Thanks for another freaky looking one, I have some things to say. This cache has been filled with water and log&accessories bag had been left open. Luckily the log wasnt terribly wet. I emptied the water out of this cache, shut plastic bag and put it on a different angle where it has a less chance of being filled with water. Tftc
Not an ideal day for caching. It was raining cats and dogs. But, I needed to walk off Christmas lunch and fill a calendar day and earn a souvenir. Such a fine leg! Had lots of trouble with the rain trying to navigate on a wet iPhone screen.
A little tricky to find as the GPS was having a bad day . Got there in the end . Cache made me laugh
After wandering through the trees for about a week (slight exaggeration), finally stumbled across GZ
And it is here were I thought the Workcover Inspectors may be sorting out a right mess but that just wouldn't be cricket! The Workcover inspector, the hokey pokey, they could have all been here!I giggled a bit pulling this one Thanks Paul_the_Hippy
Snips and Co and l meet up for some more DM punishment today.. I myself loved the walk even the steep sections and the goat trails. We both have an aversion and a deep hate for leeches. I sprayed us both in anticipation, but it wasn't enough to deter them..so like the morbid stories attached to some of the caches we found today thanks to PTH, many met there demise from our hands (gloved of course) or poles. This was one of the caches we found today. With the GPS way out we both just wondered around after treacherously walking the planks. until I made the call found it.. Snips and Co asked if I was pulling her leg? after the following conversation took place. Me..."it's a ....."Snips and Co..."no it not"Me "yes it is "Snips and Co "no its not "Me "ahh, yes, it is come and have a look". It was another of those moments were we both stood shaking our heads in disbelief. I took a foot selfie with the cache before we found an easier path out.
Came up this way to grab a cache for today for GT37's streak hoping that it would be a nice quick find. It took a bit of bush bashing but eventually, we had the cache in hand. Thanks for placing the cache for all to enjoy.
This cache wasn't too far from home so was perfect for today. Wasn't expecting what we found but we did find the cache. Thanks for placing the cache and bringing us here.
AusFox; and I were were heading North East chasing large containers as I am trying to get to the magic number of 180 to get a diamond badge in Project GC to satisfy some challenge caches. After picking up a couple of key caches on the way we were finally at our targets area for the day with plenty of large caches nearby.
What a fine leg here, So fine I needed to play with the thigh for a bit to get what I needed.
Thank you Paul_the_Hippy for the hide

A day out with SimsFamily in search of large caches in the Knox, Mt Dandenong and even warrandyte on the way home. Not letting the rain dampen our spirits.
A very fine hide on this leg of our journey.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the traditional cache Paul_the _Hippy

Out on the bike, clocking up the downhills, lots of uphills, oh yes the uphills, and some caches along the way, which were conveniently lined up to make things easier. Loads of muggles to deal with wandering along the main track, so lots of pretending to be resting and absorbed in my phone before diving into the bushes like a dervish. Enjoyed the many different objects to spruce it up a bit and bring a smile to my face - imagining the setting up of all these caches and the equipment needed to be brought in.
My long legs came in very handy getting there, but having a third leg would have helped with my balance. TFTC

Went out for a big 14km loop through the forest and grabbed 20 caches in the area with the wife.
Weather was good.
Bit of bush bashing on a few but everyone we went to, we found.

Requires a good deal of just wandering around given all the trees down in the area. Fun find nonetheless!
Another great container on this trail! Log book is a little bit damp but still perfectly useable.

Another great yet disturbing cache along this track. Very thankful on the guidance on location. Tftc
Thanks for the leg up Paul the hippy, with recent storms there were many horizontal logs difficult to climb over, thankfully I was able to get a leg up. Regards from Victourer
FINALLY got my daily in, after visiting five caches.
This one had me annoyed at the start, as I was thinking, "Cool, I'm gonna break my leg getting there."
Luckily I was able to scramble over the debris and locate the cache.
Suffice to say, it was not a hollow leg, as about a litre of water poured out. Luckily the inner bag was intact so the log could be signed. Placed it so no more moisture should fall into it.

