.
The D rating had me worried... my thoughts were think tricky and conniving...think well executed after all this Co has talent as I witnessed at the last Gate cache. I zeroed in on something, then walked away, but it drew me back after reading some past logs. I thought well okay... let's have fun.. YOLO...
After the disappointing DNF around the corner it was nice to be able to come here and redeem ourselves. Such a well constructed cache and another FP from us.TFTC
After staying with geocaching friends in Echuca this and Village Gate were recommended to do on our way out of town. I can certainly see why they were both recommended. This one had me fooled! I tried it initially, but couldnt get it to budge. Then I used a PAF because I couldnt see anything else that would hold such a container of the size specified and felt reluctant to push it too far. The_Evil_Muggle gave it a stronger try and revealed what I was looking for. Fantastic cache in excellent condition. Thanks for the fun!
What a great cache. Worthy of all the favourites it has.Tried one or 2 things then voila!.Another favourite point of course
Doing a slow trip back to Gippsland after visiting the desert country, saw all the favorites for this cache and thought we would check it out. Narrowed it down and thought no that couldn't be it but it was. My wife said you get it out I'm not touching it but there were no problems and we could see why it had so many fav's. I am definitely giving it one as well as there has been a lot of effort in the construction of this cache.TFTC
The house is being painted, we have an excitable puppy, so we decided to go away for 5 days up to Wakiti near Echuca using our Travel Auctions win. Very good value with lovely owners. Virtually no internet though so catching up with logging now.
This morning we were heading off for a day of caching around Echuca and this cache was next. After finding the nearby Village Gate (with help) we headed here. The painter rang just as we approached GZ so JMelb chatted to him and GMelb went to find the cache. He had replaced all by the time the phone call was finished so that she could have the fun of working it out for herself. Another brilliant cache and worthy of its many many FP's and it now has another. Wow, if all the caches around Echuca are like this we are sure in for a treat!!

We are heading up to the Shepparton Marathon and taking the long way via Echuca. The plan is to get 20 geocaches in the Campaspe and Moira LGAs and at least 1 cache in whatever NSW LGA Moama is in. Not sure it will happen with our tight schedule, but will see how it goes.
After this was recommended by the local geocacher, this was the first stop when heading into Echuca. Parked and my first thought was correct, even if we were a bit hesitant. Soon had this nice container and the log file in our hands.
Thanks for the cache Little Squirell

Heading to SA following the Rutherglen mega and mainly exploring places by way of ALs plus a few caches along the way. After time around the Mount Gambier area I will gradually make my way back home to the north coast of NSW. Thanks to all the COs for placing caches.
And another FP given!!
And another FP given!!
Heading out of Echuca we decided to check out Village Gate that I had read all about. As we approached there were a group of caches there so we drove on and around the corner to this one.
Two of us jumped out and set off in search of this also raved about cache.
We circled GZ a few times and kept returning to where we started.
My 11 year old geocaching advisor was adamant that he was on the money.
Turned out he was correct.
Very impressive. Definitely geocache hider goals, right here.
As I am signing the log and grabbing a trackable I'm told "Hurry they are coming! Those other geocachers! Quick!"
We have no way or where to hide. I moved swiftly, returned log and cache at ninja speed.
And as they pulled up we were running to our car laughing our heads off.
"You saw NOTHING! Good luck!" I called as we jumped in the car.
We talked about this for a lot of the way home.
Turns out BENedict2011 doesn't want to be my advisor any more...he wants to get back into it.
TFTC.
So much fun

Pretty confident we found the cache just wasn’t sure whether we were to force it out or not so chose not to. Creative cache!
This is a fantastic hide. Patience, thinking and a gentle approach help. Out exploring with tooth66 and chiko24. Definitely high on my favourites list
