Not Found by Team GeoCoopers.
Was passing by and thought I'd check to see if it was there after the previous two purple faces. Found the stump easily by torch light and had a pretty good dig around. I think sadly this cache is gone and needs to be archived.

Set off to find our first cache which we thought would be an easy find as the area is easily accessable.Found the cache site easy but gave up after 15 minutes searching on hands and knees for a leaf covered container.Lots of leaves on the surrounding ground !!! It was abvious the cache had been removed or perhaps we needed more experience ?I now see the last logged site visitor could not find the cache either so it must have been removed.

Visited by Mary & David on our way from Brisbane to Gympie and after visiting friends at Dicky Beach. We had hoped that this would be our fourth cache for the day. So close to the car park too. Turned out to be too good to be true. Found the stump quickly enough but alas no cache to be found in or near it, after a long and thorough search. Sad Seems Davenshell may have been right and it may have been taken. Also, noticed that the burnt-out rubbish bin (way point) has been replaced by a shiny new one.

Found 11:00am.
We started off from home on a bright sunny day and arrived at this site in an absolute down pour of rain. Wayne and myself decided we hadn't travelled this far to miss out so we went into find it. Well we didn't exactly walk across the bridge, more like paddled. Anyway we found the cache and ran it back to the cars where we filled in the log book and made the swaps. We left CDRs, toothbrush (new!) Beer cooler and other stuff.
We made another dash in the rain to put it back.
Wayne and myself were soaked but we had succeeded.
This is a very easy cache to find, I hope not too easy, (Don't want it ratted, time will tell).
Lovely place.

After locating Goodness Mee Gavin F and I went after this one, it IS right in our local area after all.

Interesting location .. and the dead tree stump is SOMETHING to see! We took the small torch, and left a kitchen timer ... didn't want to leave a torch in place of a torch after all! Not difficult at all to find, the pic of the stump helped.

Someone else HAD already found this cache according to the log sheet, no entry here. Unfortunately they left no details whatsoever, not even the date but it had to be in the last few days! Smile
