The trouble is trying to remember individual caches when you do power trails.
Thanks for putting out these caches for our enjoyment.
At a bit of a loose end so we decided a day just north of Stanthorpe, to clear a few caches we had no signal for on our last few trips south, was in order.
Apologies if some logs are a bit generic but we converted 95 to smilies today!
Quick find.
Log a bit damp.
Signed & replaced as found.
32 of 95 today!

Out I headed and the cows scattered and one cow was bellowing because she had been spit up from the rest of the herd.
The cache was in the first place I looked while geopartner retrieved this one.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks the cache maker All good with this cache
They hop up everywhere !! [:o]

Day eleven took us back north to do more of the trails. We ere joined by Rapidlywild and SpecimenX for the morning. After a creative drive to get to our starting point we powered through all of the remaining animals by lunch. Then it was back to town to head our different ways. Sold De Lune and I headed out to the Bald rock road to do the remaining caches out that way. Thanks.

Found it with Team FIN [kapeka & laalaa]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Australian Capital Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!
Greetings from Finland!
Greetings from Finland.
Thanks for the cache.
We all had a number of unfound caches out in this area so teamed up in one car and headed out to grab them. A good day with all caches found......a total of about 120 for this part of the day.
Thanks for the cache and adding to the fun of our Mega trip.....
Today was the big day, the day of the CITO, the Flash Mob and the closing ceremony. Time to say goodbye for tomorrow we are on the road to Warwick. Thanks the cache maker for your cache, which added to our fun.
We had managed to knock over just over 100 caches in just under 4 hours and soon after, we were in a position where SDL and ALB had found ones we were missing. So we were returned to the Mega site to jump in our geomobile and from there we went seperate ways. With the very first cache collected at 0850, the ver last cache collected at 2122 with a ~2 hour break, we managed 226 cache finds in a 10 hour caching period. This is our biggest daily achievement to date !!!
Some caches were easy, some a little more difficult, all in all, no DNF's to record and the Stanthorpe powertrails are now officially COMPLETE
The weather was nice to us today and the roads remained dry enough to get around without any issues.
Thanks the cache maker for placing this cache for us to make a find on
Today's plan for us was to complete the powertrails we had left around Stanthorpe and to nab any randoms along the way. A plan was hatched with our fellow ACT geomates, Sol de Lune and Albida33, the night before to join them at 8am to see how many we could knock off.
With just over 100 caches nabbed in under 4 hours, we were up to the point where Sol and Albida had already found the ones we had yet to get. So with that we all returned to Mega GZ to freshen up, then RW and I continued on to knock over the remaining caches we had left to collect on the power trails.
All up we made 226 finds in 10hrs-not a bad effort I reckon and it made for our biggest day yet!
Thanks to all of the CO's who placed the caches for us to find on a most enjoyable day. As a powertrail co-owner, I can appreciate the work involved in setting them up!
Thanks to all CO for your efforts in putting out these caches.
Thanks to the respectve CO's for their caches

The weather will not deter us
We decided we'd hit the trail and get our cache on.
We were trying to crack 200 finds in a day and it seems we managed it.
Thanks for the time & effort you put into these caches!
Signed the log as A.M ( short for Arielisme & Mlroberts73)
[red] 2016 NZ Mega Event in Turangi... http://www.nzmega2016.nz
In all it was a great weekend catching up with some familiar faces over the course of the few days and have a few laughs and fun with the shenanigans of group cache hunting.
An enjoyable time was had by all in our small caching group travelling around the back roads here picking up the finds on the different series out this way.
Thanks for the effort in the creative hides and thought out descriptions for each of them.
Cheers.
[u][Teal]2016 Mega Event Labour weekend in Turangi visit [url=http://www.nzmega2016.nz/]New Zealand Mega 2016[/Url] [/Teal][u]
We had a group and we had a mission to find 200 in the day,
We started out signing the log book with our full names Mlroberts73 & Arielisme but not long after the first 25 or so we started to get writers cramps? so we shorted it after about the 40th we sign the log as A&M as the log books where getting full and we didn’t need to take up so much room with our full names..
Thanks for having us for a great weekend
Shame about the weather but the caching was a whole lot of fun with adventures and trash talk along the way.
Thank you to all the cache owners that put these together for us to enjoy while at the OZ MEGA 2015, as NZer's we certainly did appreciate them.
So again thank you for the FUN of the hunt
PS - Logs signed as LCB + WK
We had an absolute blast today, beaut countryside, lots of laughs, one flat tyre, no snakes, fantastic range of caches & no DNFs.
Many thanks for placing these caches for us to enjoy & bringing us to a beautiful part of Australia.
Cheers!