It was a pleasant if cold afternoon for a bushwalk and to search out a few caches.
Someone investigating storm damage in this area would be forgiven for thinking that a tornado had sucked up various items from the suburbs and deposited them in the bush here.
The leg, I mean, log was damp but quite signable.

A fine leg indeed! Between the last find and this one I’m glad I wore hiking boots! Logbook is notably soaked. tftc
Out and about with the boys for a walk this morning, parked Mathias Road and followed the trail down to the tracks and did a great loop.
I expected this to be cricket themed with the fine leg, but still a great cache, pulling our legs with these containers

I always love coming up to the Dandenong Ranges, such a gorgeous area. I always feel at peace when I walk around here.
So I came up here specifically to try and find a few of these large containers as I am always on the hunt for more large containers.
I really enjoyed this series of larges each one definitely made me smile and get a good chuckle.
With all the storm damage to the area this one definitely took me a bit to find, but made it that much better when I finally pulled out the cache lol.
The cache itself is in “fine” shape still lol. The outer most bag was soaked and fairly muddy. However, the inner bag kept the logbook dry. However the logbook is also a little dirty but still good to go for a while I think. Thanks for the fun cache container series and TFTC!
P.S. for future cachers the cache may get stuck in the outer container. I really had to give it a good shake for the cache to fall out and get access to the logbook!

Found it! Thanks Paul for the update! It is a mess in the area of the cache. Loved the container! The log book is wet.
One of the many fallen trees had crushed the 2 logs the cache was under but still managed to find. Now next to the root ball of a large fallen tree. No change to the coords just the landscape has changed. Will need to remember to update the hint.
I am absolutely loving these geocaches. What a crack up this one was. And quite an eerie find out in the forest... especially when you’re alone. Felt a bit like I had witnessed part of a murder
TFTC Paul The hippy. These are fantastic. A favourite for this one

I had planned to take the Rifle Range Gully Track but decided to continue along to grab the 3rd large cache on this track and then double back
Pleased I did
Summer is probably not the best time to be walking off track but this cache exposed itself pretty quickly (although whilst signing the log I did have to give a leech the flick off my trouser leg before he could hitch a ride)
I like a cacher with a sense of humour and this one ticks the boxes
Many thanx to Paul_The_Hippy. Enjoyed finding the 3 large caches along this track. Will return another day to hopefully grab the others

I organised with a friend to go on a walk after work, and I chose this track because I hadn't done these caches yet. We did a loop of about 4km, and were both stuffed by the end. Some very interesting cache hides that's for sure!
What is a perpendicular log anyway?
It's a bit hard not to trip over frequently when you are legless, but in this case she was only missing one so tripped only half as many times to get there.

Loved this one, a little bizarre and kooky and something different. A favourite from me.
Had forgotten how fabulous the forest is up here - big trees an understatement. Mission is to get a few more “larges” so these are perfect and fun - you could say hilarious! Not so cricket jokes I looked up but here goes “You're looking glum'. 'Yes. My doctor says I can't play cricket.' 'Really? I didn't know he'd ever seen you play!' Fave for caches container and effort to amuse!
This one took us a while! After pondering the previous log comments, we tried a new approach.
It was hilarious and super creepy when we found this cache. Bit of a worry about the leeches but thrilling at the same time.
I was a bit confused with this one.
Position was West of path, Hint Said East.
Desc. said log Horizontal to Path (Parallel?), Hint mentioned perpendicular.
Search on both sides of path.
Soooooo many logs, and so much tree bark had been brought down by the rain, ith was like a blanket. I could have been standing on the cache and not realised.
After finding 'Toilet Trained' and 'Workcover' I thought I should have been easier so I went back and tried again.
Still a DNF.
Great place to walk or bike.

Lol. Thought you were pulling my leg!
Found with geoFam . All in good condition. TFTC Taken the pathtag to move along.

The weather was miserable today, so we thought we would do what looked like a fun series of caches. We really enjoyed finding these with goingplaces2 as they displayed a whacky sense of humour. Each was definitely different and gave us a laugh as the camo used was unexpected. TFTC. Fav point for this one.
Today was a dull, dreary, dismal day at the start. It was also cold, windy and wet and don't forget the fog! There was no blue sky or sun all day. But some caching still happened along wet muddy bush tracks, walking with ilook4geo.
Hope the owner of this camo is not totally legless now.
It was a fine find, log was signed and then it was off to slosh further along the muddy route as far as we wanted to go for the morning. The bush area is really beautiful with lovely tall trees.
Thank you Paul_the_Hippy for showing us this area.

Today I decided to go for a walk. A bit like the CO did when these caches were placed I guess! It does not seem to matter which section of the Dandenong’s I walk in, it all seems equally beautiful. Thanks for placing the cache, Paul_the_Hippy, and forcing me to walk! I could do with a new set of legs. If only there was two.
I had been given a big chunk of time to go caching today after a busy day yesterday with the kids. I made an early start in the darkness but pretty soon the sun was out to reveal a beautiful day. In this park my GPS was so wobbly - so I was very thankful for some detailed hints I would have been lost without them! Another hilarious find - where the heck did you get these things from??!!! TFTC
Found it, Sl in this case doesn’t stand for signed log it stands for signed leg. thanks Paul for the cache.
I don't normally cache out this way but with a bit of spare time had targetted a few hides around here to fill some missing months on my months found calendar. After finding those I scanned around for some other interesting hides and stumbled across this short little series. I was running out of time to make it home so I just tackled the three large hides along the trail before heading back to the car.
After finding the previous couple of hides I was wondering what I was in for here and it didn't disappoint. That is certainly the first cache of this type I have ever found. Thanks for the enjoyable walk in this beautiful part of the world and the different style of hide.

Found at 11:53 AM GAFF1.
Another one that I was very fortunate to locate quickly. At a distance of 15 metres, I suddenly noticed a rather shapely leg
Thanks Paul_the_Hippy.

As we approached GZ, we were trying to guess what clever cache container would greet us. We were not let down with the imaginative container. TFTC Paul_the_Hippy.

I should have known.... Should have expected something like this... But still I found myself just that little bit startled when I first spotted this one.
This was stop three of my "Bartlett Track Mental Health Day Mostly Hippy Caches Wander", under the restorative trees of the hills I once called home.
Took a little while to locate the right log here as I went off-track a little too early, but happily there were no leeches in evidence, and so (not having any red wine) several bottles of a decent Yarra Valley cider were later drunk in the evening instead, to maintain that all-important blood flow.
Once found I did have a bit of a silent laugh, following the momentary heart-stoppage, then signed the fresh log, visited a trackable and continued on my way eastward.
Thanks for the cache, Paul_the_Hippy. Fave point awarded for this one, for the sheer "What the?" factor.

This is a very bizarre cache which made us laugh and compare. What a great idea!!!. The log book was very soggy and we were unable to sign it. A photo was taken just in case we need to provide evidence that we found it. Thanks you so much for bringing us here Paul_the_Hippy and for a great afternoon of caching.
Bahaha! Hilarious! Log book is drenched so we'll send a pic. Gave us all a good laugh. TFTC
All we need is a few more body parts and then we’ll have a Third Man!
Sorry for the bad pun - DNF’d at the nearby cache and needed to get this one out of our system.

With a family trip planned up to the hills for a few nights it was good to get out and walk in this great area. Even though I used to live up this way, I had never walked along this track. The geo family were excited to get out even with the terrible weather we are having at the moment. We were hoping to see a lyrebird but we missed out this time. This one took the longest to find in this area today. The GPSr went all over the place so I put it away and started hunting. it took me about 10 mins to find. The log was saturated and slimy and sitting in water. I tried to empty the water away but the log will need replacing.

I'm enjoying these kooky caches around here! Always a nice change to see something a bit different to the usual sistema containers. The coords were pretty good and I made my way down and quickly found it, haha! Like others have said, log book is quite wet but I managed to write my name onto it. Thanks Paul the Hippy