Find #4719
Day five for me, having arrived in Stanthorpe last night, the team of Clever Monkey, Jamin Appleford, Marcus Vituvius and I got together to discuss tactics. Luckily MV had put together a fantastic list of caches, a plan of sorts that would hopefully get us to 300 caches for the day. Little did I know what was to come. I had a stamp made up with all our initials on to save time once we found each cache.
After a 4.30am start, we made our first find at 5:34AM and final #403 at 11:58pm. It was a truly epic day, lots of fun mixed with the hard work. Probably not something I would do again, but a 1 of experience was good fun. I also managed to chalk up my 5000th find as well.
Another quick drive by along the way.
Thanks to the cache maker for the cache. TNLN

14th / 15th November 2015 - GC5HCJ8 - Casey Fields - Melbourne Victoria
Day 6 of my mega tour of Queensland, and today I teamed up with Ahomburg, Clever Monkey and Jamin Appleford to spend one day finding as many of the local caches as we could. Our goal was to try and reach 300 finds by the end of the day...but with an amazing run of luck, and a good team spirit...we only had 2 DNF's, and we ended up with just over 400 finds.
This series of caches was in a well chosen location, as the roads were in wonderful condition, and offered plenty of room for parking. We even managed to meet a few cachers along the way. All in all...it was a fantastic day out! Thanks to all the cachers who contributed to hiding all the caches we found this week, and to my companions for making this day a memorable one!
Gratias the cache maker.
In daylight we achieved 312, for the day we achieved 403.
Up at 4.30am and at the first cache at 5.30am. Last cache was located and signed just on midnight.
AHomburg, Marcus Vituvius, Jamin Appleford and I had conspired to hit the ambitious target of 300+ caches for the day.
It was only after we had reached the 320 and stopped at the steak house opposite mega central that we thought 350 in a day was very possible and perhaps we could even reach 400..
Thanks to all the COs for the caches and the challenge that was set up for us. Without the amazing power trails around Stanthorpe it would never have been possible. Thanks also to FelixII and others for their maintenance in the week before the mega.

THE
MELBOURNE
EVENT 2015
14th / 15th November 2015 - GC5HCJ8 - Casey Fields - Melbourne Victoria
With a route planned and spirits high we managed to get around to all 312 caches on the list in 12 hours (1 minute to spare). We were very pleased with our efforts, and only 1 DNF for the day!
Thanks to all the COs for the caches and the challenge that was set up for us.

TEAM - Together Everyone Achieves More certainly proved to be the case today - together with the four Victorian Teams Gonefishen07, Alansee, maccamob, Zobo04 (signing again as GAMPZ), we found 174 caches. Each team visited every GZ, either finding the cache or signing the log, as we travelled around the country roads surrounded by a range of animal themed caches, or coming to understand the importance of many community organisations via the Awareness Series.
Our thanks to the cache maker for bringing us here.

A nice cool start then it soon heated got hot
Thanks the cache maker
We found a total of 154 finds and 1 DNF signing the log TT (Tassie Trekkers) & WW (Whitewebbs). We enjoyed the variety of hides and appreciate the time and effort gone into placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment..
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
The weather is very nice for geocaching - nice track and all the cache is good hide spot - sometime make me a fool but enjoyed myself.
Thanks for organising the cache and hunt. [^] [^]
Again thanks the cache maker[font=Verdana][/Maroon]
Thanks for placing this cache, the cache maker (maintenance helped by 2 Shadows). Found in good condition.

Currently staying at Lake Leslie we thought we would have a leisurely start today but being woken at 6am we decided to head out before 8.30am
Pretty warm day at 30+ and turned quite humid in the afternoon.
During the day we saw numerous butterflies and kangaroos. We walked carefully in the plethora of long grass.
We were absolutely amazed at all the fallen trees as we went about our trek. [8)] When was the storm[?] So much damage.
The longest find of the day went to Seal. Took an age.
We crisscrossed over about 3 series and picked up some lone traditionals aswell in a very successful day. 95 2

GC4X31B Queensland Geocaching ---- Event - Stanthorpe 2015 www.qldmega.com
We made the trip up to Stanthorpe pre Mega so that we could take the opportunity to relax with our families at the event.
Another enjoyable trip with many highlights including the caches and the general companionship of our group.
Thanks the cache maker for the cache.
I'm sorry my logs are very generic, where possible I have tried to add a bit more detail. It certainly doesn't detract from the find.
We look forward to coing back and enjoying the Mega.
Thanks
We managed to find a stack of caches along these powertrails over a couple of days . Some variety in scenery which was great- plenty of long grass and thankfully no snakes . Thanks to the hiders!
